Helpful staff, well stocked.
I came into the store today by chance, and received lots of help from Steve and Evie in regards to my queries about the selection of rucksacks.
They also took the time to show me how to adjust the equipment and gave me personal reccomendations, a brilliant and friendly service!

Kind patient staff
Just went in to get a gas canister for a camping stove I had bought online, Steve and Tom were both really kind and patient got me everything I needed and helped me set up my membership properly. Great shop:)

Excellent customer service
We visited today to get some new hiking boots and socks for an upcoming D of E trip but this was not the first time we’ve had such brilliant customer service from the team and its a key reason we keep coming back to the store. Staff very patient and gave us lots of assistance and direction with the best fit and styles for our daughter and we feel confident she has the right gear now. Keep up the excellent work!

Everything I needed & helpful staff.
They had everything I needed in this deceptively small Halifax store. I needed advice on buying kit for my daughter's Duke of Edinburgh expedition and Alex advised me as we went round the store. He was great, made money saving suggestions at times, and helped me decide what options to go for, with the pros and cons of each. He didn't make me feel stupid when I showed my lack of knowledge but was helpful, friendly and polite.

Great service from Alex & Steve
Alex was absolutely brilliant! He was so knowledgeable and was able to give me advice & answer all my questions. He was kind, patient and helped me to choose the right boots & walking shoes for my feet and for the activities I do.
Steve too was very friendly and extremely helpful and efficient.
Thanks to them both- I’ll be back next time I need walking kit!
