Furniture Village - Thurrock Avis 

Was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and choice in store. Staff were all attentive without being in your face and then when I was ready for help, Alex was absolutely brilliant. So pleased with how he was with me. Really informative and had excellent product knowledge but no pushy sales spiels and I really felt well cared for and welcomed. He was totally unfazed and didn’t push me when I said I wasn’t ready to purchase and need to go home and do more measurements and I went back a couple of days later to make the purchase. Dealt with him again and he welcomed me like a genuine old friend. Really smart young man and a credit to the company. He spoke so highly of the company as well which was genuinely nice to hear and it was clear he loved his job and the company. I ended up crying on the poor thing at one point (widowed and menopausal), and he seemed genuinely crestfallen hed upset me: he hadnt, I was just thinking of the last table my husband and I had bought and the memories etc. He was just so incredibly kind and empathetic and a great asset and lovely young man.

Alex was very helpful, patient and friendly, my mother was so pleased with the different options given to ensure the items brought where’s exactly what was wanted , very pleased with service provided .

Had a fantastic experience with Suzette at Furniture Village today. We ended up buying loads of furniture, and the whole experience was made so much easier thanks to her.

She was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable without being pushy at all. She took the time to understand what we were looking for, gave us great advice and made the whole process enjoyable.

Honestly, without suzette and Daryl’s help I probably would have walked out without buying anything! 😂 they both definitely deserves recognition for his customer service.

Would highly recommend Suzette at Furniture Village, and Daryl, if you’re looking for furniture and want a genuinely helpful salesperson.

Spotted furniture online, and even though I could not go into the store in Thurrock as too far away, special mention to Paula Mukadaya who was brilliant, so very helpful, knowledgeable and very nice to speak to, sent me video of the sofa and chair, took measurements, answered all my questions and was always available to speak to, could not be happier with the service I received, Paula arranged all the paperwork, and organize delivery and pick up my old sofa. Thank you so very much Paula for all your help and support through this process, and would recommend Furniture Village to anybody wanting sofas, beds, furniture. Thank you so much Paula. Tom

My daughter & I were greeted & welcomed by Alex at Furniture Village. Lakeside. My daughter & I were having a trying out of furniture day in Lakeside as she is in the process of buying her new home & is in need of a few items of furniture including a bed, mattress & sofa. As she knew what mattress she wanted (she had tried it out at our local store) so we went into FV to make sure it was exactly what she wanted.
From the start Alex was considerate & very patient with us answering our questions or any concerns we had & wanted to help get the best deal he could for us. He was very knowledgable about the product & what we could expect after delivery. I ended up buying the same mattress as my daughter because mine is awful & this one is extremely comfortable. We had a good few hours of trying out other mattress & sofas in other stores but nothing matched the mattress she had already chosen. After returning Alex gave us the space & time we needed to work out how best to have the mattresses delivered & looking at payment options.
Alex completed the paperwork n as king sure everything was satisfactory for us & reassured us of any concerns we had & how we could best proceed if we needed to change any details.
We are both extremely pleased with our mattresses & the service we received from Alex.

Suzzette Williams was an amazing sales person. Exactly helpful, listened to what we wanted and wasn’t pushy.

The Sales Consultant , Shane Brown from the Lakeside, West Thurrock was excellent, explained things clearly and was very helpful.

Paula, who helped us from start to finish, was absolutely excellent. She was professional, very friendly, and provided us with great guidance throughout our purchase. Her knowledge and helpful approach made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. She is a great asset to this store, and we truly appreciate all her help.

We were really pleased with the quality and price of our purchases - we can't wait for our new sofas, dining room table and chairs and tv unit to arrive. We spent more than a day looking at all Furniture Village's competitors at Lakeside, Thurrock and Furniture Village were the clear winner on range of choice, style, quality and value for money.

What really made the experience was the customer service from Alex. He talked us through the pros and cons of the various options - his product knowledge was superb - and he took a real interest in our needs without being pushy or dismissive. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Alex!

Overall, highly recommended and we'll definitely be shopping with Furniture Village in the future.
