Disappointed on a recent visit to Bury…
Disappointed on a recent visit to Bury go outdoors store.staffing levels seemed inadequate.it took me some time to get some assistance.plus a less than enthusiastic server forgetting to remove the security disk on my £140 purchase.i didn't discover this until the next day.this meant a 10 mile return visit to store to have it removed.

5 stars for the attention to service I received from Josie at the Bury store -she went above and beyond - so thank you Josie BUT ONE STAR FOR YOUR REORGANISATION INTO BRAND NAMES - I wanted a ladies coat and had to go around all the different brand name areas instead of choosing a coat in a section with all ladies coats available in one place - very misguided reorganisation from the hierarchy - you have lost a customer who always came to you first for my outdoor clothing and accessories - please re-think your new policy - from a loyal but exasperated customer.

Great experience
I visited the Bury store to buy new walking boots and was served by David B.
David was a pleasant and knowledgeable guy who spent time with me to establish my needs before going through my options, helping me to narrow down which were possibles for me. He then patiently brought out different sizes for me to try, offering his opinion about the fit of each. We eventually arrived at a pair of Scapa boots which were extremely comfortable and with my member discount, I bought at a price cheaper than anywhere online.
So - top marks to David B., top marks to Go Outdoors Bury. Even the lady at the checkout was lovely.

We went back to bury store to return a…
We went back to bury store to return a faulty item. I didn't have my receipt, we was helped by Kiera who took the time to search through my account and find the purchase, she then took the time to go through a replacement item as our faulty one was no longer available.
Kiera was extremely helpful and very professional.

Ordered 2 pairs of trousers for click & collect, both in short leg.. was sent 2 trousers in regular leg and one pair wasnt even the colour I ordered?

Great service
I was mostly served by Ben on footwear and he was super helpful, friendly, and polite, even though it was early and I was asking lots of questions. All colleagues that interacted with were great. It makes a difference when everyone’s pleasant and friendly. 100% on service. Thank you all.
