Extremely poor and combative customer service. Do not order online items from them unless you want to be scammed out of your hard earned money. They are money hungry. I have been ordering from them for years but will not be returning as a customer. Find somewhere else to buy and secure your purchase with a peace of mind.

Dillards by The Galleria Houston Texas sales trash for overpriced amounts. It's sad when people have worked for an establishment for so long that they get comfortable and forget the purpose they were hired in the first place which is customer service not to become a form of oppression. In preparation of preparing to travel six hours for my mother's funeral my pure leather hand bag from Portland Leather strap broke and the only location I knew that I could get one immediately was Dillards who carries Patricia Nash leather bags. The day of purchase the associate that checked me out was only concerned about my form of payment cash or card,,,,, she didn't inspect the handbag and neither did I. I discovered the bag was not going to be accommodating as it appeared to be fake leather and was not large enough to carry all my necessary items. Long story short I took the bag back and the store manager Eddie; the same one who refused to refund the charges for the Aerotex shoes that developed a hole in one shoe but not the other appears and listens to all the peoples stories about the bag looking like it had been used. What it looked like could have been there when I purchased it being that no one cared to inspect it upon purchase. Yet four associates played a part in assumptions not to refund me my money clearly not concerned about the fact that they did not see the condition of this bag upon purchase to say it had been used. The associate asks for my contact information to have another manager to call me yet the police calls me instead asking for my location which is clearly a violation of my privacy rights. I never authorized her to share my contact details with the police. Employees will do anything to appear to be the greatest employee. Don't purchase any large priced items from this place unless you get a clear inner/overstand of their assumptions/not policy upon return. As far as policy goes I was in alignment with policy. I "assume" the associates get extra stipends by refusing to refund money exchange merchandise as this is the second that this has happened to me in less than six months.
I didn't like them not honoring a sale…
I didn't like them not honoring a sale price 4 days after purchase. I didn't call because it was the weekend. They're no Nordstrom that's for sure.
Never send a customer used products
I placed an order for a pair of sandals. Once l received my sandals in the mail. I opened the box and noticed when you get a pair of shoes that the tissue has been touched several times due to allowing customers to try the shoes on. So, disappointing how l was for Dillard's to send me a pair shoes that had been tried on over and over in your shoes. So, l called and explained to the young lady about it. She asked me would l like to return them and l said yes with a new part where the tissue paper has not been used. Of course, l received another pair l opened the box the same thing. By now l am truly upset. I called once and explained. Why would you think anyone would want a pair of shoes that you know that has been tried on many times with many feets. If l try on lipstick and buy some you wouldn't sale me the tester lipstick that would be so dissatisfied. I couldn't get no hotter than l already was. So, l told her l will return the shoes to the shoe.

TERRIBLE customer service. Bought an expensive free people shirt and it started unraveling at the hem. You can clearly see the mis-stitching. They refused to just even exchange the shirt. Buyer BEWARE. Check all stitching before buying. They do not back their products.

I don't think I'll buy anything from Dillards again. I made an online purchase of several items, but one of them didn't fit, so I returned it via postal mail. It's been 20 days and they haven't received the package. That's what they told me on my first call. I went to the postal mail to ask about my package and if they scanned it, but they didn't scan it when it was sent to where it was going, and the problem is mine. They don't plan on returning my money, and they did charge me $10 for the return label. Complete thieves, Dillards.

This is about Dillard's citicard call center. I had a Dillard's amex. Several months back, Dillard's sent a new mastercard to me and then proceeded to ruin my credit. This is was done by call center employees and their contacts in Tipton County Tn. This is what they did.
Issue a card that I didn't request
The card couldn't be activated. Call center didn't recognize that card number
Gang member in TC put a fraudulent charge on the card
The bill for this fraud was stolen by TC
Then my credit dinged
My credit was intentionally ruined by sending a card I didn't request that was never activated. Dillard's put a fraud charge on the card and then reported me for failure to pay.

The worse experience buying at the store at Carolina mall Dillars ordering my wedding suit took 2 weeks plus 3 weeks to get it and another week to fixed do not recommend this place plus the people who work at this place even worse seems like they own this place and they don want to work
Poor customer service
No semblance of customer service pertaining to an online order. They have lost a loyal customer. Petty, unhelpful and fraudulent. Charging for expedited shipping, website quoting different dates than customer service. Buyer beware. We will be shopping elsewhere for holiday clothes for our kids.
I had my short hair trimmed
I had my short hair trimmed, colored, and a few highlights added. The total cost was $250.00. This fee is outrageous for the services I received. I will never recommend nor return to your salon in Lexington,KY
Floor employees not interested in making sales.
I tried to buy foundation at the Dior counter. Plenty of sales people in the department milling around and gossiping. Finally got the attention of young man who tried to help, but they were out of product with no close in stock matches either. He did offer to order but I'm not interested in waiting 2 weeks, for a product I wanted now. I can get it overnight from Amazon with free shopping.This store has disappointed many times before. I live in Kirtland, but will continue to go out of my way to shop at Beachwood, Saks. The employees/management are not helping this store in Mentor to keep the doors open. Also, the outside of the entrance sidewalk is covered in goose droppings...it wouldn't take much to have the maintenance department hose this off each morning. Even Penney's does this. I don't think it will be long before we leave adios to Dillards.

Went into store to look and buy baby carriage. Placed order ($1700). Clerk (Martha) ordered wrong item. upon getting email, called and informed store. Was told by Nina, in cust service order cancelled, but wait for email with cancellation. Called 2 additional times, was told to wait. Now got confirmation that (cancelled order) shipped. Contacted by CC to stop payment. Would rate as 0 for customer service.

Ordered 3 pairs of the same shoe to see sizes. Tried to return two of them and they wont except the return, stating they are used. They are running a scam if they cant sell a product.
Never shopping with them again
Never shopping with them again. This is crazy. My family was sick for over a month. I printed a return for 2 dresses within days of receiving it. I accidentally didn't send it out until past the return window. They returned the dresses to me and will not give me a refund. So upsetting. I shop from Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus & Macy's all the time. Gave Dillard's a try and they are awful. If they care to fix this and do the right thing, the order number is 739524776. They were never worn and this is CLEAR because there is an attached ribbon that wraps around and through the entire dress.

Sandra in fragrance Lubbock
I'm a male lost in the fragrance department. Shopping for Christmas gifts. Ignored until Sandra approached. She made my tour so enjoyable I purchased far more perfumes than I had intended. It was an enjoyable experience. And I have returned several times after on the weekends. Sandra is truly a gift when dealing with customers. I'm a Dillard's fan now. I've stopped ordering now I purchase from Dillard's. You're blessed to have employees like Sandra in your Lubbock store. I just wanted to say thank for the great service. I had purchased a pair of compression…
I had purchased a pair of compression socks on 2/27 at the North Star mall for 18.00. I had realized there was a hole in them. I live near Rollings oaks mall so today i took them back with the original receipt to customer service and was told by a woman mgr., African American woman in her 30's with long nails, she questioned me because I didnt have the original tags on the socks. I said I have the original receipt. She was annoyed with me as she was interrupted to help me. This woman told me i needed to return these socks to North Star Mall, as I had purchased them there. She was not nice and need s to work on her customer service skills. I will not be going back to that Dilliards again. This was at 1:00pm today.
