Of course, I can't get a live person to help and they charged me within minutes of placing the ordersfor the product. This is the WORST on-line company I've ever dealt with.

Look at ratings on your store reviews I have been a gnc customer for over 20 years and the service I received at the stoncrest location in charlotte was totally unacceptable I had to ask for assistance the guy was irritated he had to be there hire better quality of people his name was James

DO NOT order from GNC online EVER!! Their customer service is atrocious. You can never get through to anyone on chat. When you finally get someone they wait for your chat to time out, while they pretend to resolve your issue and the do not follow up even though they have your phone number and email. I am missing an item from my order. The shipment email and packing slip say it is supposed to be there and it is not. The box had not been tampered with nor damaged. I tried calling and could only reach an automated bot who said they would ship a replacement which was a LIE!!! Only shop IN STORE!!!
Terrible experience, avoid GNC at all costs
If I had seen the reviews of this company before ordering, I would have never placed an order.
I was charged twice for a single order — both my gift card and my PayPal account were billed. I did not authorize my PayPal to be charged, and I have not received a refund.
This is already unacceptable, but what made it worse was the complete lack of customer support. I sent multiple emails and received no response at all.
On top of that, I was later unable to use another gift card, and customer service could not resolve the issue or even explain it properly.
This experience shows serious problems with billing, systems, and customer care.
I will never shop at GNC again and will choose competitors that actually provide reliable service and proper support.
Avoid this "company" if you don’t want to risk billing issues and being ignored.
GNC admitted product never shipped but refused to refund me or ship the product
I ordered 2 products on line from GNC, 1 was delivered, in their chatroom I spoke to a rep explained that I only recieved 1 or the 2 items order. She needed a few minutes to confirm, when she came back into the chat she confirmed I was just sent the 1, she needed a few more minutes to see when they could ship me the other product. When she returned she said " I don't have good news, your account has been flagged as a new user, so we will not be issuing a credit nor will we be shipping out the product you paid for. I couldn't believe it, I had to read over the transcript again just to make sure I understand what she was telling me, I paid for the product, they never shipped the product, but I would not be receiving a credit or the product becuase I was "flagged as a new user?" Really GNC? The rep was lovely and she continueed to escalate the issue over the next 40 mintues, but only recieved the same results. I was told they would follow up with me yesterday, they never did. No product, No refund. So I took it a step further, I filed a compliant with the Attorney General, the BBB and Consumer Affairs. I sent them all the transcript of the chatroom so they could see for themselves what GNC was trying to get away with.
Thank god I paid with Paypay, once they received the transcript I was refunded with in hours. I am thinking their might be more folks like me out their, and if there are GNC deserves a case action suite to be filed for what they are or have been getting away with.
Refund

When we put to attention of GNC, GNC never refunded the whole amount today is March 4th but still GNC didn't resolve the issue. GNC refuse to give us full refund of 19.99+ tax.
Personal Touch
We have used GNC products for years as we have a house full of son's who are athletes. My high school son decided in his business class to reach out to the company and tell them how much he appreciated their brand and business. He was over the moon when the CEO took the time to write him a personal letter back! Top Notch GNC! Thank you!
Never buy any product from GNC
Never buy any product from GNC, first they give the wrong product and then later they refuse to take it back, sometimes they say that you did not get the product, sometimes something, sometimes something else.
Just Terrible
Just Terrible, I will not be a pro member next year. I call customer service every two weeks twice for my problems to never be resolved. I can never trust customer service anymore. And there web never works. It’s just a headache and a pain in my ass.

Overpriced
I've been using their Whey Protein for 15 yrs. Its already very expensive.
I can only get the Vanilla Custard flavor in the US, so when we go to our place in Florida I stock up.
I went in to pick up a container and I was shocked at the increase in the already overpriced product.
They forced me to shop around, I am now using a different product from Sams Club. Its a Vanilla Milkshake flavor with good quality ingredients, high protein servings, great taste and amazing price.

Scammed out of my money
I’d give zero stars if I could. In store, they’re great but they rarely have what I need. Always out of stock. That forced me to buy what I needed online. The system changed all the information I input and shipped my product elsewhere. I contacted customer support and was told, oh well, there was nothing they could do, and to order more. Why would I do that? Never shopping here again. They’re scammers. They take your money and ship your products wherever they want. Contacting the BBB next.

I’ve visited this location 05848 three times and have consistently had issues with an associate named Jose. He is unprofessional, lacks basic product knowledge, and gives unsolicited advice on items he admits he doesn't understand. After being misled on a pre-workout recommendation and dealing with a rude attitude during my final return, I won’t be seeking assistance from him again. Better training is definitely needed at this branch.
Took full payment
Took full payment, didn’t deliver for 23+ days, gave no updates, no courtesy call. Only after I contacted them, they admitted product not available and refunded on Jan 3. This is not customer service, this is negligence. Don’t trust GNC/Guardian with online orders. Extremely disappointed.
Scam, beware!!
I ordered a product 12/19/25. 4-5 days later I receive an email notification advising the product had been delivered when it had not. I immediately called GNC's customer service, aired my grievances, and was asked to wait an additional 48hrs for the delivery as sometimes, carriers will mark product as delivered when it's actually in route. This made no sense to me, but I complied. 48hrs passed, still no product. I tried calling their customer service a 2nd time and was unsuccessful in getting through after trying 3-4x. I then activated their chat line and chatted with someone named Wilfredo. He said they needed to investigate the matter since the product was marked as delivered. After telling Wilfredo the product was NOT delivered several times, he disconnected our chat. I then circled around to the BBB to lodge a complaint. 24hrs later I get an email from GNC stating the item had been reshipped. However, 5 minutes post receipt of that email, GNC sends another one stating the item was out of stock and the order is cancelled. No discussion about a refund. I again tried calling GNC, can't through again so I opted to activate their chat line. Spoke with a JoAnn 12/29/25 who apologized and assured me a refund within 1-5 business days. It's been 5 business days, still no refund. I tried calling GNC and still could not get through. Dead air each time I tried. By this time, my thought is that GNC blocked my calls. I had my sister call on a 3 way line and coincidentally, got through. I spoke with an Angela and she apologized as she had no record of my prior chat with JoAnn but assured me the refund will be given in 1-5 business days. That call was the morning of 1/3/26. I am beyond drained. GNC essentially advertised a product for sale on their website that they knew wasn't in stock to make illegal profits. I will never do business with this company again.

If I could give negative stars I would! Customer service FAILED miserably. 3 weeks to receive part of my order that I had to call and complain about not having. In the end I will not be receiving the rest of my order because I was told the system would not allow it…. IT IS IN STOCK!
