GO Outdoors - Ipswich Avis 

Popped in to get a flogas refill and was helped immediately by floor staff. No waiting to pay at the til either. Everyone was very helpful and friendly to my disabled father too.

On 5 January 2026 I went to Go Outdoors,
Ipswich to find and buy a suitable pair of walking boots. I was served by Celeste who could not have been more helpful. The store had a good selection of boots in the sale at good prices. Celeste knew about walking boots, and was attentive, polite and professional.

Ashley served me to buy some walking boots. What made the visit memorable was he was a walker himself and was able to advise me on the best boots to buy. He did not rush me and made sure the fit was correct before I purchased. You do not see service like that very often.

Ashley was super knowledgeable on sorting me with the right pair of new boots. Not only explaining the differences in the different boots but why these features are important for what I am doing with them.
He was also super approachable and friendly.

Dan was great! He was very patient and friendly when I was looking for a new pair of walking boots and knew a lot about the different brands and technology. I must have tried on about 6 different pairs so nothing was too much trouble. I can't wait to start trying them out! Matt was also very helpful and effecient.

Ashley went above and beyond today . Nothing was too much trouble . He helped me solve a problem with my bag which solved a big problem for me and my future travel plans. Great customer service . Laura was also wonderful . Both a credit to the store.

Was very happy with the way they quickly sorted out my return jacket. Matt was very helpful and knowledgeable about how to solve problems quickly.

Eve was really helpful, lovely service and doing what she could to help. No pushy sales tactics and staff helped show where the products were.

Dean was very patient with me trying on lots of pairs of hiking boots, answered my questions and also offered advice.
I was there almost an hour comparing the pros and cons of different boots, thank you Dean for being so helpful :-)

My husband wanted to buy a new pair walking shoes, Emma was very knowledgeable about style of shoe which would suit his feet, very friendly and patient.
Service at the cash desk with Nicole was very good at sorting discounts out.
Highly recommend the store.

Went to the ipswich store, the place is amazing with amazing staff, their all kind and helpful and not ignorant. I was looking for walking shoes and Ash really helped me out, also helping me stay within my budget which was extremely helpful.

Was served today by Emma whilst looking at some walking shoes. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was very knowledgeable.

I came in to try on a pair of hiking boots and was excellently served by Denise who made sure I had the best size and type of boot. Matt on the till was quick and helpful when sorting my membership.

Went to the Ipswich store to buy a new waterproof coat and was served by Aiesha . She was very good and knew her products and could answer all the questions I asked her. She was also very polite and her customer service was first class. I then went to the check out where the customer service was NOT first class which was disappointing. My coat was not folded or zipped up , just in a pile on the counter. When buying a coat for £180 I would expect it to be folded neatly. In fact what ever I buy should be folded neatly. Every customer should be looked after
