You have done solved the problem
1 isolate feeder by hanging on a cable tie
2 connect all metal "feeding points" with thin copper wire
3 connect positive output from unit to feeder
4 connect negative to metal feeder post
5 no more squirrels !!

PS Squirrels were eating 5 times the amount of seed than the birds!

Superb customer service, very knowledgeable and willing to give advice and ideas over the phone with pros and cons of the different ways of fencing my horse paddocks. I ordered some bits and pieces for my electric fencing online, and the next day Andy rang me up and offered me a better fencifier as an alternative because the company had received a faulty batch of the one I had ordered. Andy modified my order to achieve a much better solution for my needs than I had chosen by myself off the website. The delivery company then messed up the delivery of part of the order (damaged in transit) which, again, the company resolved very quickly and re-shipped the damaged component. This is the second time I have used this company and I have had excellent experiences both times.

A slight delay in dispatch was balanced by the excellent communication and kind offer of an upgrade on my order

Ordered a pair of Numax batteries, one of which had leaked when I received them. One phone call and a new one was on it's way. I also had a courtesy call to check all was fine. I wish every company would behave like this.
