Knowledgeable, friendly, service oriented staff, from booking through the end of the trip. Booking was easy and we visited wonderful places.

The team did a very good job. Evening reports could have had a bit more information... perhaps some specifics on what we would be seeing the next day or so. Team members were helpful, but seemed to mostly be directing traffic. I didn't really "hear from them" unless I asked a question. Local guides were helpful and did a very good job. No major glitches to report from us. Thank you for an enjoyable tour!

Our flight itinerary was not straightforward. Involved an open jaw and a regional airport. Diane worked to give us the best connections available with the seating we requested. Thank you

Gohagen ran our voyage carefully and efficiently!

The Gohagan company had everything organized to the max. The excursions were great. The ease of travel and the check in were smooth. The group of directors seemed to be well integrated with each other. There was plenty of entertainment and down time as desired.
The crew on board were also awesome. The variety of foods was incredible. The service of gohagan directors and atlas crew was amazing.
As far as the entire experience, we would not change a thing. Looking forward to our next trip with you all!

We had a marvelous experience all around! The trip was efficiently planned and executed by Gohagan.. The tour guides—Laetitia, Teresa, Anthony, and Rudi—were professional, knowledgeable, personable, and kind. The local guides in each port, and the bus drivers. were wonderful. Everything about the World Navigator was exceptional—the crew was so friendly and welcoming. The food and the amenities were outstanding! I loved the sense of community aboard. What a great ship—perfect size. All arrangements by Gohagan such as baggage transfers, hotel check-ins, local trips, etc, were done extremely well. Great choice and variety of hotels. The pre-tour in Norway was also outstanding. We loved the lectures on board the ship. We would not hesitate to travel with you again in the future. As a matter of fact, we will seek you out! We gained much knowledge and many friends on this trip—just what we wanted. Thanks so much! Totally worth the expenditure!

Excellent, great schedule

The logistical support was fantastic. I never worried about where I needed to be when, how I (and my luggage) would get there. Transportation and local guides for excursions were personable and knowledgeable, and Tamara, our tour director, was superb. The only flaw was the amount of walking at each excursion; it would have been nice to have a little more time at some of the cities we visited.

Gohagen promised a great deal and did not deliver. The trip to Morocco, Spain and Portugal was one of the worst trips I have ever taken. They promised a small ratio of tour guides to passengers and that the tours would be in jitneys and smaller vehicles and that we would have excellent attention and problem solving. Not true. Except for one woman guide--they were mediocre and sometimes misinformed. They did not shepherd the passengers or take care of our needs. The trip was touted as having "educational and qualilty" guides (as we were all coming from our college alumni associations and were a highly educated group. Au contraire--mm The guides were mediocre at best and there were so many delays that we were exhausted because we went from 7 am to 7 p......I am sending a letter outlining some of the most offensive things guides did. The ship was excellent and Rudy was a god-send and a point of light but the other guides were fairly disorganized and useless to solve problems or support us. I am sending a long letter outlining what was promised versus what was delivered. We were going to wonderful places and instead of getting a lovely experience of the cultures and people and history--we were run around on and off huge buses. There was little accomodation (which were also promised) for the passengers whose average age was between 60 and 90!!! The trip promised intelligent preparation and keen guides and they were routinely shallow and misinformed. One tour guide boasted about the Imans in a mosque who raped his beautiful worshipper because she was so beautiful she would go to hell. Offensive to the max! And there was only one speaker who gave a really good preparation for what we were to experience. We had almost no time to enjoy the beautiful ship the Atlas Voyager. The food and service of the ship were top notch as compared to the Gohagan management. Except for Rudy. We left completely exhausted instead of rejuvenated.
We were pressured to buy Berber rugs. Our guide in Tangiers was definitely in cahoots with the seller and I am sure took a nice cut of the purchases.
Please note that Rudy was a point of light and solved any problem but if you worked with the others they were disorganized and did little to provide outstanding customer care.

The boat, the boat crew, Gohagan staff, the food were all first class, without a doubt. The organization of the places we visited were was beautifully arranged and the guides offered wonderful insights about the sites. Thank you to all who worked to make this such a wonderful trip.

We have taken two tours via Gohagan and Yale Alumni Travels, the first on Sea Cloud Spirit, the second on Atlas's World Traveler. We love small ship cruises and personal attention, and we're crazy about the Sea Clouds, but World Traveler was probably the most comfortable ship we've been on. I cannot say enough about how responsive your people were, both pre-trip and during the trip. There were too many to mention in our last trip on the Adriatic, beyond Anthony and Dragan, plus the local guides in Italy, Croatia, and Bosnia Herzegovina. Nothing was left to chance. Communications were superb. Everyone was amazingly responsive, especially when I wiped out in the heat outside Bari because the walk from the ship to the City was too long and I had to go back in an Uber. Anthony stayed with me until the car arrived. Note: if the walks from the piers to the cities are this long, golf carts or something might be useful. None of us are as young as we used to be. I appreciated the groups that were adapted for slower-paced walkers. I love the people who were our faculty guides. We've traveled with Elliot before, and he's great. He set up dinners and a cocktail party for our very small group and was a lot of fun. The tours were very active, and I felt guilty if I had to spend a day on board resting up because everything was so fascinating. Your people seemed able to turn on a dime to accommodate requests, and I was impressed by how they noted down feedback about guides. I was thrilled by the opportunity to see the Ravenna mosaics. Very little shopping time, which was just as well -- we did quite enough damage in the time allotted. The food was great. The hotels were well chosen. I appreciated the waiting areas during transit and being escorted to the airport outside Venice. We look forward to the next trip with you.

Great staff, well organized and well run.

The trip was excellent. My suggestions deal mainly with the time prior to the trip. I found it very hard to communicate with Kenyetta. There were emails she didn't answer, phone calls that were not returned. I wasn't certain if she had arranged for the transfers I needed. It turned out all was fine, but I would have liked better communication.

Even when we had other ideas as to what to do than participate in planned tours, the kindly and helpful folks at Gohagan helped us get our wishes done. They also helped us to have the experiences we wanted after the original tour was over. Thanks for absolutely wonderful service!

We appreciated our pre trip assistance. It make us more confident too take the trip. Also on the trip we felt well cared for by staff.

Everything about the trip (the ship, the program, the lecturers) was great -- except for the hotel on the Venice extension. Its public areas were excellent and the staff was helpful, but my bedroom was designed by someone who had never stayed in a hotel before. No well-lit comfy chair for reading, no place to lay out an open suitcase, no explanation of the confusing array of switches and controls.

Extremely good planning, friendly and knowledgeable hosts and very well informed local guides. Perhaps, too detailed. But it was priceless to experience local treasures.

Nice gym, pool and a track. It was very nice to have shade on the ship.

Utterly enjoyed it. The staff were incredible! The ship was pristine! The program was exceptional. And the scheduling was flawless. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

The UNESCO sites were wonderful. Additionally the entire Gohagan staff leading and supporting the tour were everywhere and ready to help with all details including any questions or problems that might arise.
