There is absolutely nothing wrong with the bed itself but the delivery of it is another matter. It was ordered well before Xmas on the understanding of a delivery well before the 25th Dec. However, it was a real struggle and took several telephone calls before this actually happened. The first communication I had was to say that delivery was likely to be early Jan 2026 which was completely unacceptable - and not as initially promised. The bed did arrive just before Xmas but it was touch and go and quite stressful. The whole experience detracted from the divan itself which is absolutely fine so far.

I’m sorry that the delivery communication caused stress, particularly so close to Christmas. I’d like to clarify, in a general sense, what happened. The delivery company used is a separate organisation, and unfortunately some of the information given by their customer service team was incorrect, which understandably led to confusion.
When you spoke to us directly, we immediately looked into it, clarified the situation, and ensured the delivery was arranged before Christmas, as originally intended. We’re glad we were able to resolve this promptly once it was brought to our attention.

Would give them zero stars if I could
Would give them zero stars if I could. Headboard arrived broken, no help, if anything blamed me for it. Complete waste of time and money. Don't bother.
Edit since below response: their reply shows that they do not even listen. Such a shame. Numerous times I have said that the item was not delivered damaged, yet they still haven’t managed to understand that! Would be great if customer service actually provided customer service.

When the concern was first raised, it was reported over a week after delivery and the item had been signed for as received without damage. To understand what had happened and offer the correct support, we requested images on several occasions, as this is a necessary step in any damage assessment.
Limited images were later provided, which did not indicate delivery damage, making it difficult to determine the cause or the appropriate resolution at that stage. At no point was blame assigned — only an explanation of what information was needed in order to help.
That said, we do want to resolve this. We’ll be reaching out directly to see what further assistance we can offer and to move this forward properly.

Once again, very sturdy and well-made furniture from Divan Base Direct, with great customer service.
We have been using their ottoman beds for six years and they still look brand new. We recently purchased a matching ottoman storage unit, and it fits perfectly with the set.

Ordering was easy and straight forward
Ordering was easy and straight forward, but the delivery company they use is a joke, they are rude and don't listen to you, then they hang up on you when you catch them in a lie. Speak to divan base customers services and they say they will see what they can do and will get back to you, but don't. Once again the excuse is that it's a busy time. With regard to the bed it's self it as only just been delivered so haven't used it yet, but they sent the review request days ago.

We’re pleased to hear ordering was straightforward. Regarding delivery, Furdeco is a third-party logistics partner and while we don’t control their call handling, we do work closely with them to coordinate deliveries and resolve queries. Where availability requests fall outside of their operating days, we always explain this and offer the closest possible alternatives.
Our customer service team responded to all correspondence and continued to liaise with the courier throughout. During the week leading up to Christmas, delivery networks are under exceptional pressure, but our focus remains on clear communication and getting orders delivered successfully, which was achieved here.
The bed has only recently been delivered, so we hope once it’s been used it proves to meet expectations. Should any assistance be needed at any stage, our team remains available to help.

I had to change delivery dates twice
I had to change delivery dates twice. It was easy to contact the company, who passed on the message to the couriers. It was delivered at the agreed time and as it was a heavy piece of furniture, they put it in situ for me. Very polite helpful young men.
I'm really pleased with the item (a large ottoman). Its good quality and exactly as described in the advert.
Very good company to deal with.

The fixings are normally included as standard, however on very rare occasions they can be missed during packing. When that happens, we always send them out immediately via First Class Royal Mail, so they arrive the next working day.
In terms of packaging, we use a high-grade polythene wrapping which is designed to protect the product during transit and is something we don’t have issues with. Some customers do request additional packaging at the point of order, particularly if the item is going into storage, and we’re always happy to accommodate that where needed.

The whole process of ordering and delivery is very easy and the product was carried right to bedroom by the delivery guys. I have three kingsize beds!
I now have three kingsize beds from Divan Base Direct and they work very well for us. One is for our own guest room and the other two in our Airbnb. Because they can be split into twin beds, this allows the flexibility required for guests.
I’ve got three different mattresses and they are all comfortable and have lasted well. I can highly recommend these beds, we're super happy with them.

Great Company
I had not used this Company before but the reviews looked good so hoped for the best. I was not disappointed, good selection of mattresses at all price points. The mattress I chose was in production so I had to wait a little while but the customer service team kept me updated. When the mattress was required urgently as granddaughter coming home sooner than expected they pulled out all the stops and organised for it to be delivered in time. Granddaughter says she has had the best nights sleep ever, so well done everyone.

Excellent purchase.
I purchased the Almalfi headboard king size divan bed
This is the first time I have bought a bed on line and was slightly anxious about the quality.
Delivery was swift and communication excellent.
The item was well packaged and fairly easy to do.It took 2 of us 90 mins .
Do study the instructions before starting.
Once assembled it is a sturdy frame and the headboard is really nice and feels v plush.
I am very impressed with this product for the price and recommend it.

Absolutely made up with this ottoman. Regular updates on arrival, including half hour out check. It is solid and sturdy and the velvet outside is lush and right colour. Really happy.

Good Company - what out for the delivery drivers though
I've got no complaints about the company and the value of the bed I bought. The price was extremely reasonable and the ordering process was easy. The selection of goods was very good as well. Delivery time was good too and I didn't have to wait too long. I do however need to have a moan about the delivery guys.
I ordered a Divan Bed Base which came in 2 halves and one of the delivery driver tried to lift one of the bed bases by himself put in on his shoulder and then proceeded to drop it. I saw this happen from the window and when I mentioned it to the driver he made out he didn't understand me, he couldn't speak English. Luckily the base wasn't damaged too much only a slight dent and I had to take it as I had got rid of my old one. So maybe the company need to review who they use for deliveries
