Terrible and very scary experience
I had this treatment with Rachel back in May and purposely waited around two months before writing this review because I wanted to see the final results before giving my honest opinion. Looking back now, I genuinely wish I had listened to the recent review I came across before booking.

I spent weeks researching filler clinics across London because I wanted somewhere reputable without paying £10,000+ for a relatively small amount of filler. I know filler isn’t permanent, so spending that kind of money never made sense to me. After a lot of research, I came across Derma Beauty Clinic on Instagram. Their before and after photos looked amazing, they worked with influencers, and from the way they advertised themselves, they appeared to be an established clinic with locations in both the UK and the US. Nothing about their social media made me question whether they were legitimate.
The first red flag was simply trying to get in touch with them. It took me almost two weeks just to book an appointment. The UK phone number wasn’t even active, emails went unanswered for days, and I ended up having to chase them through Instagram before someone finally responded.
A few days before my appointment, I was reading through their Fresha reviews and came across a recent review from another girl who said her appointment kept getting rescheduled. She wasn’t happy with the way things had been handled or with her results. I remember reading it and thinking maybe she’d just been unlucky. I ignored it because everything else I’d seen online looked convincing.

Turns out, exactly the same thing happened to me.
My appointment was originally booked for Wednesday. One day beforehand, Rachel called asking if she could move it to Thursday. I agreed. Then, early on Thursday morning, around 7 or 8am, she called me again sounding upset, saying she wasn’t feeling well and asking if I could move the appointment to another day. I couldn’t rearrange my schedule, so instead she pushed it back until later that same day.
When I arrived at 11am sharp, I couldn’t even find the clinic. Another thing that immediately concerned me was that when I searched for Derma Beauty Clinic on Google Maps, no clinic location came up at all. For a business that presents itself as an established clinic, I found that really strange. There were no signs outside, no reception, no branding, nothing showing where the clinic actually was. I had to call Rachel, and she told me to wait because she was “getting the bed ready.” I stood outside for around 15 to 20 minutes. It honestly looked like she’d only just arrived herself.

When she finally opened the door, I was even more confused. It wasn’t anything like what I had expected from their Instagram. The building looked like one of those places where different beauty businesses rent separate rooms. There were Chinese women doing nails and massages upstairs, and Rachel simply told me to follow her downstairs into a basement.

The treatment room itself was incredibly disappointing. There were no windows, no receptionist, no other practitioners, no music, no proper clinic atmosphere, nothing. Considering I was paying around £3,000, I expected to walk into a professional aesthetic clinic where I’d immediately feel safe and looked after. Instead, it honestly felt like I was in a rented basement room.
What made me even more uncomfortable was seeing Rachel unpack everything from a suitcase she’d literally just brought in with her. She opened the luggage right in front of me, and the fillers were inside it. There wasn’t a proper clinical setup already prepared, no products displayed, no equipment laid out professionally, nothing that gave me confidence. It immediately made me question the whole setup.
The consultation lasted about two minutes. She briefly asked what I wanted, said “okay, lie down,” and that was it. I remember lying there thinking how surreal the whole situation felt. There was no conversation, no reassurance, no music, nothing to make me feel comfortable. Rachel barely spoke throughout the entire appointment and honestly gave off the impression that she didn’t even want to be there. The atmosphere was so awkward and negative that I just wanted the treatment to be over.
Fast forward two months the filler has almost completely disappeared. I’m left with several lumps, uneven areas and small bumps that I never had before. I’ve also developed noticeably more cellulite in the treated area than I had before the procedure, which has been incredibly upsetting. I rarely leave negative reviews, but when people are spending thousands of pounds on a cosmetic procedure, they deserve to know exactly what someone else’s experience was. This clinic is very dangerous and is operating illegally

Filler doesnt last longer than 2 months i wasted over 10 k I went here three times as I thought I had to build up the filler by the third time I realised it was just disappearing after a few months and I had over 1400 mils. I was happy with the results at first then it literally disappears after a few months , i have asked for the batch and serial numbers of each of the vials used (that were in unlabelled syringes) but have been ignored multiple times don’t waste your money any time you get a filler girls make sure that the syringes are labelled and you see them out of the packet Rachel just had them all in un labelled syringes ready drawn up

This business is a scam and I fell for it. My filler is gone after 2 months. I had the appointment done on June 16, 2024 in Miami to fill in my hip dips with 200ml, The procedure was done at a location called Brickell Lashes, a non-sterile eyelash studio. The filler at first looked ok and I got excited. But after the swelling went away after 2 days, I got a bad reaction and had very hard large lumps and bruising to the point I could not wear tight clothes or swimsuits during the 2 months that it lasted. This was brutal in the Florida summer heat. Also one of the incision holes kept oozing blood and filler for 2 weeks, thankfully my Dr prescribed me antibiotics or I may have ended up in the hospital like the other woman. The whole things was painful (when it is advertised as pain free) with a long recovery similar to a surgery. I had to take painkillers and lie down on my stomach for 2 weeks. Could barely walk and could not sit for several weeks. Was instructed to not exercise for 6 weeks, which I followed. I feel like all of this should be disclosed upfront, not in the after-care. In addition, I specifically requested "Genefill Plus" filler. I paid the extra $1000 for this filler, total of around $3500 USD. When I was in the room I noticed the filler syringes laid out but were not branded with the Genefill logo like they were on their website. I asked about this and was told she receives the product in larger volumes from the manufacturer and re-distributes them to smaller generic syringes and that she would even send me the lot number. I followed up multiple times, was ignored and not given a lot number. I contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed they do not supply to this clinic or practitioner and sent me a list of doctors they do supply to (too late for that!). Therefore there is no difference between the "plus" and "contour" options they advertise. It is the same crap filler from god knows where. Furthermore, I found out that the UK tech is not licensed with Florida Department of Health. So she is performing these services illegally in the US since at minimum you have to be a registered nurse to administer filler. A complaint to US officials has been made. Derma Beauty Clinic also does NOT have a headquarters in Miami as advertised. SunBiz public records shows it was dissolved in 2023. Btw I am in a group chat with other women who had it done and all experienced the same 1-2 month results. Zero accountability and zero response to our email complaints. She also deleted our honest comments, is flagging negative reviews for removal and blocks us on Instagram. This was a complete waste of money and a health risk I will never do again. Also my behind is way worse after the filler dissolved. I'm lumpy with cellulite and more pronounced hip dips because the procedure disrupted my natural fat. I never had cellulite prior.

Absolutely terrible experience with this clinic.
I booked my appointment over a month in advance specifically to allow healing time before my engagement, yet my appointment was repeatedly changed and handled with extremely poor communication throughout.
The clinic first asked ME to rearrange my schedule from Friday to Thursday, which I did in good faith, changing work commitments, travel arrangements, and childcare plans. After confirming the new time, I received little to no communication and was left completely uncertain whether my appointment even existed.
I repeatedly attempted to contact the clinic via phone, Instagram, and email and was continuously left waiting without proper clarification or updates.
After all of this stress and inconvenience, I was then informed there was “no space available” and later told there were issues with the clinic premises and my appointment could no longer go ahead at all.
The entire situation caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, financial loss, and anxiety ahead of an important personal event.
I understand unforeseen issues can happen, but the organisation, professionalism, and communication from this clinic were honestly shocking considering clients plan their schedules and spend money around confirmed appointments booked well in advance.
Very disappointing experience and I would not recommend based on how poorly this was handled.

AN HONEST REVIEW FROM A RETURNING CUSTOMER!!

I first went to derma beauty clinic in 2021, I got hip dip filler - not a lot but it looked lovely and done the job. Every question I had for the team they answered very quickly (It was my first time getting filler so I was super scared)

Fast forward to 2026, I got 500ml of bum filler. As a girlie with a small bum I didn’t expect it to look humongous but Rachel created a lovely silhouette for me. I will return eventually for more projection but as of right now I’m so shocked at the shape she has created. Healing process has been great, again Rachel & Amber answer all my questions even during out of hours.

Defo want to get facial balancing too so I’ve decided that Rachel will be doing that also.

Despite the bad reviews I think people need to be very realistic and do their research before getting bum filler. A lot of things can cause your results to dissolve quickly etc and if you aren’t getting ALOT don’t expect your bum to look like a BBL. Just go and get a BBL.

My third session of liquid bbl to fix my surgical BBL results that I had 3 years ago that left me with uneven hips. I am so so happy it’s restored my confidence :) I can’t thank the team at derma beauty clinic enough!

I was extremely nervous about getting a liquid BBL but it was something I had been considering for years. I had consultations with several practitioners between surgical and none surgical before deciding to go with Derma Beauty. What made me feel particularly comfortable was that they used ultrasound during the procedure and included precautionary antibiotics in the service at no additional cost. Other practitioners I consulted with did not offer this which gave me greater confidence in their level of care.

I travelled 4 hours to have my treatment and it was totally worth it! Im extremely happy with my results 👏🏼 I was initially prepared to spend more but I was advised that spreading the treatment over a second session would give the best outcome. It was even more reassuring that they prioritise results and the wellbeing of their clients over money! I would 100% recommend them to everyone!

Today I had my appointment with nurse Raquel in Toronto, first of all she is very friendly and the clinic is beautiful, super clean and the nurses who work there are very kind, Raquel made me feel safe from the first moment, at first I was a little nervous, but after seeing the results I was shocked 💓 I look super natural as I expected, communication 10/10, I will be back soon in 1 month for 100 ml more 🤭 I recommend it 100%

I have been coming to Rachel since 2022, she is an absolutely fantastic practitioner who delivers real results. I am so happy with my results that I have been coming for a top up once a year. The top up is not necessary, it is just personal preference! I have had filler in my breasts and bum and have had fantastic results from both. I highly recommend anyone considering this treatment to go with Rachel, you get what you pay for, for a body treatment like this you need to go to a quality, experienced practitioner like Rachel.

Rachel made me feel welcome, at ease and like I could really trust her with my treatments. I love the results and Rachel explained everything in detail throughout. Would 100% recommend.

This place is not a safe place to go to. I am begging you to find a different clinic for your desired treatment. You will regret coming here, as good as the results look on instagram, this is not how the treat real people who are not influencers.

Amazing results! Exactly what i was looking for, Rachel made me feel warm and welcome despite me being scared beforehand and calmed all my fears. I would 100% recommend to anybody wondering!

Avoid at all costs.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience following training at Derma Beauty Clinic. After paying a considerable amount of money for what was advertised as professional training, I have received absolutely no ongoing support. Getting a response from them has been next to impossible – emails and calls are ignored, and there is no follow-up after the initial course.
Other reputable training providers in the industry offer lifetime support, including check-ins, refresher sessions, and opportunities for shadowing, which are invaluable when building skills and confidence. Derma Beauty, however, seem to take your payment and then wash their hands of you.

For such an expensive course, I expected far higher standards and a commitment to supporting students beyond the training day. Sadly, my experience has been the opposite.

I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a provider that values their students’ long-term success rather than just their money.

Unfortunately you are mistaken, I didn’t pay for a beginners class I paid for the masterclass and I have all the evidence to prove it. I have reached out to various channels for Derma Beauty over the past year and messages are not always missed, sometimes a holding response such as “I’ll get back to you in the morning” has been given but just never followed up. If you go back to my messages I have even offered to pay more money to learn from you, even though the money I have already paid for training covers the full masterclass experience.

I’m not really sure what my friend has to do with our training agreement, however as someone who is keen to develop in the industry and trusted you as reputable brand I not interested in how other practitioners treat their clients. It has nothing to do with us but thank you for the advice you gave.

If you are willing to resolve this I am more than happy to have a conversation as two professionals. I am being extremely reasonable here, and I hope you can do the same. You have my number. Thanks

I never left a review but I’m leaving it now since I’m surprised this practitioner is still active. I got a aqualyx with her back in 2019. After a couple hours of getting the procedure it did swell up as mentioned by the practitioner when discussing the after care which I took it as a normal part of the treatment. She mentioned the swelling would go down after a couple weeks. A month went by the swelling was increasing in size. I was getting severe pains and bruising around that area which kept getting worst. As time went by the swelling around that area hardened it felt like a large ball underneath my chin almost like a tumour which was extremely painfu. I didn't go outside for months due to this as it impacted my confidence drastically. After a couple months that area was still severely damaged due to the botched treatment. I didn’t see results from this treatment I did contact her many times regarding this issue her advice was unhelpful and recommended me to visit her again if I don’t see results for another session which I took her word for. It took me years to recover even till this day I still feel a tiny hard lump underneath my chin from the aftermath of the procedure.
