Empire Medals did a great job replacing my daughters medal. It came in good time and looks amazing. I will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Nice looking miniature medal, took them longer than was normal as over xmas, i understood snd was kept in the loop after asking to be kept updated they did

They brought my dad’s medals and memories back to life . They have been beautifully presented and will display them forever .

Have used Empire for a number of years without any issues but for some reason, on this occasion the service was extremely slow (waited nearly 3 months) and the communication was nonexistent unless I chased. Will be looking into other providers next time.

Responded quickly to queries and informed me of due delivery.

So pleased with the result Quicker than promised delivery. Well packed. Excellent definately recommend

This is my experience; After retiring, probably last time my medal mounting would require updating.
1) Disappointingly after 8 weeks away received my order back just before but too late for taking medals on Remembrance weekend. 2) Further disappointment with a purchase missing from the order with no note or explanation 3) and unbelievably two medals were damaged with the part of one attached (*resting) to the front of another - NATO clasp onto Jubilee medal front. 4) Took nearly a month to receive a return facility(*) to send the medals back for repair. 5) Away for a week, the delivery included the missing purchase. The damaged part was repositioned on the ribbon but that medal was now loosely mounted. There was nothing stopping it swinging about, just some loose threads coming from the backing: later explanation it must have happened in the post(*). This occurring to only that one, out of six medals in that delivery.
Found there to be little customer service, taking ownership of a problem resulting from an obtuse(*) position with lack of & poor communication. An example being taking a fortnight replying so it was received just before Christmas, email concluding now closed until the New Year.
In closure was given 50% price reduction as a gesture of goodwill(*), eventually becoming a full refund for the medals mounting.
Moving forward, 4 months after sending medals away now in the position of having to send them to another company for the court mounting to be redone.
Hopefully by Remembrance 2026!

Clearly customer service nor service quality is anything taken seriously, nor is the value of customers personal items - especially medals.
How can a service be done so badly twice?!
More care should have been applied with the medals a second time.
It has never been explained how an item that WASN’T to have any adhesive ends up glued to the front of another medal - it came back glued to the other medal as a bar not a clasp so clearly it was altered!
& to be told that second time the mounting was checked prior to dispatch is clearly a false statement as the threads holding the relevant medal had to be severed so a new clasp was positioned onto that ribbon. Newly applied threads do not become undone from being in the post - again only this medal that required further work was affected & the only one hanging loose out of six.
Why was the court mounting NOT just done fully again?!
The fact that the whole experience took 4 months & not the stated 6 weeks is a breach of contract which there has never been any compensation apart from the reluctant refund for the court mounting.

From reading other reviews, the negatives ones all complain about similar issues; lack of communication, taking to long & quality of the work/service.

In the reply saying fell short of the required - there clearly was no standard!

Worcester Medals have since done a completely new satisfactory full court mounting. During which they communicated regularly including phone calls.

I found some medals in an old purse belonging to my late wife. I established that they belonged to her late uncle. They were dirty and had no ribbons attached. I sent them off to Empire Meals and received them back on Christmas Eve. They had been cleaned, had new ribbons attached and they were framed so that they could be put on display. Excellent work by empire Medals

I ordered several non-personalised medals for a Christmas present on the 1st of December. The total of this order came to over £160. Empire Medal's website mentioned they usually ship between 7-14 days.

On the 17th of December I raised a ticket on their website asking for an update. No reply.

On the 18th, I reached out to their facebook page. No reply.

Christmas came and went, no sign of any dispatch or reply to my tickets. I noticed reading other reviews here that they can very slow to dispatch, however this is usually on personalised ordered, which mine was not.

On the 29th of December I found several other companies who would be able to fulfil my order and were keen for my business. At that point I sent an email to Empire medals asking to cancel my order. As the items hadn't dispatched I was well within my consumer rights to do so.

4 days after this email I had an automated reply from Empire Medals stating my order had been shipped. I waited. 3 days later the courier still stated they had not recieved the items. I followed this up with a final email to Empire Medals requesting a full refund. No reply.

I have now had to start a dispute with my credit card provider to reclaim my funds. I've been online shopping for well over 10 years and I never come across such poor customer service.

At the time of this review I ordered my medals 36 days ago I still have not received a single reply from Empire Medals aside from automated responses stating they'll get back to me.
If you do decide to go with this company, i highly recommend you secure your purchase with a credit card (over £100 value)

I for one, will not be attempting to use their services again.

Good clear instructions to order medals. The only criticism is the long length time from ordering and receiving.

These were comemerative medals I once had but lost over the years from my time as a driver Trooper in C Sqdn royal yeomanry,found brochure very informative service very good

I have ordered one baseball hat 21 Nov and still not received it. I have submitted 3 times a ticket according their website but I have not received any response either my item.

You kept me politely informed, despite my impatience. The quality of your product is truly exceptional.

Despite a couple of issues which were resolved in a very short time the products and service are excellent.

I am on your e mail list, end of September I had an automatic mail which said send your medals now if you want them by Remembrance Day I acted quickly sent my money and the medals same day, however the deadline was missed.
Medals on arrival looked good !
