GO Outdoors - Colchester Avis

I came to Go Outdoors Colchester on two occasions. The first time I was offered limited help but on the second time Andrew was really helpful and informative and led me to the correct pair of shoes for me.

Always a pleasure to shop in the Colchester store, very helpful honest staff. Thanks to Kirsty who helped us choose hiking poles today.

We needed a short arm and leg wet suit for our 7 year old. Rang the Colchester store and spoke to Purcey. He put 2 sizes aside until we got there and happy to be able to purchase one. Fantastic customer service 👏

I found it really difficult to understand the ticket pricing with a top price and a members price ?
I was informed that to become a member I had to part with £5 but this is minimal compared to the potential savings.
I joined up but still didn't understand how much I had actually paid until I checked it out on the web page.
Very confusing and not sure why there has to be members price in the first place - just put your best price up and people will buy otherwise they will be put off and not make a sale !!

We were served by Andrew this morning, he was VERY helpful and VERY knowledgeable, it was a pleasure being served by him and would certainly asked for him again.

I've had to sit down all day to try and put this into words, but I know I needed to write a review about Go Outdoors Colchester. Me and the husband wanted to take the kids out for the day, and due to the typical British weather, our options were limited. My husband mentioned that he needed a new pair of climbing shoes and that's when the idea sparked into my head. So, I ran and told the kids, we got in the car, and rushed to Go Outdoors Colchester. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ripley, a true gentlemen that seems like he would always meet quota, as he assisted in finding my husbands new climbing shoes. The checkout process was simple with apples pay, and the kids had a fantastic time and have already said they can't wait to go again.

I would highly recommend Go Outdoors Colchester to families looking for a thrill seeking day out!

I visited the colchester go outdoors earlier to look for a tent, and was shocked by how helpfull the staff were, a young man named Ripley showed me around the tents and helped me pick out my perfect one im so happy with it and can't wait to test it out.

Very helpful lady on till, helped me save money!

I joined up in order to get a good deal on an inflatable mattress. It was done quickly and efficiently and I was happy with my purchase

Go Outdoors Colchester has always been one of my favourite shops. Full of useful gear ,clothing and footwear.The previous shop was much bigger but the staff I have encountered in both shops are knowledgeable and helpful. Today I was helped by Susan and Pamela, who treated me in their usual cheerful manner. I was trying on some jackets which each needed unlocking. They let me try as many as I liked and re secured garments that I did not buy. I am treated almost as a friend and I always recommend the store to friends who might become potential customers.Thank you for being a great store and staff. I hope that a bigger shop is opened again soon.

I needed a new pair of walking shoes and I was willing to pay for a good quality pair. I had a couple of brands in mind. Andrew was very helpful and knowledgeable especially in how to choose the correct sizing. Very important when you're walking up to 16 miles. You don't want to end up crippled at the end. Andrew knew what he was talking about when it came to choosing the right ones. Very often staff at these big stores have no idea about the stock they sell, Andrew is a welcome exception. So satisfying and gave me confidence in my choice.
