Goosehillcattery Avis 

After 40 years of owning cats, Goosehill is by far the best cattery we have used. Nice, safe and clean pens and owners who really care about the wellbeing of the cats boarding there.

We have used GOOSEHILL a few times now & they are always welcoming & look after Fifi, who is very relaxed there. The houses for the cats are set in lovely peaceful surroundings

Our kitten pheobe stayed at the weekend such a beautiful relaxing place( I could of moved in myself for a break ) spotless clean and she was very well looked after will definitely use again

This was first experience of leaving my cats at a cattery when going away.
Felt really reasurred that they were in safe hands, the setting was quite and calm.

Goosehill cattery are amazing. Ian and Julie go above and beyond to make a cats stay as happy as possible. They are so brilliant with Jaide my three year old British Shorthair. She came home happy and content as always. Would strongly recommend to anyone needing to board a cat. Jaide stayed for 8 days.

Our cat Biscuit had her 1st birthday in August and this was her first visit to a cattery, We have nothing but positive things to say. It would be fair to say Biscuit is very vocal and demanding 😂 well it is good to say she did not get kicked out and came home to us after 2 weeks with a bit of attitude but perfectly healthy and definitely herself. Goosehill Cattery will definitely be getting more bookings from us, lovely people lovely facilities 😊

Pablo’s third stay but first one for more than a couple of days and we couldn’t have been more relaxed taking him there. He’s always very well looked after and happy when we get back to him. He loves the views of the pond and wildlife. We wouldn’t choose anywhere else for him.

First time elvis stayed here was made very welcome.Took elvis to his chalet which was nice looking into the garden and water feature. Will be booking again. We had to laugh when they could say elvis has left the building on leaving

Our cat has just stayed at Goosehill Cattery for 17 days whilst we were on holiday, and we honestly can't say enough nice things about them. We paid the extra £25 for use of the CatCam camera and it was worth every penny. Not only did it give us peace of mind that our boy was ok, but we saw the numerous times a day that the staff went in and checked on him, cleaned his litter tray, cleaned his room (always cleaning!), gave him attention, straightened his blankets, closed his little room door if it dropped chilly. Our boy was very nervous upon arrival and so straight away they plugged in a Feliway plug in for him to help calm him, so thoughtful. And he'd unfortunately made a mess in his carrier in the car and Julie very kindly washed all of this for us. He was a little monkey and wasn't the friendliest boy shall we say (out of character for him), but they looked beyond this and gave him lots of attention the whole stay. Absolutely wonderful place, we can leave our boy with full peace of mind to go on holiday without worrying.

This cattery provides everything a cat could need. Our 2 seemed relaxed and happy when we collected them after a fortnight away and had obviously been well looked after. The owners are pleasant and friendly and clearly love cats. We'll definitely be taking our cats there again.

First time having to leave our cat at a Cattery and from dropping her off to picking her up I was happy with her surroundings, the water feature and music not to mention all the cuddles she had. The staff are just warm and friendly and would definitely return if need to.

I have always been very pleased with leaving my cat here. Such a lovely peaceful cattery. ✌️

Ian & Julie are so welcoming especially letting my grandson have a walk through the cattery. We’ill always use Goosehill Cattery as our cat Stormzy is settled and calmed on every stay. We must thank Ian & Julie as I came stuck without a vehicle to pick up my cat so Ian & Julie assisted with options. They are both very professional and their Cattery is superb and well managed, highly recommended xx

This is the second time Max has stayed here. He absolutely loves it, chatting away to the other cats. He is much more vocal when he comes home, which is lovely to hear. I am confident he is well looked after and wouldn't think of using anywhere else.

Julie made me feel that my really timid cat would be safe and well.
Ruby cried all the way home.
That's normal for her.
All in all would recommend Julie and her staff.Thank you.

Daisy again enjoyed another 5 star experience at Goosehill and we can relax while away knowing she was safe and extremely well looked after in fantastic surroundings.

This was the first time that we have used Goosehill Cattery and it won't be the last. They have good facilities in lovely surroundings.

This is the most professional cattery I've used, to date. I have never boarded in Wakefield before and had a fairly last minute booking. From start to finish the service was exceptionally good, from pick up to drop off at my new address. I definitely recommend!

Great communication from start to finish. Our young cats clearly had a lovely time as they weren't that bothered about coming home with us !
Lovely welcome on arrival and on pick up we were given a lovely update on how they had been. Couldn't fault the service.
