Absolutely horrible experience. I will never use GolfNow again, and I will make sure others know about this experience as well.

Our tee time in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, was cancelled due to thunderstorms because the golf course determined it was unsafe to play. When I contacted GolfNow to request a refund, I was told they could not process it until they were able to reach the golf course for confirmation. Of course, the course was closed because of the severe weather, yet GolfNow still expected to get ahold of them immediately.

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service while on vacation in Mexico, only to be told that I would have to wait an unknown amount of time for a resolution. This is unacceptable customer service. When a golf course closes due to dangerous weather conditions, customers should not have to fight for a refund or spend their vacation time dealing with this.

Extremely disappointing experience. I will not be using GolfNow again and will be sharing this experience with others so they know how customers are treated when issues arise.

Totally frustrated - participated in the PLAYJUNE promotion - met all the guidelines (reserve by 6/22 and play by 6/25) and was led to believe I would receive 25% off credit via email within 2 days. Called on 6/28 and was told I should receive it within 48 hrs - didn't happen - called again on 7/1 and was told there were problems with the promotion and they were working on it - should receive the credit in 7 to 10 days - totally unacceptable - why didn't they email participants to inform of the issue and offer out a timeline - hard to believe you can screw up a promotion like this so badly - won't be renewing my membership.

Complete rip-off. Extremely difficult refund policy; in fact no refund, just credit, but with tons of limitation; Total bait and switch tactics. Book a course with Golf Now, and you find out when you check in it was cheaper booking directly with the course. Do not use!

Well, I will never use this company again, and you shouldn't either.
Just tried to reschedule a tee time (over 72 hours in advance) to earlier in the day and apparently my original tee time is "nonrefundable" and I'm now out $244 which the company refuses to refund and will only offer me credit to use on another "Hot deal," which is useless to me.
0 flexibility, poor customer service, and a great way to attract NO customer loyalty.

Booking a Hot Deal through GolfNow is a complete waste of time. Sure, you might save a few dollars, but the moment something goes wrong, you're on your own. There is no real customer service just an endless chat system that won't give you a phone number unless you demand to speak with a supervisor. Even after finally reaching one, they were absolutely no help.

To make matters worse, they refused to issue a refund and would only offer a credit. That's unacceptable when the issue can't be properly resolved.

After this experience, I'm done with GolfNow. I'm deleting my account and will never use their service again. I'll also be telling every golfer I know to avoid Hot Deals and book somewhere else. Saving a few bucks isn't worth the terrible customer service and zero flexibility.

Do yourself a favor stay away from Hot Deals. They're not worth the headache.

I went to get my resevation number to put on this review and its not even listed. I called the course they do have my Tee time. Thats the first good thing.

I've been a VIP member of Golf Now and their associated company Tee Off for at least 10yrs or maybe more. Right now I'm not very happy with the fact that Golf Now and Tee Off have cut back on offering discounts in terms of percentages off on Hot Deals. Tee Off periodically would offer 10,20,30 percent on top of Hot Deals. I've not seen it in at least 2 months if not more. Its causing me to rethink to even stay a member. Why they decided to do it except to make more money for themselves and disregard their customer base.

Booking program is sucks. Promo code is not working properly.

Always make booking a tee time seamless

I really like GolfNow, unfortunately many courses in my area have dropped them. Also, why is it that when booking some courses as a single, the tee time will disappear, saying no longer available, only to come back an hour later? If it's required to book 2, 3 or 4 say so up front, don't frustrate your members.

I was out of state traveling I booked a TTime and purchased the Cancellation Fee to protect my $$. A tornado watch was implemented and MORE than 24 hours I cancelled my TTime. They did not and would not refund my money. They wanted me to use my moneyas a credit ONLY THROUGH A HOT DEAL” special. What a scam. What was the cancellation fee for??? And I even cancelled my booking more than 24 hrs ahead.

I received a notification that my reservation was cancelled due to a "system error" two days before my tee time I prepaid for four players. I woke up in the middle of the night two weeks early to ensure I got the tee time I wanted. This was a father's day gift! Maybe he'll accept your apology email instead. This is absolutely awful. You took the time to send an email about the problem and took 0 corrective actions. I'll be sure to read my T&C to make sure I don't have legal recourse. You should be ashamed.

Scam site. I booked 4 tee times and pre-paid $138 per player. One of my friends got hurt and could not play and I cancelled one tee time 5 days in advance. Since the tee time was a "hot deal", they would not refund my money but gave me a credit on my account that expires in 6 months and can only be used for "hot deals" $138 that I will never see again.

It is easy to find tee times and book. Easy to find the courses you want and the hot deals. Everything about it works great.

The golf course staff were very helpful. Due to the course making the bunkers better for play, there were some delays, but they were acceptable due to the construction.

I made a reservation for a tee time on Sunday May 31st, 2026. I had to go to the emergency room for a heart issue. I had to cancel my tee time and did not receive a refund. There is no way to talk or chat with a person on the website. There has to be exceptions to there cancellation policy, but there’s no way to find out, because you can’t contact them. I’ll never use golf now again. Terrible customer service, because you can’t contact them.

There's a word for selling something you don't have: fraud.
Picked a tee time - plenty to choose from that day - they charged my credit card, then a note popped up saying the tee time isn't available and that I'll get my money back in a couple of days. This is not the first time this has happened with GolfNow. Should be named PayNow, whether you play or not.

STAY AWAY.....THIS OUTFIT IS A TOTAL JOKE! WEBSITE SUCKS....TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have tried for days to make a teetime, site shows that slots are available but when I try to book it says "ERROR" , but it charges my credit card anyway (most charges have later been removed, but this is crazy that they can't fix this, and don't seem to care). I have done this at least 10 times in the past 3 days and they have charged my card every time even though I did not get to book. This has been an issues for a long time and nothing has been done to fix the website. Only limited hours that you can call to speak to someone (if you are lucky). I find it hard to understand how the PGA allows this site to be so poorly run. Truly one of he worst companies I have ever dealt with.

GolfNow is ONLY for Hot Deals. For regular-priced tee times, you’re honestly better off booking directly through the golf course website or just calling the course yourself.

But if you book a Hot Deal through GolfNow, make sure you 100% attend that tee time because if you need to reschedule, the process is tedious. I was shown refund eligibility during cancellation, but afterward was told it only becomes GolfNow credit usable on only Hot Deal tee times.

It is also surprisingly difficult to clearly find their refund/cancellation policy from the website footer. I was honestly under the impression companies were supposed to make these things much more readily available for customers.

Even better, the website says credits are valid for 18 months, but ask support and they’ll tell you it’s only 6 months lol.

Overall the communication was completely mismatched and the experience was frustrating. Best bet is honestly to just check available tee times on GolfNow and then call the course directly — even if you never use this website, you really are not missing out on anything.

If I could give them a zero, I would. I booked a reservation at Falconhead Golf Course in Oklahoma. The course was booked by a tournament. GolfNow refuses to refund me my fee. I'll never used them again, and they submitted proof of a transaction that never occurred. I'll be referring them to the Attorney Generals office in their state of incorporation given their fraudulent and deceptive practices. They don't have a working phone number and don't respond to emails. I've used them before. Will never use them again.
