Del Monte Foods Avis 50

First issue is I cracked a tooth on a cherry pit from delMonte’s Very cherry canned fruit in light syrup.
Second, false advertised ‘very cherry’ as there were barely Any cherries in the large can and the pieces were very small

Why don’t Del Monte produce tinned plums in the U.K.
Prunes are not the same.
Having read about Del Monte I have found they sold it quite a while ago. Kraft bought it, the same company who bought out Cadbury York and closed it down after saying they wouldn’t. So the tinned fruit is now rubbish.

Complained to Del monte customer service on one of there products came back to me to say they would look into it and also would send some vouchers for my trouble. Three weeks and three emails on still waiting for the vouchers.

I really like this. French car green beans from DEL Monte. But the last 2 times I have ordered from me and my family. We were eating and then suddenly wooden pieces. They need to check these green beans before they leave the company. It's very serious and dangerous because if there's a child eaten these green beans they could have choked and I have called the company to let them know hopefully they can resolve this issue, I don't know how many batches are out there. But I wanted to let people know about that this was found in the green beans. Not good, not good at all :(

Quality of there fruit now is really disappointing, Ive bought numerous cans of Del Monte fruit cocktail and a large amount of the contents are hard, it used to be the saying was " The man from delmonte says yes" Well I think its time he says NO

Very poor customer service. They make it difficult for customers to contact them when you do the help is very poor. I always purchase their products because I thought that they would have been of a higher standard but it fell below and I contacted customer services. I say contact because it took ages to get anywhere. i am still waiting for compensation vouchers. I have chased several times and each time I am given an excuse.

Fruit cocktail - It's now mostly just peaches.

I have been trying to reach Del Monte for a couple of weeks via email and have yet to receive any response . They make it very difficult to reach out to them when all the links I click on says “access denied “! I purchased two packages of fruit cups and the peaches are different colors and there is a fine whitish powdery substance on all the tops. I would think that Del Monte would be interested and concerned about defective products.

The man from Del Monte he says: We don’t know how to make ring pull cans that work so make sure you have an old fashioned can opener to hand. Not that it will do you any good, we make our tins from reinforced steel. A bit like the pineapple rings we put inside !

What's happened to your tinned fruit ( which is not cheap ) ?
Your fruit cocktail :
* very bland syrup juice - tasteless
* the pear's, brick hard
* counted 2 small bit's of cherry
* hardly any fruit
Very disappointed with the standard now of your tinned fruit cocktail.
Zero star's if l could.
A famous company, like many others, cutting corners for bigger margins, yet still charge high costs to the consumer.
Sad !!!
