Had a brilliant experience today with Andy. He was kind, understanding and very professional. He went through everything in great detail and made sure he got the most out of what we wanted. Make sure you look out for Andy for your salesman he is top notch! Thankyou we will be back again

We had the pleasure of being greeted by Jay who brought us coffee and cookies, then gave us space to look around before helping us make the right choice. No pressure, just good advice and input. A pleasure to be helped by a very very nice man.

I initially gave a 5 star review however now I am putting 1 star. My advice is to avoid the commission based upsell on sofas by furniture village it’s a con to get more money. Kevin at Preston store was very professional however he was probably was unaware he was selling a scam. I would never have gone for the protection insurance if I knew they couldn’t help me with a faulty sofa and they have been very unhelpful and dismissive. DO NOT BUY PROTECTION COVER as it is a con.

That’s my advice, it’s doesn’t cover your sofa it’s just a way of making money and what was explained to me at the time of purchase.

Lesson learn in life eh- insurance is a scam!

Sadly the con of protection cover has ruined my trust furniture village as they are selling it and I won’t be going back there for next sofa.

Also I didn’t get a response from VF for my 5 star review last year so they don’t really care about customers just after the money.

We were greeted when we entered the store.The enviroment was clean, well arranged and pleasant with an overall relaxing atmosphere. The furniture was of good quality with lots of choice.
Shiva was very attentive but not overbearing giving us time to browse. She also provided helpful tips about many different options, colours and combinations.
Shiva went above and beyond to help and we were pleased with our furniture, delivery times and price. We'll defintly return to the store in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff were very welcoming. Benjamin was able to advise us on what mattress to pick. He seemed to have good knowledge.

Had a visit to preston store saw a lovely assistant carolyn she was so lovely and very helpful bought a lovely table and chair set

We were served by Andy Mottley who was absolutely brilliant answered all our questions gave us plenty of time to look around the store and when we decided what suite we wanted he went into all the details he was very very professional well done Andy it was a pleasure doing business with you.

The minute we walked into the store, staff almost jumped on my partner and I.
We hadn't even had chance to take a look at the first sofa!
I understand the sales process but this was infuriating! Another couple also in front of ourselves also had the same negative experience. You could litterally see staff competing with each other to get to customers first. We politely declined any assistance or advice on size, shapes and sales, however it did continue.

When finally, we did find furniture of our own personal choice, again we were greeted by 2 sale reps at once. One having to give in to the other.
Even worse and more frustrating, whilst completing the sale paperwork, it became a battle for the sales person to sell us every extra product he could possibly think of.. After telling him FOUR times, we weren't interested he then appeared to change mood and stated, would you like it free? At this point were ready for leaving the sale and walking away!

I couldn’t recommend Andy Mottley highly enough for such an enjoyable sofa shopping experience. I never felt rushed or pressured into a hard sell. Andy took the time to listen to exactly what we wanted, considered the space we had available, and made sure we chose the right option for our home. He made me feel like a genuinely valued customer rather than just another sale. Thank you, Andy! We’re really looking forward to having our cinema sofas delivered.
