I had both services of refilling and refurbishing/treating undertaken by Rob. In advance specifications and expectations were discussed and agreed. Rob is extremely knowledgeable and his experience meant he had dealt with all types of sofa/filling/access so nothing was a surprise.
Throughout the refilling he checked with me as to my comfort expectations and he was flexible to ensure I was happy. When it came to touching up worn areas and treating the leather, he was meticulous to create the best and treated it as if it was his own. Rob was a pleasure to deal with and very happy to refer and use again.

Essex leather solutions are miracle workers. Rob refurbished my 2 and 3 seater settees. I honestly didn’t think he would be able to help due to the unusual colour of my suite. Well, I must say I was amazed with the results- it is as good as the day I purchased it. I am so very pleased and can now sit in comfort. He re upholstered and then worked on bringing the suite back to life. Thank you so much. Million % recommendation from me.

Rob really informative and polite and end result is superb! Our settee would have cost thousands to replace but now looks fabulous after large 2 cushion repairs and spraying to match colour and stitching and repairs.

Rob attended to recolour my aneline leather furniture. Within less than 24 hours the spray coating used began to peel off. After contacting him with photographic evidence he agreed to revisit to rectify assuring me this had never happened before. Having looked at reviews the same happened to Diane Shaw’s furniture in February 2022. Therefore his statement was untrue. The second attempt was also unsuccessful. Within less than 24 hours the coating used began to peel off. Rob Doshi has destroyed my furniture and we now need to either replace or recover. I would not recommend this company. I have made every effort to contact Rob but he is ignoring my emails.

We really needed a new sofa but loved how comfy our old one was.
The Mrs looked to see if it was possible to restore and came across this company.
All I can say is “Wow” thankyou so much rob the sofa looks amazing and you saved us a fortune 👍🏻

This is the 2nd time we have used this company and each time we have been bowled over with the result.
Last week we had our 2 seater & 3 seater settee done & what a transformation! They now look like we have just purchased some new settees.
The colour is spot on . Very professional, friendly and a great price.
I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again .
If anyone is thinking of giving their settees a new lease of life then I would highly recommend this company.

My expensive 2 sofa's were very worn, with splits and holes in the leather. I contacted Essex Leather Solutions, I found Rob (owner) very courteous. He gave us a quote which was really acceptable.
To watch this guy work is like watching BBC1 The Repair Shop. His amazing.
He stript down the sofa's and took the damage leather away.
Returned some 8-10 days later with top quality Italian leather, the colour matching the rest of the sofa's was perfect.
His attention to detail again spot on. He even re-stuffed and fixed broken parts.
He is a pleasure to be in our house.
Great communication skills.
Great converstationist.
We are so pleased with the finished work.
The downside, we won't see Rob for another 20 years.
We highly reccommend him with 100% confidence.

Had my sofa cleaned and repaired by Rob . He has done such a lovely job. Would highly recommend. My 20-year-old sofa now only looks a couple of years old. I’m so happy with the results. And also Rob was very reliable and very courteous. Will definitely recommend Rob to all my friends and family.

Rob dyed and cleaned my Danks Design leather 3 seater settee, armchair, footstool and corner settee, unfortunately the dye come off in large patches all over the furniture, it took about 6 phone calls, left messages each time, emails and Facebook messages, after about 3 weeks rob did finally respond to my calls and come re dyed the furniture, exactly the same thing has happened again, dye coming off in large and small patches, have rung rob and left messages for the last 3 weeks with no response.

Revived my 9 year old sofa set. Repadded and restored the colour to look brand new again. Excellent service. Rob is polite and knowledgable. So glad I chose Essex Leather Solutions when others were charging a lot more for the same service. Thank you.

Need an urgent leather couch re stuffed seats where saggy called Rob for a quote visit booked very happy with portfolio and booked for repair 1 week later very plump sofa excellent quality workmanship and price very worthwhile as I thought couch was going to scrapyard but Rob the boss had second thoughts lol ty Rob
