You might not get your rewards

When I tried to cash out I consistently get met with what seems to be purposeful obstacles. No response from customer service. Just locked my account with no explanation. Seems to be a common complaint among users. You won't be able to collect your earnings. Feels pretty scammy.

3 cents off a gallon

3 cents off a gallon, big deal. I keep hearing the ad on the radio and what joke. No way I could ever get $200/year... Maybe give us more off per gallon instead of spending so much money on fake advertising... My last fill was supposed to be 3 cents off/gallon but I used my Weis Markets points and they reduced the amount to 1 cent off/gallon. I got 17 cents on a $70 fill-up What a joke... Waste of my time...

Since the merchant is already providing a discount through their own loyalty program, the Upside offer is often reduced to reflect the change in the transaction's margin.

As for our advertisements, the $200 per year figure is based on users who consistently use the app for gas, groceries, and dining combined. While a single fill-up might result in smaller savings, those cents are designed to add up across all your daily spending over time.

No gas stations in my area

I loaded the app and used it at an ARCO station in town and then whenni tried to use it again no gas stations showed up on the app. Granted, we are only about 110,000 people in this town but it should still havecat least one station that can be used.

I had over $30 on the app and one day…

I had over $30 on the app and one day is was gone. If there is a time limit that you have to spend the money they should let you know before they take it away so you can use it. Don't waste your time

Ripped off

We've used upside for a couple of years and for the most part it was good. Then one day my wife looked at her account and saw the $94.00 that she had was gone. Upside wanted all the receipts or our bank statements to show that we purchased gas. I'm surely not going to show my bank statements and of course I don't have the receipts. And the AI is worthless that you talk to. Can't talk to a real person. I'm sure that they can look up our information and see what happened. This happened over a 6 month period. So ignore the date of experience below.

I only give a one because I wanna write this review. All my receipts are delayed pending. This is horrible, especially for a Instacart person.

I’ve been using Upside since January and I’m honestly impressed. I’ve already gotten $76 back just from things I was already buying like gas and food. It’s simple, quick, and feels like free money. Highly recommend giving it a try!

If I could put 0 stars, I would. It is a total scam. There has been 3 times I have used the app to later get a message to check the card number is added to the account. My card number hasn't changed.

Customer support struggles to fix issues and expects customer to do all leg work even though all information is readily available to them. I wouldn’t go out of my way to use gas partners on their platform

Deceptive Ads, little benefits

The ads are deceptive and lead you to believe that you actually receive massive amounts of cashback. It only applies to full priced items, and then it's pennies on the dollar. You will save more money my checking current sales, buying store brands, and earning 1.5% with a free cashback credit card. The hassle of Upside isn't worth the little money it results in. Take your Upside earned cashback and divide it by the calculated, frustrating hours it takes to manage Upside, you will end up with less than minimum wage.

I used to use it often

I used to use it often, living in Illinois. Now that I've moved to southern Oklahoma, there are very few offers of any kind. It really sucks now.

Math isnt Mathing

Yesterday I claimed an offer for 24 cent back per gal on reg...purchase 9.01 gal and only got 36 cent back. Upsides math isnt matching and Im about over it. We will go to the other side/end of town to get these offers some days and its getting to the point it isnt worth it.

I absolutely love upside

I absolutely love upside. Reading other reviews I don't see how other people have had so much difficulty with this app. I have also referred others and they also enjoy the app have also benefited from it. I have cashed out from with this app with the no issues. I really find this app helpful considering how our economy is right now with the war going on and gas prices rising and food prices seem high. So people who are frustrated with this app I suggest maybe try uninstalling it and reinstall it and try it again.

It doesn’t work

It doesn’t work, over a week ago I attempted to use the app and I still have nothing added to my account. I was supposed to get 25 cents a gallon for first fill plus 60 cents a gallon promotion from the Speedway. It’s probably the Chinese wanting Credit card information.

Not worth the trouble

Its always an issue they only want you to use your debit card the return amounts are very low i spent upwards to $200 last mont on gas only to get $4.87 back wow not worth all the trouble
