Would give them zero if I could

Would give them zero if I could. Got told they could do an emissions test because my car hadn’t had a service and was a diesel…yet it’s a petrol, which I advised. Got told that it was still the same. Phoned their customer services and got told they’d never heard that…not even with a diesel. Got phoned back by the garage who said he’d had a bad day and it was because my coolant level was below minimum, which when I checked it wasn’t. Do not go to the tyldesley centre ever!

Friendly staff and couldn’t be more…

Friendly staff and couldn’t be more helpful, taking time to explain things and all charges are clearly listed. There was no pressure to have work done on site and nothing was done without checking with me first. Did some comparisons and the prices are very reasonable. We had work done and the repairs were completed the same day. Genuine and honest mechanics. Shoutout to the Tyldesley branch!

Tyldesley F1Autos excelled

The Tyldesley F1Autos centre performed a prompt and friendly MOT for my 2015 Dacia Sandero, which passed smoothly. They also allowed the special on-line discount despite booking direct. Well done guys.

Tyldesley branch

Tyldesley branch. Last year the advisory on my cars mot said the steering box needed adjusting as there was evidence of looseness. My car does not have a steering box! This year my car was failed due to a slow puncture which is allegedly causing a problem with the braking. There was a perfectly serviceable spare in the boot which could have been swapped over in minutes. Mechanic said it needed rebooking as they are only doing mot’s at the moment so he wouldn’t change the wheel. Gave them a chance and they blew it. Stay away from this branch and this company.

Booked my Audi for Oil & Filter change

Booked my Audi for Oil & Filter change. Waited and paid went to drive away & warning light on "Gearbox fault"
Transpired they drained my gearbox instead of Engine! Then thinking theyd draind my engine, filled my Eng up with oil on top of a full sump!
They refunded me but its going back again this Sunday to have Eng Oil drained to correct level.

Booked a service and mot for monday…

Booked a service and mot for monday 13th Jan.
Dylan greeted me at the reception desk
Such a friendly person.
All the jobs that needed doing got done that day and have had no problems with the car.
Dylan kept me informed which jobs needed doing to the car and explained about the jobs.
He was very helpful
I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family

Online booking doesnt work

Booked online, attended for the booking to be told it hadn't been booked, and they could not do the job. No apology, no explanation.

Useless…

Turned up for my scheduled appointment for an MOT, only to be told the MOT ramp had been removed and would only be available again in the new year. No prior notification. First and last time I book with Formula One Autocentres

WOMEN AVOID!

WOMEN AVOID!

ABSOLUTE COWBOYS...

Took my car for MOT was called an hour later advising that my car had failed due to Track rod end ball joint has excessive play and Parking brake efficiency below requirements however he wasn't able to elaborate until he had stripped it down. I received a call later and was told that I needed new brake pads and discs on both side at the rear. I advised him to go ahead with the work. I collected my car later that day and upon parking the handbrake failed causing my car to roll down my driveway. I contacted the garage only to be told that this must've happened between me leaving the garage and getting home and that they would have to look at the car and repair at a cost, ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!! this was obviously an error on their part and are just looking to get more money out of me, leaves me to question had my husband taken the car, would this have been the outcome?! My car had also obviously been re-tested and passed the MOT however stating advisories for the work that he had carried out, surely these should not be on there as advisories if these were no longer an issue. This is the first and last time I ever take my car to these people, if I could give a zero-star rating, I would be. I'm considering reporting them to VOSA.

I’d missed my MOT date due to ongoing family circumstances, they fitted me in, did a fantastic job, and above all, were pleasant, polite and professional. Emergency clutch issue

Took my car in for clutch issues,Sunday 17th March 2024.the guy was brilliant,think his name was naz,he did me a quick fix until the part came in,he was so polite,offered me a tea or coffee,explained everything to me regarding car issue.booked me in for Wednesday,for permanent fix.would recommend the mechanic and the garage.we have always taken our cars there for mots etc.100% satisfied with service.hes a superstar.

Fantastic Team

What a great team. My granddaughters car failed its mot breaks lagging and the garage where the mot was done could not fit it in for 3 weeks, I called into this garage this was on Friday the 8th March, I spoke to Carl the manager and he told me to bring it back on Sunday 10th March. Carl worked on the car most of the day on Sunday and brain stormed with other managers and solved the problem, The car was retested today 11th march and passed the mot. What a great manager very professional, helpful and excellent customer service skills. where as the other garage were quite the opposite. I highly recommend this garage and the fabulous team there, 100% getting my business from now on and also will highly recommend to family and friends. Thanks you so much Debbie and Rhian

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking! Can’t be trusted with an oil and filter change. Had to come back 2 times and it’s still not fixed. All engine lights flashing and motor messed up! So frustrating. Never again!

4 tyres fitted no issues

Had no issues with Tyldesley garage, arrived early and they said they will ring me when fitted 4 tyres and did a free winter check. A hour later they rang and job done. Emailed me invoice and off I went. No problems and staff friendly and helpful.

Really good service from Tyldesley formula one, staff extremely helpful and efficient. This will be my go to garage for the future mechanical work I need doing to my car.
