EMA Patient Transport Avis 

I booked EMA transport for my mother who has end stage dementia. The 2 members of staff were so kind and calm and looked after my mother really well.

Was so pleased with the services received moving my elderly aunt who suffers with dementia to a new care home 60 miles away. Both medical staff treated her with kindness and understanding and eased her anxiety. Delivered her safely door to door. Can’t thank them enough

All 3 staff were professional , cheerful , polite and offer a wonderful service ,
Elderly gentleman had been stuck upstairs for 18 days and getting very depressed , this company had him downstairs safely in no time ,

They were late but phoned in good time to warn us!

Assisted by Neil and Justin, the gentle lady was transported to a care home with great professionalism, appropriate humour and a wonderful bedside manner. She was totally immobile and they had all the equipment and training to move her effortlessly.
Well done Neil and Justin. EMA should be proud of you both!

At very short notice (with 18hrs), from the first call to Michelle to agree price and arranging a time, my frail mum was moved from one Care home to a Nursing home. Neil and Sophie were very caring and professional and moved mum with great dignity. They arrived at the given time and could not do enough to make mum comfortable. They went well above my expectations. An excellent service.

At very short notice, we had to move my frail mum from her upstairs bedroom at home to a respite home. Understandably, this was something we were all very apprehensive about as mum was unable to use her stairlift. However, Matt and Jade arrived and were amazing from beginning to end. From chatting with mum to find out what would suit her best, what she was worried about and reassuring her every step of the way, they could not have been more supportive. We all felt completely at ease in their hands. They were polite, competent and friendly, taking time to explain everything to dad as well as mum. They rang ahead to confirm they would be arriving on time which was helpful too.
The booking call centre were also superb, helping us to smoothly navigate this stressful, emotional time. I wholeheartedly recommend EMA patient transport and would not hesitate to use them at any time in the future. A huge thank you to all concerned, especially Matt and Jade.

The team were informative throughout. They dealt with my elderly aunt with the utmost of respect and dignity. It was a stressful day due to issues on the roads (transport from North London to the Hampshire coast!) but the crew took that stress to a minimum.
They were courteous, efficient, kind and instructive. I can only heap praise on them.
Should I ever be in the unfortunate position of needing patient transport again EMA will be my first port of call

Not often do you come across a company, people or service that impress you but that happened this week. We needed to move our mum from one care home in London to another in Hampshire at short notice. We booked the transport service through EMA and hoped every thing would be ok. Well it was more than ok it was amazing. Alan and Justin not only arrived early but were so professional but personal at the same time - just made us all feel at ease and secure in the knowledge it was all going to be ok. The transfer was so smooth it was such a pleasurable journey - it seemed over in a flash. Can’t speak highly enough about these two gentleman - such a credit to the company and could not recommend them highly enough to others. From start to finish AAA+++ service.

Both Steve and Peter were professional from the start. They met me at my hospital room and got me safely to the waiting ambulance. I felt very secure and comfortable in the ambulance. Nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate in recommending EMA for critical or trauma care travel.

Easy to book and paramedics arrived as expected and were caring and looked after my wife very well.

From the moment I rang for help to the safe delivery of the patient home, EMA acted totally professionally in every respect. Michelle who took my original call and Steve and Neil the ambulance crew members did all they could to smooth the process prompting the patient to say "well that was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I felt very safe in the good hands of the EMA staff".

A truly professional service from the telephone booking arrangements to the actual journey from Dorchester to Poole and return. Very professional and easy service

We decided to use EMA to transport Mum to another care home. I'm so glad I did. Pete and Steve were brilliant with her. She travelled the 45 minute journey in comfort and every correct procedure was followed to ensure the transfer was made safely. I highly recommend this company.

We had a fantastic service. They arrived on time having rung me to let me know they were on their way. I was concerned about the dress in 94 year old going from Salisbury to Huntingdon, a 3 hour drive , but they were so kind and caring and she enjoyed the journey and felt like she was going on holiday. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing to move their aged relatives. Steve and Michelle were compassionate and good humoured and everything went without a hitch. Thank you EMA.

Recently I travelled in an EMA ambulance to and from a hospital appointment an hour away from home. The crew were absolutely wonderful from the moment they phoned to say they were on their way here to delivering me back to my own bed four and a half hours later and they gave me superb care throughout. I am unable to sit, but the crew provided me with extra pillows on a trolley and kept me comfortable and safe both during the journey and in the hospital where they helped me stand in a difficult position to have x-rays followed by spinal injections. I have been bedridden for eight months and in great pain so I had been dreading this appointment, but the EMA crew went out of their way to keep me comfortable and positive and their kindness and superb efficiency made sure that I will have only good memories of what could have been a horrible experience. Everything was perfect, so thank you EMA for providing me with an excellent service and I shall look forward very much to travelling with you again.
