Charges u and stealing your money for no reason. Just canceled my membership at fitness first because of that ‘scamming’ 3rd party. I recommend you to stay away from any facility or business charging u thru this dodgy company.

BE WARNED! My friend and I were told by what we now know to be a hired marketer (not a gym rep/worker) , who we thought signed us up with the Human Mechanics gym in Bendigo, that we could cancel our gym membership at anytime, no questions asked, for a $100 fee and promised a bunch of services to be included with our membership. When the services we were promised were not delivered, despite out multiple attempts, we contacted the gym to cancel and were told to read the fine print on our contract with Debit Success , where we are locked in for 3 years .... and the gym does not have to deliver/ we have no contract with them! We are having a nightmare trying to cancel so we can join a gym which offers the services we need and were promised.
Don't go any where near this company
I recently changed over my software to another company as I noticed that the fees for DS seemed to be getting higher and higher, and DS are asking me to pay $120,000.00 in exit fees. I'm in the process of seeking legal advice.

billing on incorrect days, doing all they can to get late fee payment or dishonor fees, unreliable service provider and non-existent customer service... when questioned on why they would delay the direct debit until the moment the account had insufficient funds they insisted on refunding me and ran away with their tail between their legs... Why NZ gyms still use these guys is beyond comprehension.

my gym used this payment company when i lived in australia. they charged me an "insufficient funds" fee multiple times even though my account had MORE than enough money in it on every occasion. in the end i cancelled my membership and went with another gym.
if your gym uses debit success, quit it immediately.
and if you are a gym owner thinking of using this company, just know that their service is so bad and unethical your members WILL cancel their memberships in response, despite being otherwise completely satisfied by your gym.

This company doesn’t even deserve a 1-star rating. Debitsuccess continued charging my credit card after my son’s 10-week After School GO program at Michael Wenden Aquatic Leisure Centre had ended, despite me selecting the option to stop payments once the program was finished. Not only were they taking unauthorised payments, but they were also slapping me with $14 late fees on top of it! How can I be “late” on payments for a program that no longer exists?
I contacted them multiple times, and every time, I was given the runaround. First, they claimed they couldn’t find the email approving my refund, then when they finally admitted it existed, they told me to wait 10 working days. Surprise, surprise—10 working days passed, and still no refund. When I called back, their rep denied ever speaking to me before, despite me recognising his voice! When confronted, he suddenly “remembered” but then tried to say I spoke to someone else. Unbelievably unprofessional.
Their customer service is a joke, their processes are shady, and they have no accountability. If you ever sign up for anything that uses Debitsuccess, triple-check your contract and watch your bank account like a hawk because they will take your money whether you owe them or not. Avoid them at all costs!
Local government councils should not be utilising Debitsuccess to manage members’ accounts, as their unethical billing practices and poor customer service create unnecessary financial stress for customers.
Absolutely terrifying
TerrifyingAbsolutely terrifying! These people are extremely unhelpful. Spoke to a man named Callum. I couldn’t hear him. He refused to speak louder. He just kept on speaking in a very low volume. I could hear the background noise clearly. He was doing it on purpose. It took me 15 minutes ro get his name. I had to ask letter by letter the volume was so low. He was doing all this intentionally. Very eerie and it feels like you’re talking to a scammer.
They are taking money out of my account after my gym term has been cancelled. Scary men. Called the gym and they agreed with me. Owner of the gym will be speaking to you tomorrow. I’m blasting this all over th internet.

My partner suffered stomach cancer and also shoulder surgery so cancelled her membership. Despite several visits and phone calls we are being chased by their credit team for ongoing subscriptions. They have lost the medical forms that were handed to them in person and are now requesting them again for the 3rd time. Go somewhere else

I was charged a $10 'late' fee even though there was money in the account, and it wasn't late. They have also done this without my approval. They refuse to take any accountability and have directed me to speak to the Gym (FF) about rectifying this. The worst service and customer experience.

Worst company I have EVER dealt with and have only been with them ONE MONTH!!! , shut my account down and will never do service with them ever again, the bank warned me they have so mush trouble with them and to shut my account down as the problems will continue, now i see why, have done exactly that, they have mucked me around soooooooo much, are very rude and dont care. Ripped me off and stoley money and the Won't give it back. Be very careful. Stay away from this company bad bad news

This company was in New Zealand over 30 years ago. They have a bad reputation in New Zealand. When people try to stop their payments and left the gym, the company actually kept them taking money out of their accounts and now they're over here. In some cases it took months for people to actually stop this company taking money out of their accounts unless they changed their accounts

Absolutely terrible business
Absolutely terrible business! This business is used to take gym membership fees from my account. I set up a payment date but started receiving late payment messages I would call them to discuss but they would just demand money saying evidence of banking payment I made and emailed to them wouldn't be looked at for around 5 days. I am bombarded every single week with late fees that are wrong. They are making money by using their debit services from my local gym to rip off people. This business has caused me so much time and stress.

Just had this happen to me via Jetts NZ. Normallly two payments a week, this week they only took one. Send me overdue notices with penalties.
My bank said it was not an issue on the banks end and the account had funds in it.
Just a big waste of my time.
Have emailed Jetts and hopefully they will sort it to save me dealing with these bottom feeders.
