Furniture Village - Sheffield Avis 

6 furniture shops later that day I walked in furniture village, I approached Jez the lovely sales guy who with out any pressure really helped me. I spotted my sofa straight away and very patiently he answered my questions and I asked them over and over again 😂 after 5 shops and a long day Jez was the first to offer me a well needed cuppa! My experience was great, no pushing, understanding and very patient. I can t wait for my new sofa to come now ! Thank s Jez great salesman !!!

Sales guys were informative and not pushy. Sofa is well made and of good quality. Everything works as it should and is very comfy. Delivery team were spot on and assembled it in no time. Even used floor coverings and removed all packaging. Would recommend.

The member of staff that helped us was really helpful and explained the pros and cons of the different table tops which helped us come to a decision.

Lovely sales person, no pressure sale and very good customer service and knowledge. Came out of the Drake house, Sheffield store very happy indeed.

Spoke to Kiran on 03.07.2026 to report an issue with our sofa. He handled the call well, and organised a sofa technician to come out and assess the issue. Was polite and courteous throughout.

No hard sales. Omar was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Prices were competitive. Great selection.

We were approached by Jez Groom, salesperson, who asked great questions on what our requirements were and directed us to the best material for our sofa needs. He gave good guidance and assisted us with sofa types, materials and sizing. He also explained benefits of each sofa we were considering. He also was willing to request a special material order from the manufacturer if we required. He advised on colour and positioning of electrical points on the sofa we eventually chose and did a great deal for us on both the sofa and a clearance chair we wanted.
Highly recommend for a pressure free sofa shopping experience with knowledgeable and friendly sales team. Great customer focus.

So…..
went in the first time and was offered a “deal” of £2000 for a corner sofa and footrest.
Second time I went in having thought about things was offered £1750 for the exact same.
Next day went in to buy however, the sales person gave me the wrong material book so the one I wanted wasn't available!
Took a while to ponder over the other options and once I decided the still got the price wrong whilst calculating ( this was the first person I saw who knew what I wanted!)
Eventually got the price which was steep given the issues but decided to go ahead.
Still waiting for the sofa so hopefully it will be ok….? Will post further on receipt.
Overall… I’m not impressed. Cocky sales people, can’t get the basics right and can’t even get the price the same?!! Just poor in general!!

We had a good experience from showroom to delivery. Sofa arrived in 6 weeks and was installed (power recliner) by James and James quickly and professionally .

I ordered a 180cm table from Furniture Village and paid for everything in full, including the product, insurance and the assembly service.

The table that was delivered and assembled turned out to be incorrect. Although it was labelled as 180cm, it actually measured 220cm. Because their team carried out the assembly, I initially assumed everything was correct. It was only after the table looked noticeably too large in the room that I measured it properly and realised the mistake.

I contacted customer service immediately to report the issue. The response was disappointing and lacked any real urgency or accountability. There was no clear admission of fault or concrete solution provided, just a vague statement that they would “get back to me.” Given I had already paid in full for both the item and the assembly, I expected a straightforward resolution.

I also requested compensation for the inconvenience caused, time lost, disruption, and the stress of dealing with a wrongly supplied product that had already been assembled in my home. This was refused on the grounds that they do not offer compensation.

As it stands, I have a product that is not what I ordered, had it assembled in my home, and am now left with no proper resolution. The experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
