Super friendly staff, no pressure and a coffee bar to boot. Ended up buying a great sofa 👍🏻

David gave us good advice, plenty of time to think and try different mattresses without hassling us.
He was very easy to deal with and obviously knowledgeable about the goods.
The mattress we chose will be perfect for our needs and at a very good price.
We returned to Furniture Village because of past experience of quality of products and service

Very pleased, Constantinos was most helpful when we originally ordered the items, a 2 seater sofa and a reclining chair & footstool.
Delivery was at expected timescale and the 2 delivery drivers Beta & Rausheed were brilliant, helpful, efficient and tidy.

I made two visits to Furniture Village to find an armchair which suited me and on both occasions your assistant was very helpful and knowledgeable. On my final visit bringing my wife along, we agreed on the purchase of a chair and the whole process going forward was conducted very smoothly.

Great range of stock - very helpful sales team - Gary was very helpful and explained everything clearly to us. And even showed us some other options on colour.

We had an unacceptable handling of a large furniture order we placed with Furniture Village at the end of September 2025 for our new home.

The order included multiple sofas and additional items. We were assured at the time of purchase that the full order would be delivered before Christmas, which was essential as we were hosting family. Unfortunately, since then, we have received only part of our order. The largest and most important sofa has still not been delivered.

As a temporary measure, Furniture Village provided a two-seater sofa. This was not a like-for-like solution and was wholly inadequate for our needs, particularly given the size of our household and the circumstances under which it was provided.

Since Christmas, we have been in repeated contact with the store manager, Konstantinos, who advised us weekly that he was “chasing the warehouse.” Each promised delivery date was subsequently pushed back, week after week, with no clear explanation or resolution.

In mid-January, we were finally told that a confirmed delivery date had been secured and that the warehouse would contact us directly. On 26 January, we received a call from the warehouse confirming delivery for 29 January and advising that payment was required in advance. We were also told that a delivery time window would be provided on 28 January.

Trusting this information, we made the payment in full. However:

* No delivery time window was provided on 28 January
* No delivery took place on 29 January
* No proactive communication or explanation was offered

At this point, we have paid for an item that has not been delivered, have no clarity on where the sofa is, and no understanding of where our money currently stands.

This situation has caused us significant distress. We are a neurodiverse family, and the ongoing uncertainty, repeated delays, broken promises, and lack of communication have severely heightened our anxiety and caused genuine mental health distress. What should have been a straightforward furniture purchase has become unnecessarily complicated, frustrating, and emotionally exhausting.

In addition, we took time off work specifically to accommodate a delivery that did not take place, resulting in further personal and financial impact.

Huge disappointment.

Excellent service by Iain at the Guildford store, clearly had a great understanding of the various options across range and helped us come to a decision without pressuring us. Would highly recommend his help if you are going. Thank you very much.
