GO Outdoors - Peterborough Avis 

The Staff in Peterborough go outdoors are so lovely it makes you feel as if you’re on holiday 🎉 they smile and genuinely want to help you and nothing is to much trouble, they really care ,, it makes me want to go back and find something else to buy, it’s my favourite shop anyway

As always neat and tidy and easy to find everything needed.

I was served by Matt in the fishing department and he was brilliant. I had a good chat with him about the trip I had planned and he helped me out with exactly what I needed and even explained why that would be the best option when compared to the alternatives. Great customer service, lovely chap.

Danny was so helpful in helping me choose some kit for scout camp. He took the time to help me compare different items and explained the differences between them. Super helpful.

The item I wanted was not in store, so I had to order online and collect in store. I received good service and there were helpful staff in store.

Excellent service. I ordered an item (swimming shorts ) online to collect at your store in Carlisle. On arriving home, I found they were too small. I phoned the store and was told that they could be returned to any Go Outdoors store in the country. I went back to the store and was informed by a sales assistant the the store could receive them but could not replace them as the store does not stock swimwear. She phoned the store in Perith, which I would be driving past the following day, ascertained that the had the same time in stock and would put a pair aside for me to collect. This was done. However, the size was again wrong (I have evidently grown since I last purchased a pair of swimming shorts!) I returned to the store the following day, explained the situation and asked if I could exchange them. This was done with the utmost courtesy and efficient attentiveness. I told all sales personnel who attended me, and I hereby inform the company, that I am full of admiration for Go Outdoors and for your personnel. All-surpassing excellence. I am a highly satisfied customer.

Always excellent! Cant fault GoOutdoors on any shopping trip I’ve been on there! Click and collect is a great service too (when the kids are about)

GO staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Ellie helped me find the right pair of sandals whilst we talked about camping trips. The price was super-competitive!

I visited the Go Outdoors Peterborough store today to purchase three fishing rods that were showing as available on the website. Unfortunately, I couldn’t locate them in the store, so I approached a member of staff named Dave for assistance.
Dave was extremely helpful and checked the stockroom thoroughly. When the rods could not be found there, he went the extra mile and searched through a recent delivery in the warehouse, where he successfully located all three.
The service I received from Dave was exceptional and went far beyond what would normally be expected. His helpful attitude, determination and excellent customer service made the whole experience a very positive one. Dave is a real credit to the Go Outdoors Peterborough team.

I would like to thank Danny for his assistance with my purchase of a Vango tent. He showed a high level of knowledge in explaining the new features and was extremely helpful.

I use a mobility scooter so find it difficult to shop alone. On entering the store I was met by Dave who offered his help. He fetched by purchases for me from the floor above, served me immediately at the till, then loaded my goods into my car. This kind of service has almost been forgotten, so I commend Dave. Absolutely amazing service. Thank you.

I am very satisfied with my purchase from GO Outdoors. I bought a garden parasol and it fully met my expectations. The quality is excellent – the fabric looks sturdy and the mechanism works smoothly. Assembly was simple and fast. The item is great value for money, and it makes spending time outside much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this store!

Today I was served by Steve and Ethan.
I was looking for a tent that was on offer and couldn’t find it, Steve found me looking confused and asked if I needed help. He located the tent for me and put it at the till for me. He then asked if I wanted to carpet and footprint bundle. He talked me through their uses and what to do with them.
While Ethan served me at the till, Steve hung around to help me take everything to the car.
Both memeber of staff were very friendly and helpful.
Go outdoors if my favourite shop to visit and this is mainly down to helpful staff like these guys.
