Shocking awful service

This sofa is actually really uncomfortable the back of it is sagging already with normal daily use the quality of this product is awful. When discussing with the company about the poor quality and sagging they have tried completely ignored this and said that it just doesnt meet my own expectations no the material is sagging and the fabric is so poor quality much more use and it will start to flake. The company are also failing to comply with the consumer rights Act 2015, 26 days is within the 30 day time frame for a refund for faulty goods which this is faulty because the fabric is sagging after minimal use. They are also trying to charge me for the cardboard box the sofa came in and for collection too! They have increased the charges repeatedly trying to get me to back down. I will take this further. the delivery service was shocking left the sofa in the hallway didnt try and help me get it in the front room and the quality of the sofa is rubbish I have had to try and sell it and had to get a new one which is much better. not from this company i will add the new company delivery drivers set the new sofa up for me your delivery drivers just left an unopened massive box in the hallway which I will add is a massive fire escape risk I wouldnt have been able to get out of my house if I needed to!!
All in all wont be using that service again

After carefully evaluating your order, we note that the return request has been raised after 26 days. Based on the images provided, the item does not show any faults and appears to have a normal finish. The concern you have highlighted relates to the underside of the sofa, which seems to have occurred while moving the item into the front room.

We would like to reiterate that we have been selling this range of sofas for the past 5 to 6 years, and we have not received any complaints regarding quality issues. While we have occasionally received feedback related to transit damage, no such issues have been identified in your case.

As a gesture of goodwill, we are still willing to arrange a collection for a refund on a one-time basis. However, a collection charge of £80 will apply, and the item must be packed in its original packaging, as previously advised by our support team.

Regarding the courier, we are confident in their service. Their responsibility is to deliver the item to the hallway only, which is in line with their delivery terms, and we generally receive positive feedback from customers regarding their service.

As mentioned, the return request appears to be based on the item not meeting your expectations, rather than due to any manufacturing fault.
