Terrible place! Zero stars, if available. Rude customer service. High prices. And, the place smells - horrible, horrible stale-food smell. Some of the food and liquor products obviously have been on the shelves for years - some covered in dust, others on "sale" (e.g., lower prices from the already jacked-up prices) because they are old and probably stale or past expiration dates. Just a gross, nasty place. Biggest problem - one cashier barely speaks English - I paid for a non-alcoholic mixer with my credit card, and this fellow has seen me on other occasions - after paying, I pause to look at their collection of tequila bottles (they have a fair collection of high-priced specialty bottles) and when I start to walk out, the English-speaking fellow yells, "Hey, BOSS, where you going with that? You pay for that?" Now, I'm a semi-retired senior citizen, professional (lawyer), and I just paid with a credit card - and he has security cameras - and he is now standing behind the register where the last transaction - mine - is still showing. And don't call me "BOSS" - so I ask him - you think I'm a thief? Really? That's insulting ..." and I ask the non-English speaking person, "tell him that I paid." Of course, that's no help, because the guy doesn't speak much English. Anyway, I don't need to be treated like that - and if the BOSS guy had any business sense, he would have been paying attention to what was happening in his store - at the time, I was the only customer, and he has cameras all over, and should have been serving customers rather than falsely accusing them of common thievery. NEVER GO IN THIS PLACE. If the smell doesn't get you, the BOSS guy will. Terrible place. BOYCOT!

Once I placed my order, I did not hear a peep for weeks regarding the preparation of my order or shipping. I sent three emails over the course of the next three weeks requesting an update on my order. I never received a response, but finally received shipping and tracking information after 6 weeks. I honestly feel like they would have never sent my order had I not consistently emailed them. I also felt it was really bad form to never respond or explain why the order was delayed. Their selection is good but I will likely not order again, just because of their poor controls when it comes to processing orders.

I've had two orders with them over the past 4 months. the first was a semi-rare Irish whiskey at a comptetitve price. Order came through with no issues. Feeling lucky, my recent order arrived yesterday--5 rarer bottles of Scotch and Irish whiskey. No problems. Packed well, sealed and all there. Yes, we had some polite correspondence about one of my bottles being sold out (or there would've been six here yesterday), but they are honest, have great communication and shipping is reasonable. Unlike some of th scam sits out there (and I've dealt with those unfortunately), these folks know their product, have a great selection and great customer service. Shipping was quite reasonable.

Incredible first purchase experience. Ordered three bottles of whiskey a few days before Christmas. Decided to add the third bottle to my order after placing an order for the first two. Their customer service was extremely responsive, added the third bottle to my order and adjusted shipping accordingly. The order arrived on New Year’s Eve, which was ahead of schedule and was packed extremely well and shipped via a good delivery service. Would definitely recommend and would order from them again.
