Formula One Autocentres - Newhaven Avis 

Awful and horrendous. Don’t take your car here!! Charge you for things that don’t need doing and at the point where my partner had his car serviced and the sump plug wasn’t put on and came off in the tray under the car we were advised by another establishment that they had no qualified mechanics as such. On the previous review I left last week I had a response which is automated saying contact customer service when I had already done so!!

Great job completed, went out of their way to fit my tyres despite their machine not working properly. Thanks for your help.

After a long drive from France and our car juddering at 70mph, we were worried about it for the rest of our trip to the North West. These guys squeezed us in at short notice on a Saturday afternoon, checked everything, rebalanced the front wheels, reassured us all was OK with the car, and wouldn't even take payment Brilliant service and from the outset we felt we were in totally safe hands. Highly recommended.

Put my car through a £185 service in October, mot,d in December and 2 of the fails we're low coolant and to much oil , correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't this have been done correctly on the service ?? Absolutely appalling, never going there again and we have 3 cars in the family that used to , not anymore that's for sure .

Went to Newhaven branch, Gary fixed my car for me on a Sunday morning, the Rac man who took me there to leave the car for them was amazed a garage would even be open on a Sunday let alone turn anything round. I mentioned to Gary that iam a care worker with the emergency weekend on call and he really pulled out all the stops, not a small job either, iam beyond impressed and couldn't thank him enough

The MOT test gave the car 15 advisories including, all 4 tyres needing replacing, all 4 shock absorbers damaged, suspension arms corroded.

I then went to Kwikfit next day and obtained a free tyre check. This revealed that all 4 tyres were good with no problems. The cost of putting right these advisories was quoted as £900 which the manager at F1 offered to do straight away, I declined.
I would add that my previous dealings with F1 at Newhaven were good.

Two new Dunlop tyres fitted, friendly manager with some good stories. Tyres feel great, good price & job, and will certainly use again for next set.

I popped into the Newhaven branch to obtain a quote for replacement brake discs and pads. I had obtained quotes from other garages but, Formula one Auto centres gave me the best price and were able to do the work the same day. The manager was extremely courteous and explained every aspect of the job to me in layman’s terms. The work was carried out quickly and I was kept informed as to the progress of the work throughout the day. Great service all round!!

Took my car there because a warning light came on saying my brakes needed checking so I took it to the Newhaven centre and they said it was a loose connection and it was fine to drive,got home took it to my local garage and lo and behold I need new shoes and pads because they were not checked by the staff in Newhaven

I recently used the Newhaven branch to service my car. I was very impressed how efficient and friendly the member of staff who carried out the service on my vehicle was. If I remember correctly I think his name was Stephen. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Dropped in with an emergency tyre issue. Staff were immediately on the case, found the puncture and fixed it extremely quickly.

Amazing customer service, friendly staff and expert repair work. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
