Down Under Endeavours Avis 

We loved our trip and partnering with Candice at DUE. Our trip was totally customized to exactly what we wanted to do and we had a lovely once in a lifetime trip.

We had a couple of delayed flights which honestly would have been very stressful without the help of DUE and their local affiliates. That help and concierge service alone put us at ease.

The best thing I could say is that we would without hesitation travel again with DUE and I’ve already recommended them to other couples.

Overall excellent. All accommodations but one were superb. Glad to have done Franz Josef Glacier helicopter trip, but no need to have spent two nights there. Trans Alpine train was disappointing. Would have appreciated warning on road closure for drive to Kaikoura. Kaikoura Whale Watch was disappointing.

Azur and Hakupu Lodges were lovely. Wilderness Lodge was a fantastic experience. Four wheel drive in Queenstown and Dolphin Cruise in Kaikoura were excellent.

Laura was super helpful booking our trip to Australia and New Zealand. We came to her a month before we were planning to leave without having booked flights or hotels, and she quickly worked to get us set up. It was such a relief to have her advice on where to go and where to stay. We loved the hotels she picked near the Great Barrier Reef, and the overnight boat tour on Doubtful Sound in New Zealand. Laura helped us decide which cities best fit into our trip plans based on the kind of activities we were looking for. She was easy to work with and quick to respond to email. We would definitely work with Laura again!

We had the trip of a lifetime because of Down Under Endeavours and Vanessa Massey. Every hotel was wonderful and located perfectly, every tour was small with great guides and all the transfers were timely and comfortable. The planning process was made easy and she really listened to what we were interested in when she suggested specific tours.
Would highly recommend Down Under Endeavours to anyone planning a special trip. Would also recommend Australia and New Zealand to everyone, just sensational and so beautiful.

Well organized plus a personal touch!

After deciding on a last minute trip to Australia, my family and I opted to use DUE as the agency after reading all the good reviews on the web.

On the negative side, there were some issues with the tours - not all of them their fault (horrible service on certain tours), cockroaches in some of the hotel rooms. The budget was over what we had set out. I understand that they are a "luxury" travel group but when you specifically tell them certain things aren't needed, I feel that it should be honored. Our hotel on Kangaroo Island was booked for one of the penthouse suite. Again, I understand it's a luxury tour, but I specifically had told them that none of us need or want that sort of accommodation and would have rather saved the money to spend elsewhere.

Probably the largest error was the last part of the trip out to Fiji. These are supposed to be customized tours to Australia and the surrounding areas. The trip was myself and my parents. So, the fact that we were booked on an island that seemingly catered to couples and honeymoons does not make any sense when there were other islands that seemed to cater to families.

On the plus side, they were quick to respond to emails. Also, when the tour we booked at the Sydney Opera House was full because the Opera House decided to oversell their tours and refused to let us on the tour (despite that we had tickets for that day), they did refund us themselves for this tour when the Opera House refused to refund us.

Great company to work with. Did it all by e-mail and phone and were able to tweak the itinerary throughout the process. Arrangements all worked and we had a local contact in NZ whom we called once for advice about which driving route to take which was most helpful. Definitely recommend them!!

Down Under Endeavours exceeded all expectations; the trip to Australia and New Zealand was absolutely fabulous. Laura was wonderful to work with - she listened to what we wanted, directed us to the best places, provided seamless travel arrangements, transport and great tour guides.
Two of our favorites were Lizard Island and Lake Taupo.

Down Under Endeavours is the best thing in my travel life! They’ve taken me to Australia twice, New Zealand twice, Fiji, Cook Islands, and even went beyond their normal realm (and NAILED it!) and guided me through Thailand, Hong Kong, Alaska, South Africa, Mozambique, Dubai, and more! They orchestrated these trips such that I didn’t have to worry about a thing, other than showing up. Ground crews were waiting for us upon arrival, and they made sure we had everything we needed. I have learned that DUE will be as involved as you like, and behind the scenes more than you know. Always taking care of things. These folks are so passionate about travel, adventure, exploration, and ensuring every client has the trip of a lifetime!!

Fantastic trip. All accommodations, excursions, etc. were phenomenal. They developed an itinerary that met our needs perfectly--highly recommend using them to plan a trip.

When we decided to have a destination wedding in the Cook Islands, we weren't entirely sure how we were going to coordinate travel for our 40 guests who were traveling from the US. Through a recommendation from a contact within the travel industry, we were directed to Down Under Endeavours. Down Under was able to help us work with the airline to obtain a bulk rate so that we had the lowest possible cost for our guests. Down Under managed all of the payment, ticketing, and even helped with seating assignments. It was incredibly helpful to know that they had it all under control on our behalf, and that our guests would receive great customer service in their interactions with Down Under staff. It made what could otherwise be a stressful experience much easier! Thank you Down Under!

Candice was amazing. She spent hours sharing her knowledge and made us feel completely prepared for our adventure. She arranged amazing excursions and the accommodations were out of the park! Thank you Candice and everyone at the office.

Audra was amazing!! She was so helpful creating the exact kind of trip we wanted. This was our first time using a travel agency and we were a little skeptical at first because usually we like to make things cheaper by blazing the trail ourselves. But Audra made us feel so much better. She was great at offering great ideas but never pushed anything we did not fully want! I would for sure consider using her in the future! :)

Candice was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping us plan our trip. We had some ideas about what we wanted to do but Candice gave us excellent advice as we finalized our itinerary and made our reservations.

Audra has been awesome to work with! Everything has been easy and so great!

It was a trip of a lifetime! New Zealand, 15 days, 22 family members, ages 2 to 72. Corrine and Doug took care of every infinite detail; running the gamut from diapers, to kids activities, special food allergy menus, tours, private Maori performance at the lodge, the list is endless. Corrine and Doug accompanied us on the trip and, within 24 hours, they were part of our family. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and will bend over backwards to ensure your vacation is one in a million.

Down Under Endeavours continually puts the customer first. They are always thinking in your behalf. On all the tips organized for our family Down Under Endeavours could not have done a better job of finding the most etraordinary experiences.
