Just out of warranty
Brought a car from evan halshaw blackpool, warranty ended on 11 January, now the 26th January after only 910miles engine malfunction service now light came on. Brilliant should of never bothered i feel cheated, i have a family to provide for and its going to tough on finances trying to get the money for the repairs

Even though it took a little longer…
Even though it took a little longer than expected to return my car, the delivery driver was very helpful as there was a slight discrepancy with the invoice, which was quickly resolved the following day to my complete satisfaction.
The car appears to drive well, and is noticeably running quieter and better than before the service.

Had a service done in June 2024
Had a service done in June 2024. When I booked service I phoned and was given 2 options do a basic service or a full service (more expensive) and everything would be done. Was told bring in car at 9am will be completed by 11am. Returned to evans halshaw blackpool at 11.30 sat down was then approached by customer service to be told what I am doing am I sitting here and waiting as they havnt even started the service to which I showed them email saying It should already be done they apologised and said will get it RUSHED through now and by rushed they meant do half a job. After waiting another 2 hours eventually got car back only to get home check air filter seen it hadn't been replaced and 2 days later realising I had an oil leak obvs from a RUSHED job. If wouldn't have notice oil patch under car it could of ran engine dry and destroyed it. Had rac come out and try to fix but was told sump plug had been installed incorrectly and needed replacing and need new under tray as old one was ruined with leaking oil. Returned the car they fixed the problem and replaced air filter what I paid for, but after this experience I doubt they ever replaced the oil filter, cabin filter what I payed for. Do not book a service here if u want to have a ny trust that the job has been completed

Engine management light on before delivery day and back again after 2 days
Had to wait a week for the car to be delivered. The day before delivery i got told the engine management light was on and couldnt be confirmed if the car was going to be delivered on the day. The day of delivery got told it was sorted. Two days later the engine management light is back on and no explanation as to whether the car will be fixed on the day. How long will it take. Will i be getting a courtesy car or anything if the car will need to remain there or if they cant book me in now and i need to wait which means i then cant drive this car due to the engine management light still on and whether i will be given another car in the meantime as i need to get to work which is 25 miles away. Also i feel like ive been sold a car with a fault and actually wasnt fixed and that they just cleared the error message and got told it had been sorted which if it was sorted two days the light wouldnt be back on
