Evans Halshaw - FordStore Old Trafford Avis 

I bought a car from the dealer in Ashton under-Lyne, I pay an extra £20 on top of my finance to have a premium 2 year warranty. I bring my car to this dealership because it’s local to me. August of 2023 they replaced a thermostat housing for a leak. July of 2024 I saw the leak coming from the same spot, brought it to them to get it looked at and they told me it was the thermostat housing again. They told me they couldn’t replace the part under warranty again because I don’t have service history. I serviced the car myself and it has a genuine stamp in the book from the dealer i work in, but because I don’t have an invoice copy they couldn’t replace the part even tho it’s a failed component that they had already replaced less then a year ago. A part like that shouldn’t fail in less than a year so the job wasn’t done right. When I said to them they need to take responsibility for a faulty job they done, they didn’t want to do anything about it, they tried charging me £120 for a diagnostic fee which I didn’t pay for because it’s not right I need to take responsibility for this. It’s a job I could do my self but why should I have to pay for a new part and cause my self the stress of doing it when I’m paying EXTRA on my finance for a PREMIUM WARRANTY. I personally won’t be having a car from Evans halshaw again after this bad experience. I work in a dealer my self and how Ford have handled this situation is beyond a joke.

Great professional service from start to finish from Jacob who makes you feel at ease and doesn’t put you under pressure. Did a test drive and purchased the car immediately. Highly recommend to anyone searching for their next vehicle.

Arrived before the 0800 opening time but was called over by the service receptionist as she came into the booking in area to be dealt with. Advised not to go home as my vehicle as first in and it wouldn't be that long. Went to the retail park opposite and did some shopping.
On my return my vehicle was ready, with no advisories and had been cleaned as well

I’ve recently purchased a Ford KA car for my son from Evans halshaw OT on 15/08/24, I have to say Tahir Afzal went above and beyond to make this sale as less stressful as possible. He was friendly, approachable and very professional. My son was worrying how he was going to have time to pick his car up on the Saturday 17/08/24 due to working nights but Tahir came up with a plan that suited everyone and delivered the car himself on the 15/08/24 whilst my son was asleep, so when he woke up he would have the surprise of his life, I have to say he was so made up and we was all very thankful for Tahir to go out of his way to make this happen. I’ve bought several cars in the past but this has been the smoothest I’ve ever had to deal with. Thank you Tahir from myself and Harry.
