I just started going to this gym. I was a bit nervous at first but the team is really lovely and welcoming, so it was easy to feel comfortable here pretty quickly.

Enjoyable but room for improvement
Really enjoy going to Chelmsford's Energie Fitness, but increasingly there are a few small frustrations - broken lockers, ladies toilet out of order, no paper towels to wipe down machines. Other than that, always clean, bright and airy, with a good atmosphere.

Kick start session needs to improve
Overall gym is good but the kickstart session only lasted for 5 minutes.

Fantastic little gym in the heart of…
Fantastic little gym in the heart of Chelmsford City centre, the facilities are great with individual shower pods however the gym would benefit from more washroom facilities and toilets as can be hard to get In one when the gym is busy. The equipment is great and always kept clean and safe to use, I can't really fault this gym other then the size as it could be better if was little bigger. Again when it's busy it's hard to get on any equipment or weights and to move around but other than that it's a great little gym, also there isn't any parking but you can use the pay and display car park at fair fields or the multi story at the market.

honest review
although it is written on the wall to clean the machine after use, this is not the case and one can see traces of sweat on the tread mills and now think about the other machines.
While running in front of the windows in the morning the sun light hits you in the face which makes it very inconvenient, a couple of blinds will help.
Also, there is no natural air at all, the place should be aerated specially during peak time or every 2 hours for 10 minutes which will help keeping a clean air.

Hi I've just cancelled my membership. The reason was that at peak time the gym equipment I liked to use would often not be available. Staff are great & other facilities are good

Some of the instructors don't seem to give 100%
There were no classes last Saturday and none this Saturday with no explanation.

As an early in the morning work out…
As an early in the morning work out lover, I love the fact that energie is not too busy in the mornings. The equipment is as up to date and effective as I would want it to be. It has a friendly environment, well ventilated. My only comment would be introducing more group classes to standard package aiming beginner level cardio (zumba or pilates perhaps?)

My honest opinion
One of the best Gyms I have attended. Friendly staff they make me feel like I'm at home. We are all one big family in the Gym. Some upgrades need to be done in my opinion like the floor at the free weights sections and the weightlifting station rubber tiles need to be fixed as well but regardless the gym is really nice.
p.s. A better leg curl machine could do as well.
