Do not shop at Willow Bend Dillard's…

Do not shop at Willow Bend Dillard's Plano Texas. They will lie to you. The sales representative told me that there will be a discount of 10%. I bought $500 worth of stuffs and there was no discount. She did not scan the coupon that goes with the temporary credit card. I have closed my account and do not ever want to shop here again. The sales rep did not know anything about the product and she will lie to you in so many ways from the free gifts to the discount of opening of a credit card. All she did was trying to push you to buy the products. Too bad, I would buy another $1000 worth of merchandises.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Managers have no power to override a system error. We had a daily shopping pass for 10% off. The system would not take it. Their only solution was to have us call card services tomorrow and come back the next day to get items that they would put on hold. The entire crew up wasted 2 hours of my time. I will never shop at dillards again!

Received used merchandise

Bought glasses online , they were used one of arms were loose and bent .. and came out of case with dust all on them .. could have been a display pair … do not buy from Dillard’s they’ve been getting a lot of backlash for a reason . Returned immediately waiting for a refund !

Dilliards will make return exceptions for the holidays but not for a past customer that’s a cancer patient.

I have ordered from Dilliards multiple times for my son. I ordered a pair of Steve Madden Loafers for homecoming, once I realized they were not going to arrive in time (as I later found out they were being shipped directly from Steve Madden, not Dilliards, I placed a separate order directly with Steve Madden and got my shoes well before the ones from Dilliards arrived. I contacted Dilliards when I saw that they still hadn’t shipped, to cancel the order. I was told that even though they weren’t shipped yet, since they were coming from the manufacturer then I would have to wait until I received them and then return them. I am a breast cancer patient, finding the time and energy to drive 20 minutes into town to make a return is not easy for me. The shoes did eventually arrive, later than planned, and we already had a different pair of shoes so the box got set down in another room and forgotten about as I have been very busy driving an hour every day for radiation treatments plus I have major brain fog. I am having a better day today and remembered the shoes and tried to make a return. I was told that despite everything, it falls outside of their strict 30 day return policy and there is nothing they can do. I spoke with 3 different people today and they all stated the same. They are willing to make exceptions over the holidays and extend their return policy to 60 days, but not willing for a loyal customer that is battling cancer. This is such a disgusting disgrace and Dilliards should be ashamed of themself. They will never get my business again and I really hope that anyone reading this that is, has, or knows someone that’s going through cancer, doesn’t do business with them either.

Avoid Dillards at all cost

I bought a pair of UGG two weeks ago at Dillards in store. I just went to wear them today and walked about 50 feet when the strap broke. So I packaged them back up and took them into the store to exchange. I was told because I had them on my feet ,they were unable to exchange or return them. And there was nothing they could do. I paid $150 for shoes that unable to wear. They told me to contact ugg.com. Which I did. They told me since it was a third-party that they were unable to help me as well… So I told the lady that works at Dillards to please try to help me since she could tell that I did not wear these but a few minutes. She absolutely would do nothing for me… So I have $150 pair of shoes that have a strap broke that’s barely worn and I have to throw them away. …. we are faithful customers to dealers, but we no longer will be. And I hope this reaches a lot of people. Buyer beware… If you put the shoes on your feet to try them on or walk around she said they can never be returned no matter how damaged they are. …,

Never shipped the item for which I was charged a hefty amount

Never shipped the item for which I was charged 658.52 Euros. When presented with the facts - that the package weighs less than it should weigh with the missing item inside their customer support service effectively told me to take a hike and start dispute via card company. I was not prepared to receive such a treatment from the department store I used to shop at and liked. Very sad how things have been deteriorating in once successful US corporation.

I purchased a pair of womens Donald…

I purchased a pair of womens Donald Pliner shoes on 11/1/2024 at 6pm. I quickly tried the Drew pump on, as I have the Drew pump in navy but sizes can vary from shoe to shoe.

Neither I nor the sales woman looked at the bottom of the shoes, Why would I? As my experience has been that they check the bottom of the shoes as you purchase it, to see if the sizes match, and if there is any signs of wear on the soles of the shoes.

Much to my surprise, when I opened the shoe box and looked at the bottom of the shoe the next day ( not even 24hrs later) I noticed that the shoes had definitely been worn!!!

I went back to the Post Oak / Houston Galleria location ( where I purchased them) and handed them the shoes in the box, with the receipt and told them why I was returning them…as it was rather obvious that someone had worn them,

Well, the young guy at the register stated that “ they are worn and you will need to get a due bill/ gift card? “

For what? I am not taking a gift card for something that I never had on my feet except for trying them on in the store. It was their problem for not checking the shoes before they allowed the previous client to return them.
There was a receipt from another client in the shoebox-complete with credit card information
This went to the Shoe Department Manager, assistant Store manager as well as the actual store Manager.
Although the actual word “ lying” was never said directly to me… this was their assumption. The assistant manager actually asked me “ Why did I not look at the bottom of the shoes before I purchased them?

Because THAT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY!
Talk about trying to lay the blame on the client for the shortcomings of your employees.

Long story short I called Chase Credit Services on the spot- to start the process of getting this removed from my card. He actually overheard some of the conversations with said managers, and he was rather surprised

No, I will never shop @any Dillard’s again. Nordstrom, Macy’s and a host of our retailers try their best to work with you, but not Dillards.

My name nihad yacoub I bought a shoe Clark’s brand for comfort in 9/29/24 to take with me in my trip to turkey I wear it one day all day start pealing I put it in my luggage to bring back I came back 2 week’s ago I went to Dillard’s
To take it back the assistant maneger was very rude resisted to take it back I have the recipe then I told her I need the corporate number I talk to them they said to go back and talk to the manager Avery day I go they say he is not there the place in wiregrass mall in Tampa Florida I went back again they said they can’t tell me when he be there but they will send him e mail I had the worst experience ever no matter what I called Clark they say dillards should take it back and contact Clark’s

Worst return policy that I ever…

Worst return policy that I have ever heard and no signs in the store told that one has only 3 days to return clearance items. 3 DAYS!! Even if the item is in the same condition and still has tags and has never been worn. Seriously? I will never buy shoes from Dillard's again. Also, the formal dresses are made to fit women who are 6-feet-tall (which is less than 2 percent of the female population). Either they are making all their dresses for dudes now or the makers don't know how to use a tape measure. Petite dresses might fit a woman who is 5'8" but definitely not a woman who is under...should fit women 5'2" and under.

THIS DESERVES 000 STARS…

This would absolutely be a huge zero stars if it were allowed.

To William Dillard CEO: you should absolutely be reading these reviews of an amazing store that once was…….

I ordered school clothes for my daughter and received three out of the four outfits. I never received the other items.
However, the packages show in an email that they were delivered. I spoke to a customer service representative and was told that they can’t resend me the product or give me a refund because it’s past the allotted time. Since their records show that it was delivered they are completely washing their hands of it and telling me to go to the credit card company and have them refund me. I told the manager that I wasn’t going to have my credit card company refund me when it was Dillards mistake. I am sure that they have resold what they said they sent to me plus stole my money!!!!!!!!! This is really unacceptable customer service - the worst I have encountered ever! It should actually be called customer DISSERVICE Because they weren’t helpful at all, and they are literally thieves, stealing my money and others as well as you can see in other reviews.
I have been a patient and loyal customer of Dillards. This was the last time I will ever Give them a penny of my money. I Will never ever shop there again and I suggest if you’re reading this heed my warning. There are so many other amazing stores out there to give a try. After this message is done I am making any communication from Dillards go into my spam file.

Rude customer service & doesn’t honor business hours

Reviewing Dillards store in the Woodlands, Texas.

I Walked in the first set of doors at 753pm to make a quick return and there was an employee that was locking the bottom of door next to me and she said they were "closed." I showed her the time of 753 on my phone and told her it was not 8pm yet. She looked awkward and caught off guard that I brought up this fact, and she said "we are closing now." So I said, "ok so you close BEFORE 8pm." She yammered on about having to lock the door and avoided what I said. It was obvious that she was in a rush to get out of there.
What's unfortunate is that my whole transaction would've taken less than five minutes and I would've been out of the store before their closing time. It's a shame how poor Dillard's customer service has become. Disappointing that the store does not honor its operating hours that are advertised. Management:
She was a thin, older-looking woman with frizzy brunette hair and heavy makeup and it was at the entrance next to JCPenny. I hope you check the cameras and timing to verify this interaction. I'd give zero stars if I could. Instead of returning one item, I will be returning my entire purchase.

Dont know what they sell

I thought bought medium width of a birkenstock since right under description says medium width right under the shoe. Sent narrow in description talks about foot bed being narrow which birekenstocks are. They sent me narrow width. As people who buy birkenstocks we know they come in two widths dilliards doesnt since sent me narrow I have to now pay for return shipping on their mistake. Wont buy from dilliards again

Love Dillards

Love Dillards. It has been my go to store for years and I have been an elite card holder until Citi bought Wells Fargo. Please note that Citi is owned by the Saudies. I own a cannabis company. All of our money is run through Green Check then placed in our business account with Regent Back. Never has money been sent to my Dillards credit card from this business account. Dillards credit has always been paid out of my personal bank account. I receive social securtiy and teacher retirement. But the saudies, who are as unamerican as you can get has canceled my Dilliards credit card. Citi is owned by SAUDI ARABIA!!!!

Missing package - worst customer service

I ordered some items from Dillards as a gift for a friend birthday. But I never received the items - the packages show delivered though. I spoke to someone on their chat and was told that they will look into this and will get back to me in 2-3 days. Today, I received an email that they cannot offer any exchange/refund since their records show that it was delivered. I again went on the chat but the person was so rude that instead of being understanding, simply said the same thing and then ended the chat. This is really unacceptable customer service - the worst I have encountered ever. I have been a loyal customer of Dillards, but with this attitude I am not buying with you in future, ever.

Worst on-line shopping experience

Dillards has gone from the store I liked best to the store I dislike the most. They cancel on-line orders just because they can - because they did not like me buying 2 items and not one, I am guessing.The customer service said they fixed it but my next order was cancelled again. I think Dillards is moving downwards very fast; I think they have been successful for too long (thanks to customers like me too) and got lost touch with reality. They will get what they deserve.

Ridiculous shipping fees

Stay away from Dillard's.com if you are an online shopper. They charge ridiculous shipping fees. There is no exchange policy so if you need to return you are charged ANOTHER $9.95 to return and if you need to return so you can get a different size, you will be charged a 3rd time of $9.95. It cost me $29.85 to get the correct size of a pair of shoes that were on sale for $39.99. If I would have been able to order off any other site I would have. I will never order again from Dillard's and customer service was very rude on the phone.

Disappointing Customer Service

I had an extremely disappointing experience with their customer service chat. The agent, who eventually identified themselves as Alexandra, was unhelpful and curt in their responses. They were reluctant to provide their name and informed me that there was no option to escalate my concerns to a supervisor. I rarely write reviews, but after this experience, I feel compelled to share my frustration. I will not be shopping here again and want to warn others to reconsider as well.

Applied online for a credit card

Applied online for a credit card. Got it approved. Was even given an account number and said I could start shopping online today. Good thing I didn't because, 3 days later I get a PDF saying Welcome to Dillards your card is on the way. THEN the very next line under it said...I was declined for a host of reasons I already knew about. I'm rebuilding my credit after bankruptcy and I've got American Express plus 2 other credit cards totally $10,000. But Dillard's said Yes then said No. What a crock of poop. No matter how high my credit score eventually gets, I'll never buy nor go in a Dillard's store again.

This place is horrible !!

I ordered a designer bag from there. it took 9 days to come. fedex delivered it, the driver didn't put the package near the door he put it on middle of the stairs and my package got stolen. because they delivered to the correct address they are not responsible for the missing package. im out on the purse and the money
