GO Outdoors - Bury Avis 

During my visit to the Bury store i was assisted by Tom who was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent advise on camping equipment.
He took the time to explain the best type of equipment for the activity I was doing.
I would recommend Tom if you visit the Bury store he was very helpful

This purchase was a replacement. The refund for the original item was confirmed in writing by Go Outdoors to take up to 5 days. Here we are on day 6. A broken promise should earn zero points on a review. Typically disappointing.

The clothing and footwear prices have increased at an alarming rate since I visited about 6 months ago.
The tent prices are good but if you are after a bargin apart from tent pegs (again) forget it.

Staff and the efficient service

I visited the Bury store for some new boots . Vendy served me and was really helpful. I was attended to quickly, in a friendly manner and offered a good selection of footwear to try on. It took me some time to select what I wanted and she was very patient . In the end I picked a top end pair of boots that she had suggested and left a very happy customer . I don't usually go to the Bury store but now its my number one.

I was in the Bury store on Tuesday 18th August for last minute camping trip supplies. Really can’t thank Ben and Lee enough. I had quite a few things to get and these guys were amazing. From the advise I received to the poor guys packing my stuff for me!! I was truly grateful and they saved me a few quid with a heads up on instore offers that aren’t on the website. Sometimes it really is worth being bothered to go instore. Wouldn’t be set for my trip as quick and confident I haven’t forgotten anything.

I was served by thando today she was a lovely worker who helped us with our purchase and didn’t rush us at all. she made our experience as two teenage girls so comfortable. Will definitely be returning !!!

Easy to cut down to size works really well with the original poles. I actually ordered the wrong poles but they changed them without hesitation! This is the second set I’ve bought to replace the older broken poles works great every time!!

Zero customer service in store, zero communication on online and rude staff.
Forced to pay membership twice.
Presented with my click and collect garments in a heap, like they had been kicked around the floor for days.
Opportunity to reply to my emails was given, but no reply.

Helpful and pleasant staff helped to resolve product problem easily and without any fuss. Thank you.

Gave the bury store a call spoke to Thando to reserve a pair of scarpa crux approach men’s walking shoes last pair left in store and it was no trouble to save them for me to collect
