The fees are excessive

The fees are excessive. When your plan ends instead of taking what you need to pay they take the full monthly fee which is bizarre as its leaves you out of pocket and causes them more work to do in a refund. They will also gladly allow you to drop the level of your payment to keep you paying the high monthly fees.

I wish I could give less than one star.

I am currently an IVA customer with this company, and unfortunately, I feel that they have made my situation worse rather than helping me improve it. Communication has been extremely poor. They set deadlines for me, yet they don’t respond to my emails — even when the matter is urgent. The only way I can get any information is by calling them myself, which is incredibly frustrating.

Choosing to go with this company has been my worst decision. I expected support and guidance during a difficult financial situation, but instead I have experienced stress and lack of communication.

I would not recommend them based on my experience.

Avoid the stress

It's been okay until nearly the end. Someone gave me money to pay it off and you would think that was simple, no.
Told 2 to 3 weeks for lenders to let them know full amount left, 5 weeks later nothing, I have checked the debt holders websites and none of them say such length for contacting back. Lots of emails and financial wellness group still tell me nothing. My balance on the app is no longer updating, they say it's because they are waiting for final balance but that makes no sense because they still sent them that money and if they never get back to me then what they just going to keep taking money from me forever. Honestly I think it's because they don't want to lose their fee. Now I'm worrying all the time and struggling to sleep because they won't even communicate with me properly. Avoid and just make arrangements yourself.

Lazy people

I have used these for 5 years and I have needed a new car since December they have been inactive and I have been waiting 2 months for something that they say takes 3-5 days

After coming out of an abusive relationship where I had money stolen and my debt built up from this, I had a call with them where they were able to help straight away, I didn’t feel judged or embarrassed and they were very understanding of the situation. They were always happy to help whenever I had any questions or issues and felt like emails were replied to in good timing. My debt plan has now finished and I’ve never felt more relieved!

Financial Hell Group

What a horrible mess of a service, they keep loosing information, are horrible with updates, they say they will reach out once they review my emails, and they never do. They have been a source of stress and anxiety for over 5 years now. I have paid more money that my debt was (yes because I pay also for all their fees that amount to few cool thousands-for their ridiculous customer service I assume). Going with this company was the worst decision ever, if you ever consider IVA go talk to your local Citizen Advice, don't get scammed into this madness.

Well I'm now into my 5 and a half…

Well I'm now into my 5 and a half payments on a 5 year plan,say no more, I should have gone further with my complaints on this company but they were so helpful when my last review wasn't very good for them that I thought they would keep me up dated, no heard nothing from them when I was promised phone calls regular,send my important information details to them ,they send me wrong address,and my mail is in mail heaven and when they finally get my bank details and say they have returned them,still haven't received important information back,guess that's in mail heaven I'll be glad when this iva has finished been a nightmare,let's just hope I don't go into year6 of a 5 year plan,

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever, have constantly lost information sent, then move goal posts then make no contact for over a year after the IVA finished then out of the blue I owe additional monies. Set up a payment plans for remaining amount allegedly owed as couldn’t be bothered to keep stating what was wrong. Got payment plans and still get threatening letters I am in breach of IVA agreement when it’s been their mistakes one after another and a payment plan in place. Would not recommend this company to my worse enemy to assist as made what should have been straight forward more stressful and upsetting.
This is all at the most stressful time of the year and also all during finding out family member has cancer and ongoing treatment and they just send threatening letters whilst we are already in enough distress all of which they have been informed of.
Do not use if you value your sanity and peace and will be addressing issues with ombudsman’s now

Try to rip you off

I logged in to my account in September which was when I was due to finish my payment and it said I owe £59.90 I cancelled my direct debit as I was paying £189 a month and didn't want them taking out £189 as I only owed £59.90 and when I logged in again it said I owe £388.60. I emailed them to query it and was sent an email saying I owe £295.60 but my account is still showing I owe £388.60. I'm not paying it simple as that, they don't have a clue what they're doing or how much I actually owe. My contract was until September and as it said in September I owe £59.90 that's all I am prepared to pay, not £295.60 as stated in the email or £388.60 as it now says on my account. They add more money on but don't tell you why it's suddenly gone up. I email and asked and they didn't reply. If you want my £59.90 I will pay it but I am not paying any more because I'm not paying what I don't owe.
