How in the hell do these people get licences to practice?
The prosthetist is great, but the third world trained *cough* "dentists" will leave you with way more than you bargained for.
'Patrizia' was to work on a gumline filling. ONE gumline filling. She hardly spoke a word, didn't introduce herself, didn't walk me though the process, didn't offer anasthetic or use swabs or tube sponges. I asked her a simple question regarding what she was doing and her response: "I HAVE BEEN A DENTIST FOR OVER 20 YEARS! I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING!!!" (I still didn't get an answer). Eight minutes and the procedure was over! When I sat up in the chair, I ran my finger along the gumline, realising she had jiggered with TWO of my teeth (she was NOT authorised to do this). I could still feel the dreadful gumline tooth sensitivity that I walked in there with! She had basically dumped globs of dark composite on the bottom sides of two teeth then hardened it with the blue light. My two teeth are misshapen and protrude and the gumline tooth erosion still remained exposed. Two gumline fillings were 'attempted', neither of which were completed beautifully or correctly and she left the teeth with this profoundly 'gravelly' feeling... when I asked if she was planning to smooth the surface over she said "No, because you are too sensitive to the drill". I had to press her to smooth the tooth (teeth) over and she became agitated. When I questioned her about the two gumline fillings she became argumentative, repeatedly rolling her eyes and stated "I don wanna deal with this." In all my life I have never, ever experienced such unprofessional behaviour by a health care provider. I reported her to the Dental Ombudsman because the service was so bad and her attitude even worse. The experience was sickening and costly in more ways than one. Don't ever let ANYONE in your mouth unless you trust them that they 1. understand you. 2. know what they are doing. 3. are skilled at what they are doing. The price is too high to pay with teeth and you only really get one clear shot. It's too easy to get your teeth stuffed up by incompetent morons. #esteemdentalcare #ashmoredental #nightmaredentist
