We had a wonderful trip to Australia and New Zealand- all orchestrated by Laura Tober and her team at Downunder Endeavors.

I’m not an amateur traveling guy. I travel all
the time. But this kind of trip- I figured I could use some help- and I’m sure glad I did!

First- the trip was amazing. Every tour, every transportation arranged, accommodations- literally every single thing that was arranged by Laura- was executed perfectly. No waiting around- no one not knowing who we were- it was truly executed flawlessly.

Second- Downunder Endeavors- Laura Tober was our agent. Laura is a 7 out 5 stars. She was friendly, fun, she listened, she was knowledgeable- she responded to my questions while SHE was on vacation. I can’t say enough good things.

If you’re going DownUnder- use these guys!

We worked with Down Under Endeavours, specifically Laura Tober, to plan our honeymoon trip to Australia and New Zealand. Both the overall experience and working with Laura specifically were 5 stars.

We began the process by briefly chatting with Laura to describe our interests, budget, and timeline. She came back to us quickly with an itinerary with recommended places to visit and activities based on her personal experiences. After 2 rounds of edits, we finalized everything. She took care of booking flights, hotels, activities, and visas, then packaged everything nicely into a detailed itinerary.

Laura was always available to answer our questions and concerns - either by email or phone. We enjoyed all of the hotels and activities recommended by Laura, and appreciated the individualized touches that she included.

The only negative with regard to the process (and no fault of Laura's) was that we were unable to see a breakdown of the costs for each activity/hotel/etc, we only received a total cost. So it was sometimes difficult for us to choose between different options without knowing the difference in cost.

DUE is simply the best! We worked with Laura to create an unforgettable honeymoon. The process was so easy. We had an introduction call about the places we were interested in (Australia, New Zealand, and French Polynesian). Laura made the suggestion to go to Moorea, which we hadn’t consider, but her expertise paid off! It is a stunning island! Like most people, we consider planning it on our own, however, our trip would not have been a fraction of the experience it was if it weren’t for Laura. They provided us with a full detailed itinerary (25 days worth), we discussed a few changes and like magic our honeymoon was set! Easy as blinking for us and Laura and the DUE team booked and planned it all!

What we love about DUE is that they themselves have gone to the places and done the excursions that they are recommending. This makes a huge difference to ensure their clients have a once in a life time (though we hope to go again!) experience. They understand the flow and timing of a trip and how to get a mix of adventure, relaxation or whatever you’re seeking. They also have local contacts to ensure if something changes, that the process to adjust your itinerary goes seemlessly; we had a flight cancellation from Hamilton Island to Sydney due to weather. We found out at 9a and by 11a, Laura and the local contact had managed to get us booked on a new flight the next day, we were able to stay in the same hotel room so we didn’t have to bother moving and were back on the beach enjoying the day. Their services are unmatched.

People keep asking our favorite part of the trip and it’s nearly impossible to choose because every part of it was spectacular in it’s own right. If allowed, we would give them double the stars! You will not be disappointed with DUE- ask for Laura!!!

On a whim, I decided to book a trip to New Zealand to see a performance by Childish Gambino. I knew I wanted to spend two weeks sightseeing, and that I didn't want to drive. After a few weeks of trying to figure out how I would get around and how to best maximize my time in the country, I realized what I needed was an expert. A friend planning her New Zealand honeymoon recommended Down Under Endeavors, and I can't thank her enough. My travel specialist, Katie, did an amazing job arranging every last detail for me, including recommending where the concert should fall during my journey (the end), mapping out what areas to visit, creating a jam-packed itinerary and making sure I had vegetarian meals during excursions and on my flights. Every tour Katie selected for me was perfect, and she was there to answer every question I had leading up to my vacation. I'm normally a pretty independent traveler, but I cannot imagine trying to plan a trip of this scope on my own. Down Under Endeavours made everything so easy, and I'm extremely grateful. I will definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anybody else planning a vacation.

Audra took time to listen to what we wanted in our dream trip to New Zealand and made it come true. Each stop along the way was perfectly timed for us to enjoy the beauty and everything NZ has to offer. Thank you for making this birthday trip one we will never forget.

Fabulous trip.
We traveled soooo far, and we didn’t want to miss anything. Believe me, we not only saw all the “must sees”, but the type of tours we went on were the best available, .... tours that we NEVER would have found on our own. Yes, we didn’t just visit, we truly experienced Australia and New Zealand!

I am so thrilled with our decision to book with Laura and Down Under Endeavors. The amount of time Laura saved us is seriously incredible. I will be the first to admit that I am pretty picky about planning. I am totally the planner of the family-- all of our vacations, holidays, even our grocery lists are meticulously detailed. But when it came time to planning our 12-day honeymoon in New Zealand, I was totally overwhelmed by the options, especially since I was already in the midst of wedding planning. I talked to Laura and she gave us some awesome ideas on things we can do that we hadn't even thought of or heard about, even after days of research on our own. She knew all the best places to stay and she organized all of the details and logistics with almost zero effort required on our part. I think one of the things I loved most though, is that when I would ask for her suggestions, I knew I was getting a totally honest response. I really trust that she wouldn't recommend something she didn't have firsthand knowledge of being worth the cost. The value of Down Under Endeavors cannot be overstated. From reviewing our itinerary, I know we got a great deal on what was booked, and the amount of time that was saved is more than worth the very minimal fees. We also got a great price on travel insurance thanks to them. While we just planned an expensive trip of a lifetime and won't be in the market for another vacation any time soon, I know when it's time for another one, I'll contact Laura again in a heartbeat!

This was our second trip to Australia planned by Down Under Endeavours. This time was with our 10 and 14 year old children.

Corinne and her friendly team met with us several times to learn our interests and plan our two-week trip. Throughout the planning process, they kept us informed and helped us weigh many options until we locked in our ideal itinerary. Prior to our vacation, we received step-by-step plans for each day of our trip. As we were traveling, they provided us contact information for a local agent in case we had any issues.

Our vacation was amazing! We spent about 1 week in Tasmania and had lots of up close encounters with very rare animals. We even got to feed kangaroos in the wild and hug a wombat! Hamilton Island was a beautiful and relaxing vacation spot. Our children still talk about it! Snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef was so much fun. Our last stop in Sydney was awesome as we climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge and toured the Sydney Opera House.

Down Under Endeavours planned an amazing family vacation that we will never forget. We plan to work with them again on a trip to Africa one day.

She found hotels and excursions we would not have been able to research on our own. She planed out all travel and timing - which was a lifesaver! Katie was great. She was patient as I changed the itinerary and always helpful. She knew the location and attractions. She helped with our flights and transfers and even helped us find great restaurants. I loved how well she matched our trip to our particular tastes. Best trip ever!

If I could give Down Under Endeavours 6 stars I would, they are truly an outstanding travel agency. The moment Sarah and I contacted the team at Down Under Endeavours they were outstanding. One of the many things that Sarah and I really appreciated was they really go above and beyond in everything they do and also pay attention to all the small details. After consulting Corinne and Doug on where we should take our honeymoon, we decided on Fiji. They were a wealth on knowledge and helped us choose the perfect resorts. One was in a rainforest and the other in an over the water hut. They took time out of their busy schedule to make sure all of our questions and concerns were answered, they contacted us a week before our trip to make sure we were fully prepared and had everything we needed. The whole process was smooth and flawless. I highly recommend Down Under Endeavours and will be using them again!

Katie and the team at Discover Under Endeavours did a fabulous job planning our trip. We made plans last minute and everything went so smoothly. We as a family of 4 had a trip of a lifetime. From the sea to rain forests and deserts to mountains, we saw it all! It was planned perfectly at a good pace and not too overwhelming. We spent two weeks and it was just right. We ended up working with Down Under Endeavors based on their great reviews. So we are gladly writing this review for the next people! We never used a “travel agency” before so we weren’t entirely sure what to expect and, because of that, we had plenty of questions about the process, payments, bookings, etc. Laura was extremely helpful and answered every question we had in a timely fashion and when we were feeling overwhelmed, we set up an in-person appointment where she helped us finalize our plan. She has been to New Zealand a couple times herself and her suggestions and experience helped us make our decisions. She was also patient with us as we sorted out how best to use the credit card points we had accumulated. The whole process is pressure-free — which is especially important when planning a huge trip like this! We can’t wait for our New Zealand adventure in a couple months!

My husband and I had an incredible experience working with Katie at Down Under Endeavors. We went to Australia and New Zealand for our honeymoon in August 2018. Everything was perfectly planned, and our input was taken into consideration every step of the way.
