I only wish I'd bought these sooner!

Picked up the EcoAir DD3 Slimline and Equinox fan as refurbished units so very happy with the price I got them.

My hygrometers have been 80%+ since we moved into this old 200 year old cottage. Been running a competitor's compressor model for 6 months with no luck. But this beast of a dehumidifier brought it down to 40% within 2 days! It's removing 10L of water a day. The ambient temp in our house is 14-16c and it still works perfectly. Wish we'd got one sooner. Wouldn't be without it now.

If it can dry out the air in this 200 year old cottage in the woods then it can surely dry out the air anywhere!!

Haven't even noticed an increase in my electricity bill yet either.

The fan has been great to circulate warm air from the log fire too. All in all 10/10 I hope it lasts a long time it's clearly very well built. Thank you!

Great products and excellent Customer Care.

I purchased the Mini DD1 Dehumidifier, as I wanted a compact & lightweight unit to use in my Touring Caravan. So far I have only tested this at home and it should be perfect in the caravan .
Being the owner of a previous purchase the DD3 Classic MK3 in April 2023, which is excellent, I had no hesitation to purchase from EcoAir again.
Their Customer Support Team dealt with a small problem with my recent purchase and arranged a free speedy collection and exchange.

At last, a really good dehumidifier.

The dehumidifier works really well. The noise is perfectly bearable to have it on all night. It is not too big. It's simple to use. It really works!

Great company and products

I bought a Dehumidifier around 10 years ago from EcoAir which is still going strong and looking like new and needed one for another property so without any hesitation I was only interested in EcoAir products. I am not disappointed with the new one either, it looks and performs perfectly. It was delivered quickly and well packaged. It is amazing how much water can be removed from the air in your home and this dehumidifier keeps it at a safe level.

Excellent Customer Support

Excellent Customer Support. I had an issue with the appliance packaging not giving specific storage space to the uk mains plug causing some damage. Josh in customer support was excellent with a curteous and quick response, allowing an efficient resolution of the problem.

A Game-Changer for Damp Homes 10 stars

I've tried a few dehumidifiers over the years, but the EcoAir Summit S has blown everything else out of the water. From the moment it arrived, I could tell this was a premium product — the sleek white finish and compact design mean it doesn't look out of place in any room, unlike the ugly industrial-looking units I've used before.Getting it up and running took all of five minutes. The touch-sensitive control panel is intuitive, with clear icons for humidity targets, fan speed, timer, and sleep mode. The large digital display showing both temperature and humidity levels in real time is genuinely useful — I had no idea my bedroom was sitting at 75% humidity until this thing told me so!
This is where the Summit S really shines. Within a couple of hours of switching it on, I noticed a tangible difference in the air quality. The musty smell that had been lingering in my hallway for months? Gone within a day. It's remarkably quiet too — the sleep mode is whisper-soft, so running it overnight is absolutely no problem.
The castors on the bottom are a thoughtful touch, making it effortless to move between rooms.
Given how well it performs and how good it looks, the price feels very fair. My energy bills haven't noticeably spiked either, which was a concern I had going in.
Stylish, effective, and whisper-quiet — I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Customer Service only online. No viable repair or recycle policy.

I tried to contact Ecoair by phone on numerous occasions, through all their 'options'. The phone repeatedly cut itself off. One option I managed to leave a message and no reply.

I did speak with someone a while back who said there was a flat fee of £49 to repair and replace as the mechanism inside was one unit that simply needed changing.

This time it was very different. Serial numbers and invoices are now required. More work to contact the company I bought it from to see if they still had the invoice, as I didn't.

Now the.policy is a diagnostic fee of £49 plus any parts plus collection and delivery.

This is not economical as new is far cheaper.

The fact is, according to the first person I spoke with this is so easily repaired. So to end up in landfill is a deplorable company policy.
I will be purchasing elsewhere.

We are very sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty reaching us by phone. We were unfortunately experiencing temporary technical issues with our phone system at the time, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. However, we understand that we were able to communicate with you via email to discuss the matter further.

Regarding the repair fee, several years ago we offered a £49 charge, but this only covered the diagnostic inspection. It did not include parts, full labour, cleaning, or an extended warranty. Our current out-of-warranty repair service is £98, which includes full diagnostics, internal cleaning, labour, replacement of any required internal parts, and a 12-month warranty on the repair. . Our intention has been to make the service more transparent and cost-effective, with no unexpected part charges once the unit is with us.

We ask for the serial number to confirm the unit is ours and to carry out safety checks. An invoice is only needed if checking whether the unit is still under warranty, not when filling out the form.

We believe our updated repair service is a fair and cost-effective solution. While we respect your decision not to proceed, a repair option was available to help extend the life of the appliance. Additionally, customers can recycle electrical and electronic appliances free of charge at their local recycling centres. EcoAir contributes towards the national recycling scheme to ensure the responsible disposal of our products.

We are sorry you feel disappointed, and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Great Eco Air Desiccant Dehumidifier…

Bought a new desiccant dehumidifier directly from EcoAir to replace an older, different brand, compressor dehumidifier which stopped working after 10 years.
The website was useful source of information to help choose which model would be most suitable. The price was the best on the internet. Delivery was swift and efficient. The fan on the dehumidifier is a little noisy, but works a treat in a cold porch where we store our outdoor clothes. It collects much more water than our old one. We're very happy with our new EcoAir purchase. The new humidifier has a 3 year warranty for extra peace of mind.
