DFS Furniture - Cambridge Avis 

Shuh was very patient and helpful - this was our third visit Each time forgetting our tape measure!! But each time he got us one and answered all our questions. Before we signed up he went through everything thoroughly and with humour, which kept us relaxed. Excellent

Went into DFS Cambridge to buy a reclining sofa, came out with 2 reclining sofas & a coffee table.
Im the sort of man that if i walk into a shop to buy a big purchase the last thing i want is a salesman on my back hassling me, and if they do i walk straight out again, thankfully i didnt get this at dfs cambridge.
As i walked in i could see the salesman hovering and he just said to me, have a good look around and if u need any help i will be here, all good, he offered me a drink to which i kindly refused and said i might have one later.
so i had my daughter with me, and the mrs, the reason i took my daughter with me was because she bought a sofa from there about 4 months ago so she was there just to guide me.
I was looking for a recliner, plus im getting on in my age and i wanted something at the correct seat height.
After browsing all the shop and sitting on some of them (alot of sofas are very low these days, far to low for me) i narrowed it down to two sofas so then a lot of time was taking sitting on them and trying the reclining on them, and by this time the salesman who i now know his name is "ALI" approached us as he could tell we needed more information, so he offered us all drinks now, and we all accepted.
so after the drinks arrived (hot drinks) Ali started to give us all of his knowledge of the 2 sofas we could,nt decide on, and he most certainly knows his sofas, so in the end we decided on a nice 3 seater sofa with the 2 ends reclining, then we noticed that the 3 seater came in a package deal with a 2 seater sofa recliner at a very good price, two very nice sofas, firm, and the seat height was good for me to, so then it was onto a bit of wheeler dealing and there is always a deal to be had, so don,t be afraid to haggle.
So job done , all paid for, Ali did a fantastic job and it was a pleasure doing business with him, he certainly knows his stuff, he wasn,t pushy, he left me alone to browse, and he was there when i needed him, job well done Ali.
On leaving the shop my Mrs noticed a nice solid oak coffee table, she said oh thats nice, i carried on walking LOL, when we got outside my Mrs said to me oh can we have that coffee table, to which i replied, if u want it, you buy it, ive just bought 2 sofas at just over 2k, and she was hysterical, laughing her head off so much, at the time of this happening there was a lady getting into her car in the car park and she had seen this, and i believe this lady thought my Mrs was crying and we was having a row, but far from the truth, anyway this lady came over to us and asked if everything was alright, and i explained to her what had just happened, then she saw the funny side of it, she said she was the manager here and her name was "JANE", she then said to my Mrs if you want this coffee table im sure i can do a deal for u if u want it, so we all followed jane back into the store, my Mrs showed jane which coffee table it was, then jane went to find ALI and a deal was done on the coffee table for my Mrs which made her very happy, so its a big big thank you to Jane for making my Mrs day, she was really chuffed.

Great range and staff are super helpful and friendly.

The sales rep Gaz was absolutely wonderful, he was very patient and helpful. We visited 4 times before we made our final choice. He was very helpful and understanding and made things very easy for us. We was able to order and get out sofa quick as well. 12days wait

The team was welcome and offered a lot of help , the adviced me on bringing a floor plan and to do a bit of measurements on some areas so that they can help me get something that is perfect for my home. When I went back the second time with everything that they had requested as my lounge has a funny shape we sat down and played around with plan putting bits of the sofas to create the look I wanted. They were really patient with me and took time to explain everything .

Fantastic sofas to pick from but one stood out the most so we purchase it. So comfortable plus advantages of having a full double bed

We had a very positive experience purchasing a new sofa at DFS. There was a wide variety of options available, making it easy to find exactly what we wanted. Martin, our store assistant, was patient, friendly, and helpful throughout the process. Even down to refreshments. We would certainly return to DFS if we need additional furniture in the future.

Nice experience today. Very unpressured experience which used to put me off with sofa showrooms. The guy was really nice to chat to, literally no hard selling but his personality and information actually made my decision to buy rather than the usual ‘think about it’. Very pleasantly surprised. Oh, and well chuffed with the sofa and the price (Bought the Orca corner)
