I chose to go in store because I needed to find out about my size and what the trainers felt like;afterall what you see online doesn't always represent your needs. Matt, from the York road shop in LS9, the sales adviser was incredibly kind, patient and fun! It made my experience so much easier! Rather than buying cheap, I ended up buying comfort and quality which will go a long way when I "Go Outdoors".
There's very few staff members, these days that go the extra mile and truly help customers and thats what Matt did for me! Thank you mate! 😉 I hope your managers notice your great customer service skills and reward you for that!

Mike was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my choosing walking shoes. He really cared about finding the right pair. He explained about the price matching policy which was very much appreciated. Many thanks.

Had a great experience at the Leeds store today. I had a few questions about some gear and Kacey was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with me. Brilliant customer service!

The sale process was great. The email I received confirming the order said that they would email me when the order was ready to collect.

Over a week later I went to check the order as the camping trip was getting really close! They were ready. I didn't receive an email about it though. Collected the items from a busy store.

Bought more items and they couldn't find the membership I bought online. Had to go and get the number to add it to the store system.

The real life and online computer systems are obviously not well connected and do not help you get your items easily or quickly. It might be easier to do one or the other.

Excellent customer service! Mike's expertise, enthusiasm and knowledge is second to none in hiking equipment. He took time to understand what I needed and made sure I found a comfortable, suitable pair. Really appreciated the professional and welcoming service- the best ever

It's all a little over priced in comparison to other stores... even with the member discount. Store I went to in Leeds quite run down, with unhelpful / unknowledgable staff. Used to be the go-to place for kit 20+ years ago, but not any more sadly.

1st Festive Camping Trip.
Lewis was really helpful and provided us with useful information on which tent would work for my daughter and friends first festival camping trip. We aren't a camping family so it's all new to us. Would highly recommend speaking to staff for assistance. Lewis also gave us space to discuss what we wanted to do after his advice and when we were ready with our decision we called him back. It was nice to not feeling pressured.

Don't often write reviews so this tells you how happy I am with the service received today.

After a weekend with a new air tent (1st time using) returning back in the afternoon after a day out we found one of the air beams burst. No ideal with 2x 3 year olds.

Was served by Mike when buying some walking shoes. As a complete beginner I didn’t know where to start but he gave expert advice with no pressure whatsoever. And did well to manage a few customers at the same. Happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend with no reservations.

Extremely disappointed to receive a parking fine after spending over two hours in your shop and spending a significant amount of money. I would expect some kind of facility for people to enter their registrations if this is the case.

The sandals were just as expected, arrived within a couple of days & am really pleased with the quality.

Overall great experience! Mike in particular provided us with so much knowledge when looking for walking boots. Excellent service.

Jimmy is the man to go to people, we came get a tent for our muslim peace walk for humanity & he has shown that humanity is better when we worked togehter, as we are from newcastle (Gordies), i would like to say thank you & Go on Jimmy son, waye aye.
