We booked Direct Window Tinting UK LTD to suggest ways of cooling our conservatory and limiting the UV damage to the floor and furniture. David Ottaway explained and demonstrated the product in a straightforward and zero pressure way. We settled on film for the glass roof and a different type of film for the side windows to further reduce UV and also increase privacy.

Having gone ahead and booked the installation. The fitters arrived and were very professional and polite. The difference, as the film was installed was amazing, however it quickly became clear to us that our selection for the side windows was likely going to be too dark. This was discussed with David Ottaway, who could not have been more helpful. A further date was booked to complete the order with a lighter material.

In short, the transformation has delivered exactly what we wanted. The conservatory is now usable on even the hottest of days, without being darkened too much by the tinted film. The side windows now have the desired level of privacy when viewed from the outside. but from the inside any tinting is barely noticeable. The UV blocking is so good that even a UV powered ornamental light will not charge.

Very satisfied. We are planning to have other southwest facing windows fitted with anti-UV film, and have recommended this company to others already.

Direct window tinting have done an excellent job tinting the 5 rear windows of my Mercedes coupe. I’m really chuffed with the results. Definitely recommend, great job guys.

We had Direct window tinting in to tint our conservatory roof and WOW what a difference its made for the better. We have a South facing glass roofed conservatory and during the summer it's virtually unusable due to being too bright and too hot. We had the darkest tint fitted and that's changed everything. We've had some really sunny days already to test it out and it's fantastic. Perfect temperature now and no need for sunglasses indoors either. Much better than blinds and half the price at least! The team were great from start to finish, very professional but friendly with it. Blinds are definitely a thing of the past, they break, discolour, get covered in dust and bugs and are time consuming. Highly recommend Direct Window Tinting.

The job was to fit all round Llumar ceramic tinting to a 1997 VW T4 Trooper camper van. This job had already been turned down by another suppler/fitter because the inside of the vehicle is upholstered and initial efforts had been a failure. This was explained to DWT but they said that this would not be a problem, and it wasn’t. Super job. Improves look of vehicle. Will cut down on UV rays and reduce heat in a vehicle that is without climate control. This work was carried out in the second lockdown of Covid with consideration and care to me the client and to their staff. Communications excellent from both Michelle (FOH) and David (CD). Listened to my requirements and fitted in with my needs. Thank you.

A brilliant solution to reducing heat & glare in our conservatory, A fraction of the cost of blinds, they don’t trap dust & guarantee is longer. Dave & his team couldn’t be more helpful. A pleasure to do business with them.

What better way to write a review, than to say that all the other reviews are accurate. The team turned up at the appointed time and were very industrious, helpful, professional and polite. We've just had the first real test today (23rd July 2020). The outside temperature was 28 degrees and the conservatory was very comfortable to sit in. I should add, that we had one door open and three small fanlight type windows open. We would usually have all the windows open! And, none of the blinds were closed!!!
This stuff really works. That coupled with a very competitive price, is all you need to know.

The above content was sent to Direct Window Tinting after the film had been applied. Now 5 months on, the tint is functioning well. It has been warmer during the winter months and on sunnier days a very pleasant place to sit. As the days are drawing out, the sun increases in strength and rises in the sky, our conservatory has become a much more comfortable place to relax and entertain in without suffering the intense glare that we had before. We wish we had had this done years ago!
To have this work done, the cost was minimal when compaired to the prices quoted for a roof replacement.

Took my Toyota to Norwich to have the rear windows fitted with tint. I sat in the comfortable waiting area and they even brought me a cup of tea.
