I ordered a coffee machine

I ordered a coffee machine , I was a little confused over the delivery time , but it was explained to me. The delivery was as advised. I needed a copy of the receipt for the warranty, I sent an email and had a reply within 10 mins, how good is that !!

Can't fault the delivery time packaging…

Can't fault the delivery time packaging etc
Bought this Stainless steel 'Bucket Sink' for the garden.
I Was originally going to get a new belfast sink for the kitchen and use the old one in the garden,
but thought this might be more robust!
I can't definetly recommend this basin for this task - it looks pretty good!
Will it effectively hold a bucket of water on the grid? How big of a bucket?
The thickness of the steel is 20g as far I can see, a little thin - 16 gauge stainless would be a more appropriate thickness at least for this kind of thing.
A feature that should be openly provided in the description! Keep getting vibes from that film - That Sinking Feeling - at least the stainless steel basins of that time were a lot more substantial.
Nevertheless - I shall mount it on the wall outside under the tap, plumb it into the drain - toughen up the sink waste hole rim
and see how long it'll last before it gets 'dinged' to death and look like the surface of the Moon!
Summary - Is it going be a looker (at least for a while), a performer or both?
I hope that is a fair review?

A beautiful shop, once inside you just want to explore & the interesting items to peruse make it very enjoyable. There’s quality, style & fun here, somewhere I find something for myself and gifts for others. The staff are friendly & helpful, I purchased 3 frying pans of graduated sizes by de Buyer each with painted handles in different shiny colours as a gift & 1 large deep pan with a wooden handle for myself also by de Buyer. What an amazing buy!! It’s superb!! Size, stability, gauge, heat distribution all top notch.
Cleaning so simple every time even with constant use. I would highly recommend.

Amazing customer service

I’ve ordered several sockets and a switch by Katy Paty for a project at home. Very happy with the service I’ve received from Isabelle, she was responsive and really accommodating to my request of sending the back boxes ahead for urgent installation purposes. She had also reviewed my order and had flagged up that I was missing a switch box, which was much appreciated as I’ve totally missed that!
The customer service is incredible and the product range is vast! I’m very happy.
P.S. it’s really worth getting the sample box of Katy Paty colours if you are thinking of ordering their products. I’ve been able to colour match for each room separately.

Great customer service

Ordered The C*ck Luxury Matches.
Couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Initially there was a delay, due to Royal Mail, and Isabella’s very understanding and dispatched a new order straight away. I was so happy I ended up buying both orders once the second one turned up. Thanks again Isabelle.

I love Dike and Dean. Their products are great. I have bought several lighting items, they are easy to fit, great quality and they look really cool. Dike and Dean have super efficient customer service. Maisie has helped me several times, her email responses are instant, she always goes out of her way to help me and suggests alternative things I hadn't thought of. She really is a credit to the company. Thanks Maisie !! PS I know the spelling of the company isnt Dike, however trustpilot refused to let me spell Dike correctly because they said I was using inappropriate language (youve gotta laugh)

Major personal data breach

Order was fine, but on the delivery box, it had my address like normal, followed by my email, phone number, order number, item description and cost. All of it in full, none started out. Very disappointing. Breach of GDPR

VAT bill on orders to Ireland

If you are thinking of ordering from Ireland, you will probably get a letter from FedEx some time after the delivery with a bill for VAT. It's not that straightforward to pay this bill, as I have found out. This should be highlighted when you are ordering and paying for the stuff you are buying.

As a result of Brexit, VAT charges may now apply to orders shipped to Ireland, and this is a well-publicised outcome of the changes to trade regulations.

It also appears that your issue is specifically with FedEx, which is a separate company responsible for handling the VAT billing process. While we do not have control over their processes, we encourage customers to review the shipping and tax details available on our site before placing an order.

Unbelievably good service!

I can’t believe how good the service is. I ordered in the afternoon and it arrived the next morning. I almost fell over when I saw the Dyke and Dean box in the postman’s hands. Gorgeous products, flawless service.

Check prices elsewhere before buying...

I've ordered from Dyke & Dean a few times over the last year or two and have been pretty satisfied with their service. My recent order has, however, cast doubt of their pricing and value of some of their items. I ordered a 'peg' fitting and LED bulb, thinking these were fairly high-quality items due to the price - £58.50 for the fitting and £45 for the bulb. When these items arrived, it was clear they were fairly cheap products - the bulb was Osram brand and the fitting was a small piece of plastic and metal. When I then checked these online, I found the identical fitting for £12.00 from Creative Cables and the bulb for £15. I also returned a couple of wall lamps that were 'off the shelf' brand and half price elsewhere. However, I would sincerely like to know how Dyke & Dean can justify charging £58.50 for a fitting that is £12.00 elsewhere online! Because of this experience, I really don't trust that they are value for money and I don't think I'll be buying from them again. Thankfully I was able to return those items from my order and save £100 ordering them elsewhere...

We are sorry to see that you are doubting the value of our products. We would like to explain why our prices may be higher than other non-UK retailers for some products.

The products in question are manufactured and ordered in from the EU.
The bulbs you mention are now discontinued with the manufacturer and now only available in plastic. We hold some of the last stock of the glass bulbs in the UK.

Regarding the wall lights. The manufacturer no longer ships to the UK due to reasons associated with Brexit. We are not aware of any other UK company that has UK stock of these lamps.

Since Brexit, we have seen a surge in our cost prices and the cost to import the goods. We have to pay customs duties and fees on each import, which unfortunately leads to a higher RRP.

As a small business, our prices also reflect other factors including advertising, storage and running costs.

We process and ship all of our orders from our UK warehouse, storing all of the products you have ordered in stock in high numbers.
This allows us to process and deliver orders quickly and efficiently. For example, your order was delivered within 1 working day of your order being placed.

We regularly review our prices to ensure we provide good value for the product offering when taking the lead time etc into account.
We will bring up your feedback in our next review meeting.

Outstanding customer service

Very impressed with this company. Customer service was second to none. I ordered 3 products, thinking they were same colour, was contacted to let me know they weren't so that I could choose others instead. Most companies would have just send it our regardless. Very quick shipping, arrived next day and products are beautiful and just what we wanted. Thank you!
