Formula One Autocentres - Newark Avis 

Fantastic service. Just had new front and rear brakes pads done. Just amaze how quick they did the work. Took the car in 8.30am and it was ready by 10.10am. We'll done lads keep it up.

Fitted a new tyre quickly and great friendly service.

Had my rear discs and pads replaced at the Newark on Trent branch. 2013 transit 125 T350 LWB. They made a right mess, didn’t replace the seals, just bodged it with silicone. Had brake fluid leaking onto my new pads and discs, consequently it failed it’s MOT. Took it back to be fixed and they said they’d replaced the seals, now the hand brake didn’t work, took it back again to sort the hand brake out, felt better but only for a short period, then it went slack. Took it to a local garage with a good rep, and they told me they’d just put more silicone on. Got the garage to repair their bodges and now almost a year in and I’m still chasing my money. Absolutely appalling customer care. Area manager is an idiot, local manger was sacked and replaced but I’m still out of pocket. Totally incompetent, will never use this company again. Been trying to deal with customer service but gave up, going to small claims court now.

Absolutely fantastic service at the Newark branch today. Car was booked in over the phone last week, was extremely helpful from that point. Car was up on the ramp earlier than my booked time and was done with in 45 mins! Waiting room was lovely and very spacious to. Staff explained the advisory on my mot and just seemed happy to be there even though very busy. Will definitely be using again. Thank you to all the staff for your professional and prompt service today.

I think I messed up on the first order, when I rang the Newark-on-Trent office they provisionally booked the time I wanted and told me to reorder. I did this and with the help of Head Office and local branch it has worked out perfect. Thank you and I'll be back when I next need tyres.

The team at Newark Autocentre not only provide great customer service but go the extra mile. They helped me in an emergency several times in the last few months. They are great people not just great mechanics.

Actually shocking, took the car in for an MOT and the staff were smirking at me and my partner in the car park but upon returning we discovered it had failed on 22 things and the guy said "It's probably not worth fixing, scraping would be the better option" - In absolute disbelief we took it to "we only MOT" who passed it with no problems the following day and we'd done nothing to it, he stated how well we'd looked after it and said "it's a really good car" - we showed the "we only MOT" guy why it failed and he was actually gobsmacked, he said he'd never ever seen anything like it and suggested we took it further because (for instance) it failed on a power steering fluid leak, the car has fully electric steering and doesn't even even use fluid,so how can it have a leak!? Failed it on oil when he said it shouldn't be checked but "looked fine" and said there was bearly any corrosion but according to F1 the whole underside was "severely corroded"

You could suggest the guy who did the MOT just wanted to try and pull a load of money out of the customer by making up a load of problems without even inspecting the car (couldn't have checked or he wouldn't have failed an electric steering car on fluid) but he actually suggested just scraping it... So he didn't even want money, just wanted my partner to scrap her car which was in very good condition. This will go further, perhaps even national news. Shocking scandalous behaviour.

Upon mentioning it to my uncle, he said "never take it there", turns out they'd failed his van on multiple things including tires which he'd had changed FOR the MOT!

I took my car to another place for it’s MOT and it failed on 3 things. I walked into Formula One without an appointment and met Kyle who rang around to order one of the parts needed. I explained to Kyle that I was desperate to get my car back for work ASAP, he told me it would be done for late afternoon. I got a call to say it was ready and got it back to the MOT test centre the same day and it passed. Well done to all the guys at formula one Newark, see you next week for my service.

I’ve used the Newark branch of Formula One twice recently and both times the service received has been great.
I cannot thank them enough for the speed and service.
I’ll be using them again.

Visited Formula 1 Newark at the weekend, we were in a classic car run and had a puncture. This was repaired whilst we waited so we were able to continue the run. More importantly the following day to return 100 miles or so home with the knowledge that we had a spare as peace of mind.
