Fitness Superstore - Northampton Avis 

I wanted in depth advice before making a high ticket purchase and James was more than accommodating spending more than 20-minutes with me on the phone. Very good customer service, good advice and happy with the price and payment options. Fast delivery as well! Highly recommended.

Great service. Had a crack on one of the weight plates and the process was very smooth and efficient when getting the replacement organised.

Brilliant company. Massive showroom and really helpful/knowledgeable staff (big thanks to Leon!). Ordered there and then at the showroom and 5 mins later the stuff was in my boot and on my way. Excellent!

I have purchased several items from Fitness Superstore Northampton Branch.
On 25th November 2025 I placed an order with Leon who is approachable, professional and patient he answered all of my questions and I had many... always do! I purchased the Body Power Titan Multi-Functional Cable Smith Trainer and a load of accessories. I must have been in the store for nearly 2 hours playing with it and Leon was able to strike the right balance between being there to support me whilst also giving me space to explore and make my own decision. I liked this very much.
On 24th December 2025 Carl provided the most excellent delivery and installation service for the above - He too is friendly, professional and very, very quick and I could not fault his service. Thank you Carl!
Since my first visit to the Northampton Branch I have purchased a Slant Adjustable Squat Ramp, a Nordic Curl Bench and a Tib Bar my last purchase on 13th May 2026. I always ask for Leon who I trust to do what he says he will - I have required a couple of minor admin corrections and he has been supportive in remedying those, maybe not as quick as I would like but he has always come through! He supports me and my business to purchase the items that make my clients and myself happy and I shall continue to seek out his help in the future. Thank you Leon 👍🏽

The selection of equipment available is fantastic for all budgets. Now is a perfect time to get yourself in shape. Get yourself down there and have a nosey about you never know you mind find what you've been looking for.

Ordered some additional weights for a home delivery. A bought all my machines and free weights from Northampton Branch and always received excellent service

Josh was a great help in helping us choose the right kit and with sorting out all the paperwork etc.

The equipment itself is amazing and genuinely feels like commercial grade equipment.

My only gripe is that the communication with the delivery team was automated emails from them and then after 2 weeks a phone call to arrange delivery. The delivery service was good other than it took 2 weeks.

Honestly really disappointed at how they handle an issue. I gave them the time and space to resolve and it’s been totally disrespectful.

Received my huge delivery and it was missing a 30kg Dumbell.
Raised this issue with the dispatch team and they advised they are liaising with the courier to see if they have it (1 week) this should be resolved between the retailer and the courier and the customer shouldn’t be affected by that.
1 week later I receive an email stating that a failed delivery attempt was made and I will have to pay £50 for them to attempt redelivery. I was not notified this would happen, given a slot or even advised they were processing a replacement!
All I want is to receive the full goods I originally paid for and shown some respect from the retailer.
Disappointed is an understatement. Remains unresolved and will be raising to trading standards if required.

Quality aside, I have been buying gym equipment from Fitness Superstore since 2021, what has struck me most with my most recent experience is the customer service. They really to go above and beyond and seem to want to retain customers in the long term.

I am grateful to everyone who helped me sort a recent request, every single member of the central team and Chelmsford, were fantastic.

Good company overall staff friendly and helpful delivery was a day late which was annoying as I paid for a faster delivery service

We drove down to Nottingham branch to check out the Folding rack we were interested in.. We weren't disappointed. It looks like a well engineered piece of kit well though out and well made.. Max was very helpful no pressure just happy to help with any questions.. They did us a great deal on the plates and bars we needed . Overall very happy with the experience.. 👍
