A very helpful Company, pleasant efficient staff,I used their Roofix 20/10 for my roof, had surplus cans, no
problem to return them & receive full credit.
I would definitely recommend Flag Paints

Having reviewed Flag Paints on Trustpilot before I hesitated adding yet another review but now have decided the whole world should hear, that despite Flag being such a small company their service standards are top notch and their products are pretty good as well...!

I usually pop down to their Essex coast (don't forget the fish & chips) factory location and pick up a batch of their Roofix 20/10 (great easy to use paintable durable flat roof repair) but on this occasion an urgent job occurred and my cupboard was bare, so I was on the phone to the ever so amiable and helpful first line contact at Flag, Barbara, who sent off a postal refill - received within 24 hrs!

Ohps my calculations were wrong and to get a solid job done I usually put two coats of Roofix down so with bad weather on its way I was soon on the phone to Barbara again; she remembered our previous conversation and the order. She knew in advance of asking, what I wanted. Great service at a time when I had recently been dealing with a seperate issue with a much larger (unmentionable here) company and it was a complete disaster. Shame larger doesn't neccessarily mean better.

Back to Flag; the front line staff are great but the same high level of attention and service standards appears with back room staff as well - Hazel gets a mention for organising the billing correctly and for the dispatch, this time to a site address. All went like clockwork!

The products speak for themselves but it doesn't matter how good the product is if it doesn't arrive in time or goes to the warehouse when you've ask for it to go to site and its always good to have the comfort of knowing they can pull products out of the bag when you are in a tight corner and need things quickly.

All in all Flag Paints make the top end of my top ten suppliers (and get 5 Stars from me for product and service) I'm glad I discovered them - I hope you will have a similar great experience with their products and service!

Staff there were sooooo helpful went well above and beyond for me.

I had occasion to contact this company with a recent delivery of Black Magic paint. (which one of the best paints I have ever used for covering rusting or scruffy items)
The communication was first class, and the resolution to my problem was dealt with at the highest level.
A replacement was delivered to me within a few days.

I ordered four cans of Roofing Repair paint and I only ended up using one. I send a message via Flag Paints Ltd's website asking to return them but I never heard anything back for months. I then rang them and was told that they don't accept returns. I respect that's their policy but they should make it clear on their website.

EDIT: Despite the comment from FLAG Paints Ltd I did buy the products from them and the box makes this clear. I provided evidence of this to Trustpilot which is why they verified my review. When I rang FLAG Paints I was told the reason I couldn't return the order was because it was non-refundable (I can't see where it says this on their website). I don't understand how FLAG Paints Ltd have decided I didn't buy from them as they never asked me for any evidence.

Have tried other roofing paints to stop leaking roof without success until tried flag roofix 20/10 no more leaks will definitely use again when needed

As per my below review, this matter has now been sorted out.

I do not know if it was Ideal World or Roofix that sorted the problem out, but a replacement tin has just been received, I have checked it and it is fine.

Also since my last review, we did use the good tin I received and am very happy with it.

I would purchase this again, but in future I will go directly to Roofix, so there is no third party involved.

Ordered 2 tins of Roofix via Ideal World at over £50 per tin

Arrived in 2 packages on the 19th October

On 25th October opened both packages to use, only to find that 1 of the tins had been previously opened and resealed, and when sent to me had leaked in the new packaging, (both tins were dented).

I immediately took pictures and contacted Ideal World, and at 8.30 pm received a notification from Ideal World that the suppliers of Roofix had refused all liability as I had not reported the issue within 24 hours of delivery, so they had no recourse against the delivery company.

What neither Roofix or Ideal World fail to realise is that as a previously opened tin of Roofix was sent to me as a new tin this has nothing to do with the courier company.

Only Roofix or the company that supplies Roofix are responsible for me being sent a previously opened tin, and by selling/sending me a previously used product, this is fraud as it was sold to me as new regardless of when I opened the package.

I will be reported this incident to Trading Standards

Brilliant product, I have used it on different roof services since 2011, and it has never let me down yet. Just bought 2 tins today for next project, and I know it will resolve the issue.
Even my builder is amazed by it.

Used their Flag HD Elastomeric paint for our driveway to give the concrete slabs a bit of a refresh. Paint quality and coverage seems to be really good, time will tell in regards to longevity. Colour was dark grey and looks dark grey in the container but it has a blue tint on our slabs, not a big deal for us. Customer service was absolutely amazing, cannot fault them there at all. They're really helpful and quick at replying.

I ordered twenty litres of paint from Flag on 28 March to allow me to continue to work on the house during the pandemic.I realised the following day that the virus may well have slowed things down so I emailed Caroline at Flag to ask what the likely delay would be. She responded within minutes to say that the paint would go out on the Monday (30th) by FedEx and I should receive it the following day.I then ordered a further five litres of another colour which I was told would be sent on the Tuesday.Both deliveries arrived the following morning. I could not believe it.Their speed of reaction and customer communication were fantastic and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
