Electrex World Ltd Avis 

I purchased a RR58 for my Honda NC30 as a replacement for the old original one that came on the bike ,and was well known for causing problems on these older bikes . The Electrex RR58 was recommended to me and was promptly fitted as per instructions all connectors soldered and I even purchased the correct crimping tool from them ,just to ensure I did the best job possible! This is where my problems started ! Two rewires due to melted phase wires , and then I started to question, is the RR58 working as it should ? I questioned Electrex regarding the voltage that the unit should be charging at , as their paperwork said 13.8 -14.8 . My one was charging at times 15.20 ! Russel said their paperwork was incorrect and (needed to be updated ) ! I actually took my stator , which I had already tested , and the RR58 which they tested and they said nothing was wrong despite the fact it totally over charges compared to their own spec on the paperwork . It has now melted the three pin plug connecting the stator to the RR58, Luckily as soon as I saw smoke I stopped the engine . That same night I purchased a brand new Honda part . So with the same stator , battery and a new plug fitted my bike now runs and would you believe it , depending on whether the lights are on or off and engine RPM, my voltages are pretty much bang on the what Electrex claim in there own paperwork , but there unit does not replicate! Lots of wasted time and money .Very unimpressed!

Bought a reg/rec unit from them a few days ago for a Triumph Sprint ST1050 and it fitted perfectly with one or two minor adjustments to the wiring and I’ve tested it a few times and it’s now regulating the charge to the battery at a constant 14.54 volts, excellent product and super quick postage too, arriving next day.
Can’t fault them, thank you very much

After a quick call to the company they advised me what I needed. Arrived withing 24hrs, fitted and the bikes working perfectly again. Thanks so much

Once again, I pull a brand new Ignition Kit out of the Box and one of the components (CDI Unit) is Dead. Unbeleivable!, out of Four (4) Ignition Kits I have purchased from this company at least one component from each one was Dead On Arrival or Failed almost immediately. and Forget warranty, it doesn't exist.

If I could give zero stars I would. I've sent an item back that was received 19th June & I'm still awaiting a refund (5th July) depsite the invoice on the day of purchase stating refunds take 5 working days.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I have now had a 3rd failure from this company that means every part they have supplied has failed
In my opinion their parts are substandard and after talking to the guy who makes them my fears where confirmed.
Will never use them again
It's a shame we in the UK used to make quality parts.
They didn't even give me an apology.

I ordered a CDI Kit for a 1965 Pre-Unit Triumph that was owned my my late father,
I emailed them to unsure the kit would kit the bike before ordering and they assured me it would.
The kit does not fit whatsoever and after emailing back and forth looking for a solution they basically told me it wont fit.
I asked to speak to a manager and I'm yet to receive a reply.
This wasn't a cheap purchase and now I'm stuck with useless Stator.
Incredibly disappointing!!!!

Bought a stator off them for CBF1000. It failed 2 months later. Tried to email them re warranty, but haven’t heard back from them. Poor product and poor customer service

Excellent service - quick delivery.
Ordered a RR23 for a CBR1000F Tuesday and got it Thursday in DK.

I was very disappointed when I received my kit from Electrex. The finish of the machined components is really not up to what you would expect from this £280.00 kit.

What is possibly illegal is that the pictures shown on their website of the kit components do not reflect the parts that are received.

The stator plate had a terrible finish to the face. Crudely machined and unfinished. The website pictures show a nice detail of the Electrex engraving that is not present on the item received. I guess this is a cost cutting exercise.

If this was not bad enough the rotor was covered in machining scratches. Again, the picture on the website shows a nice clean rotor with no scratches.

As an engineer myself, I am all too aware of how finishes and scratches can be taken out or improved with little time spent if you have the correct machinery. Electrex have the means to improve the finish on this product but they do not. They also will be all too aware that the pictures on their website do not reflect the items they are sending out but they do not change these.

It is disgusting that their website sales pitch is dishonest and when questioned about this, they did not offer a solution, they did not offer to change their website pictures to a true reflection of the goods they are sending out, just an if you don't like it send it back attitude.

Extremely disappointed.

this company based in Oxfordshire,make motorcycle electrical components,(alternator stators,etc.)..their ordering and dispatch departments deserve big thumbs up,quality better than original(Triumph) part,1/3 the cost of genuine,year's guarantee too.Sent VERY rapidly,well packaged too,very pleased :)
