Where to Begin? Loyal customer for 2 years here. It works until something happens. Lots of issues lately from lost packages to broken figures and canceled orders by them due to low stock. If you dare to bring the issues to their attentions or dare to post a negative review, comment, they ban you. Dishonest, Fraudulent, AVOID at all costs.

Very Poor service and their positive reviews are fake, since they ban/remove/conseal negative reviews.
I was a long time customer for over 3 years.
During the covid-19 THEY canceled one of my expensive orders (claiming out of stock) and I lost alot of money on paypal conversion fees. I posted a comment about this negative experience, and since then they cancel all my payments and decline to let me buy anything.
I have NEVER been treated this badly by any company, disrespected more and felt so cheated despite always being honest with them.
At the first time of trouble they will bail, blame the fault on you and ban you for daring to voice your experience and making a negative experience known.
Dishonest and shady, NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL unless you want to be treated like garbage.

They didn't allow me to cancel my pre-ordered item. I wanted to cancel it, because I found the item somewhere else cheaper. Less than half of what I payed at Good Republic. And since my country changed the custom fees for 2021, I have to pay a lot now to get the item.
I don't have a lot of money because of the pandemic and because of Goods republic I have to pay even more.

the costumer service is amazing!!

i shop at goods republic all the time and have never had any problems. the customer service is amazing and if an item you want sells out you can ask them to restock it.

I've been too anxious to write a review because I'm not too social, but I had to say something about this site. For my first experience with Goods Republic, it was surprisingly outstanding. The paid item was identical to the online page. Yes, the prices will be expensive but considering the rarity of most items, I'd say it's a steal. Even during this quarantine, they sent the item out quickly and packaged carefully.

First time buying from here. I have in the past ordered from their sister company Otaku Republic and have had a good experience. So there was no reason for me to have any doubts. There were so much merchandise to scroll through and they ship abroad directly. Which made it convenient for me since I didn’t need to use a forwarding service. Plus, Goods Republic has some rare items that I can’t find anywhere else online. A lot of secondhand merchandise and cool stuff! Prices are somewhat overpriced but I wanted to treat myself.
July 8th: I placed my first order.
July 16th: I placed another order.
Both orders came with free priority shipping for orders over $60. If it’s an international order, I always prefer to have tracking just so I can check the progress.

You can only checkout with PayPal which is good for me since it’s one of the most safest and quickest form of payment. They will use your delivery address on your PayPal account, so make sure it is the correct one when finalising your payment. Like Otaku Republic you don’t sign up with a username/password, you simply order and checkout. And, you can sign up for their fun and cheery email newsletters. On the order confirmation email, it stated that handling time is 5-10 business days. Which was fine since I was already expecting long delays for any international parcels.

July 17th: I emailed customer service to ask if they can combine both of my orders into one shipment and that I was happy to wait. On the same day I received a reply by a friendly staff member called Shinjo who agreed to help. Which was great since I would rather wait for 1 parcel than 2.

I received an email update on both orders informing me it had been dispatched on: July 31st under the same shipment id.

-July 6th: Arrival to UK

I received my parcel on: July 7th, today.

Everything was packaged very securely and neatly. Most of the items I bought were secondhand but they appear to look brand new as expected! Which was sort of expected since I’ve used their sister site before and used products were undistinguishable from brand-new and it was hard to pinpoint any flaws. I understand that because of the current pandemic situation a lot of international packages are a bit slow but I was happy to wait since I wasn’t in a major rush to get my hands on these lovely anime goods! 5/5.

Really great customer service. Due to corona my package was massively delayed and every time I emailed I got a response about the updates on shipping times etc. Also really good packaging, I bought some glasses so it was a relief to see them packed very well!

I put in 2 different orders for used goods a bit over 1 month ago and neither have shipped out. Customer service is absolutely no help in giving me any updates on why I have to wait this long and how much longer it might take either. I inquired twice about what’s going on and all of my questions were ignored, I just got the exact same copy paste answer of “Covid-19 is slowing things down” each time. Of course I understand that it does, but a full month and counting, just for them to ship it out? If it takes 1 month+ to reach me AFTER shipping out, fine, but this?

This was my very first order from them and I think it will be my last. Probably going to cancel if nothing is changing about this in 1 or 2 more weeks. I think what bothers me most is the complete disinterest of their customer service in giving me any actual help or update on why it’s ACTUALLY taking 1 month or what is really going on with my order. I’ve made enough other orders from stores located in japan to know that it can’t be just Covid-19. I don’t have these issues with any other store.

I ordered a Chibi Kyun Chara figure on here. Was overpriced and it took two weeks just to ship it and over a month to arrive. Even after I paid for “priority shipping.” I asked them what shipping service they use and approximately how long it would take to be delivered and they didn’t know how to answer.

On the website, the item I ordered was described as “Used - Excellent Condition.” And when it finally did arrive? It was in the worst condition I’ve ever received a figure. There was scratches and markings on the figure’s head, and on the figure stand there were disgusting looking food stains. On top of that one of the pegs on the figure stand were broken. Not even close to excellent.

It’s truly a shame, GoodsRepublic has a nice selection of stuff but it would seem quality control is beneath them. Me personally, I will be staying away from this site in general and I will just order from amiami or Mandarake instead. At least they give accurate descriptions and don’t take forever to ship.

So getting right to the point- Goods republic does have a higher price in comparison to other sites. But they are worth it. They are the most straightforward, simple and easy service. No hidden fees or surprises.

Excellent communications, very fun packaging and it is secure with fast shipping.

They offer a nice range and selection of official merchandise. I have purchased both brand new and used items. For the brand new everything was excellent. For the used- it was also very good. The condition of the used item was great. Everything is just as it should be.

I've bought a tapestry and a keychain from Goods Republic.

Order processing took about 4/5 days and the shipping took approximately one week to Germany.

The best packaging I've seen in my online shopping experience! They always package the products
very safely, so the product don't get damaged while shipping.
The tapestry looks exactly like on the webite and keychain is pretty as well!

One of the best places for anime merch, many rare and old finds all at good prices (some can get a little pricey). Ordered from them multiple times. They've got pretty much every product as soon as it's available to pre-order. I'd recommend this site particularly for fellow Australians as there's free, and very reliable, shipping and the product also comes a lot faster than what it says on their website.
Many other US sites charge lots for shipping to Australia, but Good Republic doesn't, although you do have the option to pay to receive insurance and tracking. Always my go to sight when look for merch that isn't available within Australia. The team at Goods Republic will package any as if it were glass, so nothing is getting broken.
Also the handwritten notes they send out with purchases are very sweet.

I’ve purchased from this site a few times with no complaints. The packages arrive sooner than estimated and they packed everything securely. Standard postage is free. I think most of the items are overpriced however they occasionally offer coupons for a discount. But I think they mostly cater to people who don’t know about or know how to use a proxy service. That said they do have a large selection including hard to find items.
I’ve also used their other site Manga Republic. Again it’s overpriced but they do stock original Japanese manga that I’ve not been able to find through a proxy.

So I recently order The AI Kizuna Plush 30cm and it came fast it was also soft and cuddly I like it so much I was not expecting it to be so big I like this plush no regrets on this order best order yet.

Their items are in best condition and arrived earlier than expected, their customer service is very friendly and their website is clear. Plus they included an extra in this package.
I am absolutely sadisfied and would definitely recommend this shop!

This store is awesome to get some really old merchandise you can't get anywhere else. With Goods Republic you can choose to pay either 10 dollars to get it shipped faster, get a track and trace and have it insured or...you choose to pay 0 dollars for slower shipping and no track and trace and no insurance.
Since I like collecting small trading figures which come at a price of 5-9 dollars each, I love Goods Republics choices of shipping. (at most sites the shipment is even as expensive as, or even more expensive than the product itself)

If you see a product on their page which is sold out/ out of stock, you can send them a request to restock your item. Goods Republic is very fast with responding to these messages.

Their packaging is very secure and their customer service is really polite and they respond really quickly.
