I was recommended to use Gilson Gray through my estate agent. Aliza was my conveyancer for selling my property and then buying a property a short time later. I was really impressed with how organised and on the ball Aliza was with everything. Unfortunately we experienced some delays in our sale which was out of our control however Aliza was always ready with everything that was needed and pushed the other solicitor firm to speed up.
When it came to buying our property this was a real easy process. I was kept informed by Aliza all the way through the process and although they have a online tracker you can use to view progress, Aliza would keep my informed and updated and did always respond really promptly with any questions I had by email and phone.

I am really happy with the service that Aliza and her team provided. I would highly recommend anyone to use this firm and in particular Aliza and her team.

We selected Gilson Gray to assist with both the purchase of our first home and the sale of our top-floor one-bedroom flat. Overall, our experience was very positive. Communication was prompt, with quick email responses throughout, and we were pleased to complete our move on the agreed date.
That said, we found that the structure of a larger team with multiple departments occasionally made it unclear who would be handling the next stage of the process. Additionally, there were instances where my partner was not included in email correspondence, which led to some minor communication gaps.
Despite these points, we were satisfied with the service provided and appreciate the efficiency and professionalism shown during what can often be a complex process.

Had a great experience with an employment lawyer called Steven, he really went the extra mile to help me with comms to my ex employer and make sure I understood my situation well and got the best package possible

DO NOT use this disgrace of a company! They breached contract, fail to stay in touch with you, change their charges part way through the process, staff swear at you when they eventually get back to you. They lie to you, don't pay the sellers solicitors on time after telling you to collect your new home keys. Pass you from one colleague to another so no one knows where they are up to on your case and ask for more money again. Im 4 months complete now and I'm still having problems, turns out they don't pay your stamp duty and I'm getting fines from HMRC. I have complained several times and they do their usual and ignore you! This isn't going to go away. Please DO NOT i repeat DO NOT even consider this disgusting shambles of a company.

Weekly updates from Gilson Gray kept us informed on how many times the advert was looked at and the number of home report downloads was also shared. They organised the viewings to suit both parties. A sale was achieved within a six week timescale. Would thoroughly recommend Gilson Gray for your house sale.
