Terrible experience
We had booked our stay for 3 nights at Azaya beach resort through FABgetaways. The first night at Azaya ( happened to be our wedding anniversary) it started raining and the water started pouring (not dripping) throught the false ceiling. In the middle of the night we had to the change room. We were not happy with the new room provided as we wanted the bathtub outside (like it was in the first room). We were then asked to wait till next morning so that we can shift to a room with the bathtub outside.
Next morning, they provided us with a room (in the same villa) with bathtub outside as requested. We returned in the evening after a day of sightseeing and retired to our room. At around 3 in the night, I woke up to the sound of water gushing through the false ceiling and the area near the door starting to flood. I didn't have the energy after a tiring day to again change rooms in the middle of the night.
The next morning, we requested for another room change as the floor was still wet. They agreed and moved us to a new room in a different villa.
In a stay of 3 nights, we ended up staying in 4 rooms and disrupted sleep for the first 2 nights.
Certainly with our experience, we would not suggest Azaya to anyone.

Awesome 🤩
The resort is simply awesome. It was clean, staff was helpful and our stay was perfect.
We had a sea plane transfer, it was an experience of a lifetime.
Both the villas the beach villa and the water villa that we had our stay in were perfect 🤩
We had booked the villas without a private pool, once we reached the resort we got a surprise upgrade in both villas which had private pools.
The only trouble we faced was with vegetarian food, there is too little to choose from for vegetarians.

Our stay at the Intercontinental was…
Our stay at the Intercontinental was perhaps one of the best till date. Particularly the staff needs a special mention as they took care of every need and personally greet the guests. The location and the hotel is fantastic and very comfortable.
The food is also quite amazing considering the large and quality spread for the buffet breakfast.

The island was amazing and the hospitality was top notch.
No complaints whatsoever.
Starting from the room the decor view maintenance everything was great.
The food was awesome and the best thing was balinese massage.

Excellent Stay
Holiday Inn property was clean and good. We hoped the food was a tad better. May be it was the crowd but still would have liked better food. My kids and wife had a great time too.

Overall good stay with average food
The stay was overall good. There was a lot of dust beneath the bed. The hotel staff never cleaned it. They could have cleaned it. Breakfast was good for both days but dinner was equally bad. Looks like they have different chefs for both the meals.

The resort facilities and services were good but the resort is located in a remote location far away from the main city and tourist attractions and there is virtually no mode of transport at the resort.

I had to go through couple of issues…
I had to go through couple of issues with my booking. First they said no to dinner twice on my stay even though I booked for 3 nights and later they refused me a drink per day per person even though it was included. They end up providing both when I show them inclusions in my original booking. My point is if I am booking my stay in 5 star hotel/resort, I want everything to be seamless. We also had to experience lot of power cut during my stay, food was cold more than 2 times including breakfast. I feel like they were feeding leftovers from day before. Photos on website is also not accurate or old.

Memorable Maldivian Holiday
Nicely planned trip. Bhumika & team were very prompt and responsive. There was a slight confusion between resort and FAB about inclusion of RT PCR tests though it was amicably resolved. Overall we had a memorable time.
