The most beautiful experience of my life. I thank Stefano Elisabetta Marco Domenico and all the staff of Diplomatici who made this wonderful trip possible. It is definitely worth trying at least once in your life as it opens your mind and also gives you new friendships and wonderful memories. The escorts are always fantastic and always go out of their way to please us because they step into our shoes. The simulation part is beautiful as it makes you understand how important decisions are made in our world. And in the end you also have the opportunity to meet the people who make these decisions in person. The tourism part, however, fills the heart with happiness and memories and the mere thought of returning home makes you cry. But it's nice precisely because the memories of the trip remain forever in our hearts and fill us with stories to tell.💓💓💓💓💓💓💓

I want to thank Marella and Flavio, who every MUN want us to have fun, following the rules, and enjoy this experience to the full. Associazione Diplomatici proved once again to really deserve my sincere esteem! It is already the second time I join CWMUNs as a volunteer staff member and there will be a third for sure. Change the World Model United Nation’s environment is truly motivating, it really makes you love what you are working for. I want to thank all the people I met during this wonderful experience, proactive and kind fellows, and in particular the Chief of Dais, Alice Corbino, for trusting me. This amazing experience would not have been possible without her meticulous and tireless work.

Simply great! I would have never imagined to be part of such an amazing experience with a super dynamic team! CWMUN is really an interesting and stimulating project for both students and staff members. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet new people from all over the world and understanding other cultures and viewpoints. Students are always so kind, hardworking and cooperative and at the end of the conference they may also become new nice friends! Moreover, being part of the staff for the second time in one year has been literally AMAZING! My colleagues make me always feel home to the extent that I can proudly state we’re members of the same family. Thank you all guys!

It is already the second time I take part in the CWMUN as a volunteer staff member and I will certainly do it a third time. I was amazed at how ambitious and creative the delegates were and at their strong faith in diplomacy as a tool to shape a better global society. But above all, I was happy to work again with Diplomatici. It is such a vibtant and friendly environment. It feels like a family but it is also very proactive and efficient. We were always proactive and ready to face sudden changes. The DAIS supervisor, Alice, is a very supportive leader and is always ready to listen to us. She did a great job in training us and in coordinating the event’s sessions and works. I was also in team with a great director, Alessia, who being more experienced, was an important support and we managed not only to work efficiently together but also to make the experience enjoyable and memorable for all delegates in our Committee. A great experience! the CWMUN in Abu Dhabi was a wonderful experience that every young person with international aspirations should take part in. Highly recommend!

It is a very well organised institution in the MUN World which makes them at some point the best one, as they give you packets with fixed prices! They are like a family and I am very proud that I am part of it and help through it! Both as a delegate and as a Dais Member the feelings are unforgettable and the memories incomparable! Being on the staff team of the CWMUN was truly magnificent. The atmosphere was very friendly and pleasant; our supervisor Miss Alice, who gave us the opportunity to represent Associazione Diplomatici for which I'm very very grateful, was a true leader, helping us with all the doubts always and coordinating everything in an excellent and extraordinary way despite all the difficulties.
CWMUN provides a lifetime and unique experience to every participant; whoever decides to attend a conference of CWMUN will pass a time which he will remember with a smile for the rest of his life.

The CWMUNs are the events I keep looking forward throughout the year. The international air that I breathe in the conference rooms, enriched by aspirations and the dire desire to make a change, fills my chest with a purifying breeze that allows me to see the real hope for our future: our outstanding students.
This was my third experience as a DAIS member, and out of each every single one of the events I have attended Emirates will always have a special place in my heart. Furthermore the opportunity to work with such an outstanding team, where unity does not limit itself to the conference and staff rooms, but rather extends to our hearts even when apart. Incomparable skills are not the sole gift I get to cherish after the event came to an end, but the opportunity to augment my life luggage with wonderful memories and people allowed me to find even more joy and fulfilment in what I do, always wanting to make me come back and learn more.
Alice, the chief of DAIS, is always willing to help us and never fails to fuel our excitement for every session. She ensures everyone feels comfortable enough to perform at their best and never fails to prepare our team at its best for every possible scenario. She has taught me a lot, and is someone I highly look up to as she is able to manage our all team while being so young. Overall everyone has a special place in my heart, after Emirates I feel eager to keep on motivating my students into opening our eyes to the beauty of our world when peace and diplomacy are implemented to solve problems. As we start caring for them so young I believe that by nurturing them with support and hope all of them will bloom into lovely flowers that will help our world become the most beautiful bouquet

Change the world is my favorite part of the year: from the amazing locations to the awesome team I could not ask for more! I love the family that forms from every event and I cannot wait for the next one!

Advantage: General idea for the project, "game-changing" video, participants, communication channels for participants, visit to the UN headquarters, the location of the accommodation.

Disadvantage: communication channels with staff (long waiting time for a response or no response at all; I didn't get all the recordings of the meetings I asked for; confusion with baggage fee), quality of accommodation (it is scandalous to put two strangers in one bed), no access to wifi for everyone, no writing surface.

CMWUN NY 2023 has been an investment at any level: economically but also in terms of the time spent and the effort made. At the end of the day though all I can stress is that it was definitely worth it! The MUN experience and the amazing people I met and enjoyed my time with, are the best reward for any kind of endeavour.

My biggest thank goes to Giada and Angelo! Love you guys❤️. The best tourist guide you can ask for, hands down! They helped me and all the people of the Tourist Package to feel welcome from the beginning and create beautiful bonds. Undoubtedly they made the experience even better with their energy and friendliness.
A special thank also goes to Nicola who guided me during the delegate course and as the chair of my committee in NY. He stayed perfectly in character for what his role competed, but always helped and supported us.

The one of NY 2023 was my first CWMUN, but after having experienced it, I simply don’t want it to be the last!

The Experience with CWMUN was such a good one:
1. E-Learning method’s with lectures by scheduled meeting and on demand.
2. Very structured, prepared, patient, kind and open minded Stuff, which will guide to a smoothly conference run. (for example Angelo, Chiara, Federico ,…)
3. They organised a hotel for accommodation and conferences in the middle of New York, direct at the Time square.
Beside the conferences, there were some cultural activities as well.
4. Highlight is the entrance in the UN GA-Hall with discussions by professional politics.
All in all, a unique experience with the huge amount of international students for political discussions and having some fun.

It was an amazing experience, I'll never forget the people I met with the same desire of changing the world as me.

As an Ecuadorian, it reminds me of the importance of being part of international affairs and the goal I want to achieve in the future. Thanks, CWMUN.

CWMUN NYC 2023, the just the name gives a fancy vibe and it’s conducted in the City of dreams and a city that never sleeps, that’s just enough to describe how excited people and I were. First of all, coming to the tutoring classes, I felt like they weren’t enough/detailed for first timers at MUN, as a person myself with Experience found it a little bit difficult to adjust to what was happening and you can think of first timers. Now coming to the Conference, it was a very good and an organised one, and the sessions were held according to the time and the Chair, President and the Rapporteur of my committee were very helpful and punctual. The problem over here was it was not diverse enough to justify the name of Change the World, if anyone wants to change the World, it shouldn’t just include only Europeans but rather try including everyone with very different backgrounds. Nearly 70% of the participants were Italians and 90% were Europeans and the rest 10% were scattered with Latin Americans, people from Indian subcontinent, Africans and barely any south east asians. If you talk about changing the world, you need to be very inclusive of every ethnicity and their views should be respected. I’m an Engineering student with having an interest in International Relations but I’ve seen very few students/delegates with an interdisciplinary background. Delegates with just Liberal arts background were proposing Ideas which were super hypothetical and favouring just the European continent as their thinking is not diverse and adequate enough. I have represented Italy at FAO and got an Honorable mention for my delegation. I have wondered how some people with hypothetical solutions and people who didn’t speak got awards, it was little bit partial I would say but not to a large extent. Coming to interactions, everyone were nice enough to talk but there have already been groups of their languages like Italians, spaniards, latinos, Germans, etc.. it was difficult for many people to mingle with them and understand them as their language isn’t the same. But as in my case, it was very different as my friends were kind enough to translate things for me and considerate enough to talk to me in English. Although this conference these many setbacks, I give it a solid 4 rating while it was a very good experience for budding delegates and Liberal arts students and the best part was the visit to UNO Hq. I absolutely loved the experience in the United Nations. It’d have been better if they let us wear us our traditional attire to atleast the UN Building as we can atleast Show our Identities which have been ignored by the world, but afterall it was fascinating enough to participate in this amazing conference and I’ve made friends whom I think would last a lifetime.

My experience was overall good, however I have heard multiple complaints about the majority of participants being Italians and I would suggest to increase the promotion of the event and association abroad. I asked my referent about the criteria for combining delegates and the answer was “random, we just tried to match time-zones”, however I’ve met two couples that knew each other from before the event (in my committee, so there were possibly more) and many of us Italians were paired with each other, I would have preferred to encounter a more different perspective while approaching a new country and the whole thematic, and I think everybody should have been subject to the same challenge.

First of all I want to say that the experience was great but only because I met really special people.

I have lots to say about the organisation though.
First of all my “tutor/ whatsoever” Nicola Zaini was not very kind (not to say he was rude) in the interactions that I had with him. I was among the ones who had booked the tickets for the nba match and I texted him at 8am to know how to collect the ticket and he reached out through a group chat hours after my text saying that we had to meet in Starbucks in like two hours. As you know New York is a huge city and I was with some friends (who were not going to the match) on the other side of the city, and to be on time for the meeting I had to spend lots of money for an Uber (cause for safety reasons subway was not an option) just for the lack of organisation of my tutor.

I was waiting with another guy in the Starbucks that is close to literally all Diplomatici’s hotel and since no one was there I checked the text again to discover that the location was like 2km faraway.
At this point we called Nicola explaining the situation and since it was raining LIKE CRAZY we asked him to give our tickets to the next person coming to collect his/hers. He said that he had no tickets left and we had to run cause we were the last ones and he was not going to wait longer. We literally run under the rain to be on time. As soon as we get there we apologise for the misunderstanding and he (I guess by mistake) takes out of the envelope like 8 tickets. I guess we were not the last ones.

I thought this behaviour was extremely disrespectful. The following day I lost my voice and caught a cold, just because some guy with a huge EGO could not be kind enough to hear us out or to simply answer a text I sent HOURS before he answered.

I am very sorry to write this cause I don’t think he is much older that I am but literally everyone who had interactions with him thought that he had bad manners and is FULL OF HIMSELF.

I have no interest in writing this since I am not going to participate in the future but I do believe that it’s useful for the people who will in the future.
