Dobbies Garden Centres - Hare Hatch Avis 193

Excellent service we received after a online error meant we weren’t booked for our afternoon tea, but the staff and the manager apologised for the issues and gave us lunch and coffee as a goodwill gesture and really made us feel appreciated, also we were still able to have our afternoon tea the next day.
We would like to pass on our thanks to the manager and his staff.

My wife and I went to Dobbies in White Waltham for breakfast and were disappointed to find that there was no pedestrian access to the shop, only for cars. Since we travel to the store by bus, this is very inconvenient. When I asked store managers why there was no pedestrian access at the Hare Hatch end of the store, I was given short shrift. The experience made me feel very unwelcome. A very poor customer experience.

great choice, good value

I was able to get some vegetable plants and some nice flower plants for containers.

We went to the coffee shop. And walked around the shop looking at the food hall and the clothes area.

Long queues in the cafe & very slow service. Would not bother to come here again. Nothing in the garden centre of any interest. Apart from Cotton Traders it needs more concessions to make it more interesting & a proper shopping experience.

Yet again NO MARSHMALLOWS for Hot chocolate.

As usual numerous buckets throughout garden centre doe to leaking roof…….a problem for many years!!!

Friendly, helpful staff. The garden centre is well stocked with lovely selection of plants and accessories.

We had a good shop and found reductions on lots of items which is always pleasing , a great selection of plants and seeds ready for spring

Popped to Dobbies for fish and chips, had a lovely meal, quiet as nearing end of hot food service, free coffee with Dobbies Card. Purchased some clearance Christmas items also :)

Wide range of products, including cards, books, and toys. Good service and helpful staff.

Always a good experience, however we find the Cirencester and Ashchurch garden centres are “The Best”

something for everyone, gardener or not...

Walking in to the garden centre the entrance was clean and tidy, got greeted by a team member when I went in ,a lovely selection of house plants to choose from which was great,
went to restaurant for 1 if my free drinks ,didn't wait long got served by a very friendly member of staff, think her name was caroline ,plenty of cake to choose from to go with my coffee ,great service with a smile.
After coffee had a look round the centre,loads of lovely things to pick from.went to pay a small queue but cashier called for someone to open another straight away, excellent service, a young girl served me ,was friendly and helpful. Made my visit a very enjoyable one ,definitely one of my favourite centres, one happy customer

Cafe experience was again not great. Staff are lovely but maybe need more people on as it is very slow- in fact I walked away from a queue and then decided to give it another go as I had time to wait. This is not a one off unfortunately. The coffee was lovely when I got it but it puts me off going due to how slow it all is.
