Dobbies Garden Centres - Richmond Avis 6

I post review not long along and it has been flagged from Dobbies.
I had terrible experience from Dobbies Richmond store. I got confronted by a manager telling me “don’t talk to anyone of my staff” this was regards having conversation 2 months ago with the staff while shopping. Basically since I thought the young lady is lovely I asked her if she wants hours or you know anyone. She took my number, end off. 2 months later I got this an experienced and unprofessional manager talking to me like personal attack on the shop floor, front of staff members and customers. This woman so called manager think she has the right or entitled how I should speak. Absolutely disgusting, unprofessional and humiliating of her actions. Made complaints and customer service sided on their employee that they have a right to treat customer by embarrassing and humiliating in public. I asked to put my complaint to their HR or director, unfortunately she dealt with it her self who’s from customer service, definitely unprofessional. She sided and claimed it wasn’t true, she believed the manager dealt with me in a manner and nobody’s was around. And when I said is completely a lie, look at your camera and I know there names because I have called another branch. The customer service completely ignored my complaint and flagged me instead. I got the Chiswick manager apologising for her stupidity act. She her self knows just a normal conversation. Where’s the act and policy how customers should and should not speak? It’s the other way round. The manager definitely unprofessional and doesn’t know the policy’s and binders of the company, nether the staff from customer service need more further training and how not to keep complaints from their director or HR. Terrible experienced from an experienced and an professional staff. Now they flagging my rights to complain. Terrible company to deal with. I can’t believed the manager lied and the customer service siding rather do fully investigation. I my self as a manager know how to treat and customers rights and complaints. Dobbies has no structure when is comes to staff bad behaviour and and complaints.

Fantastic service at our little dobbies in Richmond and the plants are really healthy. Love popping into the store.

This is a gem in Richmond with indoor plants and all the gear and books to look after them.

Sherry was particularly helpful in offering a coffee from the in-store coffee machine as part of my membership.

I often call into the store to look at the lovely plants and flowers , and buy one of course! The staff are always so very professional helpful and pleasant , I joined the dobbies rewards program and realise it’s such a great deal two coffees a month ! Matt and the lady who works with him are a credit to the company that always make you feel welcome.
The shop brings an oasis of calm to the busy Richmond shopping area.
